Crafty Friend Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card created with the 5322 - MB Craft Room Set. This card also goes with the current Ai Challenge theme "Never Have I Ever" since this is the first time I used this fun set.

I think these little MB sets are so much fun to create with and it always amazes me how much detail are in these tiny cards. I started by selected a piece of Art Impressions pattern paper and cut the base with the 5317 - MB Template Dies. This die set also includes the dies to cut the little windows and frames, I love the windows!

To add a little extra cuteness to the room, I attached a little kitty stamp from the 5324 - MB Cat Accessories set. This cat looks adorable sleeping on the chair!

Lastly, I folded the card and inserted it into the coordinating MB envelope. The envelope has scored lines that fold easily to fit the MB card and includes a little bow die to decorate with. I just love how this project turned out and look forward to gifting this to someone special.

Thanks for checking out today's card and I hope you are having a great day!

Graduation Music Matchbook with Easel Pocket by Reneé

 Hello Ai fans!

Before I get into my post for today I have an announcement.
Be sure to check back later today for a special giveaway for my upcoming
Art Impressions 13th Anniversary!

Today I'm sharing a special request I had for a graduation card.
I often sell my cards to friends and this was a card that one of them
wanted for a student who was graduating last month.

They requested that it have this specific picture of The Who on it and that
it be music themed.

I had just received the new 5905 – Music Shop MB and 5901 – Mini Rectangle Frame Dies
and knew they would be perfect for his request. I embossed the blue paper with stars before
cutting it with the 5317 – MB Template Dies5317 – MB Template Dies.

I then embossed the same paper with music notes before cutting that out with the
frame dies. I glued the bottom shut so her could put the MB, a little note and a gift
card inside. The sentiment is from 5735 – Birthday Sentiment Set.

The frame has an easel so that it can stand up for display.

I used the 5562 – Journal Letter Die Set to add her name to the back of the MB.

They say it's your birthday!

 Hello Ai fans!

I absolutely LOVE the new little frame die sets from
Art Impressions.

All Art Impressions products are linked below.

This is the first project I made using them.

I didn't use them as they are intended but I really love that
you have options in how you use them!

My friend's niece, Sophia, just turned 12 and she told me that she has
really gotten into music. Some of her favorites are the Monkees, Beach Boys
and the Beatles so I incorporated them into my design.

I knew she would be giving some sort of gift like a check or gift card so I wanted
a sort of "pocket" and not just the normal MB Envelope. The new frame dies jumped
out at me.

I turned the frame upside down and glued the straight seam together.
The scallop was now at the top and made the perfect little pocket that stands
up and hold her little music room.

The Monkee and Beatle art was just printed from my laptop.

You Glow Girl! by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a card that I made for a friend.

She is having surgery soon and was saying that she wanted to get her hair done
so that was taken care of because she won't be able to leave her house for
a while. My other friend and I decided to treat her to her hair appointment.

I used the 5498 – MB Salon to create the card.
I needed something to put a note in as well as her gift card so I used

You will need the 5317 – MB Template Dies to create the base for your card.

There is also a cute little envelope to put the little MB in.

The little tag is included in the MB Template set and the adorable bobby pin is from

I created two different versions and the papers are from

Tales from the Deep (end of the pier)! by Janet

Hello everyone and welcome to the weekend! Father's Day is almost here and if you have a fisherman in the family like I do, you will be as excited about the new 5906 Bait & Tackle MB as I am! Is this not adorable? Ai has hit it out of the park once again with all the details that are packed into this little card.

All matchbook cards start out the same way. You use the same base card dies no matter what the theme is. It's super handy and makes it very affordable to add to your matchbook collection. The base is 5317 MB Template Dies. I cut mine out of a 6 x 6 piece striped cardstock. I cut the die again but just for the bottom half so that I could get a floor piece. I wanted it to have a more wood-like appearance. It's the first time I've done that and it worked well. It didn't make the card too bulky or interfere with closing the card up even though both the base and the woodgrain cardstocks were heavy weight.

Once the base card was ready, I simply stamped and colored the images included in this set and then cut everything out with the included dies. The dies even put in score lines so it's easy to fold the tabs that are used to attach the pieces to the card base! I had a great time imagining this shop and coloring it all up. I chose to use the Gone Fishin' sentiment which is made to perfectly fit the die in the template set. I also thought the fish would be fun hanging on the awning.

Although I didn't take a photo of it, I did make a matching envelope for this one. The MB cards fold up and a tab keeps them shut but the envelope is a great touch and makes it extra special. To cut the perfect little envelope, I used the 5318 MB Envelope Dies. And once again, once you have this die set you can use it for all your matchbook card creations!

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope my card gives you some ideas of your own. Please visit the store to see all the things you need for your card, journal, and tag making projects. Be sure to take a look at all the new releases while you are there. Have a great Saturday!

Bait & Tackle Shop by Dori Mendiola

 Happy Thursday AI Friends!

I hope you all have had a chance to check out the four new matchbooks that were released last week. They are so so cute and fun to make. Today I want to share the #5906 Bait and Tackle Shop. Bonnie did such an amazing job at creating this little shop. She included everything!!!!!  This is perfect for the fisherman in your life!  Just in time for Father’s Day!!

I stamped the images onto copic friendly paper with Memento Black ink and then colored with my copic markers (see list below).  Once colored I assembled the matchbook using the corresponding #5317 MB template die set (sold separately).  Check out Bonnie's tutorial at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTqXgY0Ebmk for assembling instructions.  I also used the #5318 MB envelope die set to make the corresponding envelope that the matchbook fits into.
These die sets work with all of the matchbook stamp sets.  There are over 20 to choose from.

Hope you try out some of these sets.  They are just so cute and a treat for anyone to receive.

Thanks for joining me today and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Teeny, Tiny Music Shop by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

I don't think there is a person on the planet that doesn't enjoy music.

I was SO excited when I saw the new

5905 – Music Shop MB.

From the music teachers at my school to the music lovers in my life,
this set is going to be used a LOT!

You need the 5317 – MB Template Dies to create this darling little scene but once
you purchase it, it fits with every single Matchbook set.

I added the rug from the template set and the little stand that the verse is on fits
with all of the verses from every set. Such a great idea!

The 4 new Matchbooks can be purchased individually or as a bundle to save you money.

It's Tee Time! by Janet

Hello and happy June 1st! It's definitely summer and once again I get to bring you one of my favorite card lines, the Matchbook! These little cards are so precious. They may be tiny but the details in them are huge! Case in point is the new MB Golf set. This so looks like your favorite golf shop. I know a trip to my local golf store makes me practically giddy. I love to look at all the "things." This store certainly lives up to the hype. It has golf equipment, clothing, shoes and many of the most popular accessories. Love it all!

As with all the matchbook sets, you need to have the base card die set  MB Template Dies. Stamp, color and cut out the MB Golf Set. Adhere the pieces inside the base card. You can also choose to add some or all of the other accessories included in the base card set. I added a window, rug, and a pop-up sentiment strip.

Now that it's done, you may wonder how you can package a matchbook card up for delivery? It's easy! Use 5318 MB Envelope Dies. It provides the perfect envelope for the thicker small size of all matchbook cards. The set also includes some decorative shapes such as a tag, heart, flower, etc. so you can customize it just the way you like.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope my card gives you some ideas of your own. Please visit the store to see all the things you need for your card, journal, and tag making projects. Be sure to take a look at all the new releases while you are there. Have a great Saturday!
