Coffee Please by Cheri Burry!

Hello Ai Fans!
This poor guy sure is all tangled up, but rest assured nothing that "a coffee" can't fix! This is the funny "Giraffe" set from the "Zoo Crew" over at Art Impressions!
I am using paper from the Doodlebug "At The Zoo" 6x6 collection. I cut a piece of the paper with a Stitched Border frame and added some enamel dots for a fun element to my card! I also inked all the edges of my paper with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. After I coloured the "Giraffe", I realized he was too tall to use a die cut shape around him for my A2 card size. So I pulled out my trusty Brother Cut N Scan and used the machine to "fussy Cut" around him. Now he it perfectly on my card!

to go, please by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing a card using one of my favorite Ai People... Maude (1238)!  I am not a morning person so I can totally relate to her attitude!  Funny thing is...I enjoy making coffee themed cards but I don't drink it myself!  lol.  The sentiment is from the Giraffe Set (4190)...cracks me up every time I read it!

Here's a close up of Maude.

I carried the theme to the INSIDE of the card with Maude stamped in light brown and a sentiment from the Cathy Caffeine Set (4322).

The elements on this card were originally made for a Card Candy Swap that I had with some stamping friends.  The pieces were all layered and embellished, then adhered to a piece of clear acetate (or use vellum or wax paper) with a removable glue dot.  I thought it would be fun to emboss a background piece as well to slip in the baggie behind the acetate.

This is a 4x6 clear bag with the topper attached.

If you've never made card candy, I would encourage you to give it a try!  It's a great way to trade or share with your friends and so fun to see what you create with the pieces!

Have a great day and… happy stamping!

Giraffe Set by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!
Now, if you're a scrapbooking Mom who has taken your kids to the zoo... chances are you have some giraffe patterned paper kicking around... (raise your hands, you know who you are!).  So when I sat down to make today's card, I thought hmmm... and sure enough, I had not one, but two pieces of giraffe patterned paper!  He was so much fun to colour - here's what I came up with using Giraffe Set (Sku #4190):

A short and sweet post from me today!  There is still time for you to enter our Take a Peek challenge - you can find that post here.  Happy stamping everyone!
