Armfuls Baby Cards by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

Our current challenge here on the blog is called ABC, 123. Use Letter or Number dies in some way on your project.

Today I've made a slimline trifold card.  When I first saw the new letter and number dies from Art Impressions, I instantly thought about children's blocks.

I used square dies along with the mini baby dies and slimline dies to create my trifold card.

I created a baby boy version and then I created a more neutral version because I have a coworker expecting twins and we don't know the gender/s yet.

The possibilities are endless when it comes to these letter and number dies. You can spell out anything you like with them. I hope you're inspired to join in our challenge. You could be the next winner of a free stamp set.

Home is Where my Plants Are Tag by Nina

Hello Ai fands, Nina here with a new project for our current challenge. I created this tag using the Garden mini Die set, Stitched Tags Die Set and Rocking Chair Set.

I die cut the chair three times and glued them on top of each other so the chair has some dimension.

I also die cut the garden tools using different scraps of pattern papers and glued to the tools to the back of the watering can so it gives the illusion that they are coming out of it.

I then die cut my tag base from a pattern paper and I noticed it has some greens on the top righ corner which inspired the color of the green ground. I cut a strip from a pattern paper that is green and glued it to the tag so my chair has a ground to sit on.

I then glued the chair, the tools nd a fun sentiment from my stash.

I then decorated with some enamel dots.

Birds on an Arbor by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans and Happy Sunday!

Today I have a trio of cards to share.

Two of them are Mother's Day cards for my mom and mother-in-law.
The third is a "just because" card.

We'll start with that one.

I created my card with the current Don't Fence Me In challenge
going on HERE on the Ai Blog.

Links for all of the sets are here and at the bottom.

5363 – WC Arbor Dies
5346 – Birdhouse Cubbies Set
5742 – Easter Journal Paper Pack
5336 – Garden Mini Dies
5136 – WC Sentiment Set 2
5317 – MB Template Dies
5063 – Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies
5592 – Harvest Journal Die Set
4773 – Acrylic Block 5 Pack (Variety)
Memento Ink Pad

This is my mother-in-law's card and it's an A2 size with not too
much dimension since it has to be mailed to Florida and I know
my husband would rather just pop it in the mailbox instead of
driving to the post office because he's really busy with work right now.

This one is my mom's.  I used the scraps from the other card and popped
her main panel up since I'll be delivering hers in person.

It was actually my mother-in-law that inspired these cards.  They visited us last
summer and she spent a lot of time bird watching at our feeders.  She was fascinated
with them and rightfully so.  We have some beautiful birds.

Copics used:
G20, G82, BG02, R81, YR21

Lime Green Twin Tone

Have a great weekend everyone!

Screen Door with Mini Dies by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

This card popped into my head at the end of summer.  My husband and I needed to replace the screen on our sliding glass door.  We had a bear in our yard and our dog smelled it.  He leapt through the screen and took off. He was fine...the bear was gone in no time and we have an invisible fence that keeps our dog in our yard.  The screen didn't fare as well.

After cutting and installing our screen door we had left over screen.  I simply couldn't throw it out.  I wasn't sure why yet but then this card popped into my head. If I could co-install a real life door why couldn't I create one with cardboard and paper?  On the front I used two dies...the cat is from 5333 – Cats Mini Dies and the watering can is from 5336 – Garden Mini Dies.

When you open the door you see the kitchen counter and cabinet. On the counter and on the wall I used all of the dies from 5335 – Kitchen Mini Dies and I used the mirror to create my "stainless steal" pan from the 5334 – Salon Mini Dies.

The clock is from the new 5323 – MB Wall Accessories from the Matchbook series Bonnie just released.

When you open up the cabinet doors you can see the verse which is from Art Impressions - Clear Photopolymer Stamp Set - Daisies which is a Scrapbook.com Ai exclusive.

My screen door is very plain and boring.  Maybe someday I'll have a prettier, rustic one like this. One can hope!  Happy crafting!
