Road Trip by Cheri Burry!

Hello Ai Fans!
Today I am sharing with you a card I made using the Art Impressions "Shoppers" set. The "Shoppers set comes with the Front and Back image as well as a sentiment. You can also just purchase the "Shoppers Front" or the "Shoppers Back" images on their own.
I decided to make a half front card base so that I could also add the back image. I decided to use the "Road Trip" sentiment from the "Road Trip" set as the license plate for fun. I am using papers from the Doodlebug "Spring Things" 6x6 collection to create my little country scene. The gals are on their way home from shopping, taking the scenic route LOL.
Here you can see how the back image is applied. I also inked the edges of my papers to make them stand out a bit more.
I sure hope this Gal doesn't loose any of the precious packages as they travel home!
I made a second card just using the "Shoppers Front" image to show how versatile this set can be.
I added glossy accents to the windshield, and some glitter pen to the lights and bumper for added fun!

Shopping Friends!

Hi Ai Fans!
I just love the whole Girlfriends line over at Art Impressions! This super cute set is called "Shop Set"and comes with the image and 3 matching sentiments. I can just picture this being so true for many of us! The word "Sale" and off we go running!
After colouring my image with my Copics, I cut out this cute PPP Scalloped frame to layer over top. The image is a good size so I didn't need to really add a bunch of different papers to it. Just a ribbon and bow to finish it all off! This card size is 6.5"x 5".
This sentiment that comes with the set just cracks me up!!

Are the girlfriends good drivers?

Hello Ai Fans!

Today I'm sharing a funny birthday card with you.

My card features the one and only GIRLFRIENDS!!

I've used the SHOPPERS FRONT.
I decided I wanted to make the card a little dimensional so I popped up the front of the car and the license plate after I paper pieced them.
The verse is called GET OFF SIDEWALK.

I used two additional verses on the inside...

TOO OLD TO CARE
and
GF HAPPY BIRTHDAY

They were colored with Copic markers.

Okay...so I realized that I took the photos before I added the sparkly button head lights.  So, without further adieu here is the finished product!

Girlfriends just wanna have fun!

Hello Ai friends and happy Friday! Today I have a card that is full of Spring colors and summer fun! I pulled out this wonderfully fun set of girlfriends "Shoppers set", SKU# 3569. It is a favorite of mine, and I finally got to ink it up!  The base of my kraft cardstock is 5-1/2" x 5-1/2". I chose to use some pretty spring/summer colored designer paper from a Simple Stories paper pad. I stamped my image with black Memento ink and colored the image with copic markers. I cut the image out and popped it up on foam tape to give it some dimension.

Here is a close up of the finished card. I sewed around the edges, and added some fun flower die cuts and a banner die cut with a matching sentiment from the Shoppers set.

For the inside I stamped a girlfriends sentiement "through thick and thin", SKU# F4043. I love that simple sentiment. I added a large strip of matching designer paper, and distressed the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and happy stamping.
Thanks for stopping by the Art Impressions blog.
