Friends Forever Card by Tasha!

Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing two cards created with the Ai 5516 Friends Forever Stamp Set!

For my first card I wanted to make a bright daytime scene. These girlfriends look like they are having a great time sitting together enjoying the weather! I enjoyed coloring their clothing and adding details to make their outfits unique.

I love this greeting and thought it would be perfect to send to a special friend. I used orange card stock to frame the sentiment to coordinate with the blue in the background. I also added red, white, and orange layers to the card to bring in more color.

The second card is a night scene and I used darker colors to go with the starry night sky. You can really customize this stamp to go with all different seasons. I think I may create a Fall and Winter scene next!

I created the background with various stencils and ink blended the edges. I wanted it to look like the bright moon was shinning, so I kept the center bright to spotlight the friends. This stamp is so cheerful and it's so much fun to get creative and give each character a different look.

I hope you enjoyed these projects and are having a wonderful day!

Another Birthday? You're Kidding!

Hi Ai fans! This week I played with  this Old Goat stamp set, this stamp set is so fun. I stamped the image onto smooth card stock with Memento black ink. I die cut the image with the sentiment out using a double stitched oval die.  I love the sentiments that go with it they are so much fun.

For this card I used the sentiment "Another Birthday? You're Kidding!" this sentiment is so funny too me. I think that is my favorite sentiment with this set. That goat is so cute standing on the cake eating the party decor.

I matted the oval die cut onto pattern paper and then placed it onto a double stitched rectangle cut out of Kraft card stock matted onto pattern paper. I adhered the whole panel to a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" card base.

Happy stamping!

Donkey birthday wishes

 Hello Ai Fans!

A friend of mine has requested several birthday cards and she loves to give humorous cards. Art Impressions has some of the best funny stamps around. I've used several on this card. Can't wait for her to see it!

This laughing DONKEY (sku #P1555) is part of the Ai Zoo.

I've used 4 verses on the inside and out...

How Old?! (sku#D1453)

Another Birthday (sku#E2807)

Young Once (sku#F1679)

Fabulous You (sku#G2987)

The only tool I used on my card was a Spellbinders circle die.

Donkey is colored with Copic markers.

Here's the inside. (I did mask off the Fabulous you portion since I wanted this card to be a little more masculine.)

Don't forget that the NEW Ai ZooCrew is now available!
