Santa Shake Set by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!

I'm on a Christmas card roll these days... so I've used the fun Santa Shake Set (Sku#4348) to make a 5 1/2" square card with an Action Wobble on the inside:

For me, classic red & green never gets old on holiday cards... and I love the strong contrast provided by the black base.  I carried the papers through to the inside of the card, and Santa's derriere is popped up on an Action Wobble so that his booty shakes when you give it a little flick!  The sentiment is "Jingle Bell ROCK!"

It's time for a new challenge!

We know SO many fun holidays are just around the corner. If you're like us, we're busy trying to prepare so they don't sneak up! Whether it's Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa ... We want to see your beautiful cards now! All your holiday project need is a little SPARKLE (because who doesn't love some sparkle?). Feel free to use glitter, gems, sequins or foil, it's your preference to add a little glitz to you project.

Just one more holiday card by Cheryl Valadez!

Hello, Ai Fans!

I know what you're thinking.  You're saying to yourself "Is she crazy?  Nobody wants to see another holiday card."  And right you are, but hear me out.  If you're like me, you scramble during the November/December timeframe to squeeze in all of your card crafting.  That is, if you even have the time to make cards at all.  

This year, I'm going to take a different approach.  First of all, I'm going to intentionally keep my holiday card list small.  Second of all, I'm going to make one Christmas card each month.  By the time December rolls around, I'll have a dozen cards ready to go!  If I need more, I'll just replicate one of the designs. 

With January quietly tiptoeing by, I decided to get started by using one of the Shake Your Booty stamps.  This one is the Santa Shake set (#4348).  You can find him in the Art Impressions shop along with plenty of other fun images.      

Okay, that's one under my belt, only 11 more to go.

Hello hello Ai friends and happy December!

I can't believe it…  it's just 22 more days until Christmas!  

How about a fun card using the Shake Your Booty Santa Shake set (SKU# 4348)?

I was in the mood for a bit of distressing… So, I used the Whitewash Core'dinations card stock, embossed with embossing folder and sand to create the background.  For the Santa, I colored him with Copic markers, then cut him out, and adhered with foam dots.

I added Santa's 'booty' to the back side of the card and adhered with the wobble for some action!

And here is the inside of the card.  

Viola!  I hope you like it and have a fabulous day!
