Thanks a-latte by Janet

I'm so happy to be back after a nice holiday break! I'm super excited to share my creations with you in 2023. I hope I will inspire you to try some new things or give you ideas of what to do with Ai products you already own.

A lot of us have thank you cards to do after the holidays and sometimes we want to give something extra to express your appreciation. To help with that I created two examples of gift card holders made with Ai Die and Stamp Sets.

I started by choosing my papers and then I created the pieces needed to complete the holders with the products shown below:

5344 - Envelope GCH Set
Gift Card Envelope Die

Cup Sleeves from kraft and brown & white polka dot cardstock
Straw and Tag with Heart
Scallop and Circle

Thanks & Thanks a-latte Sentiment
Colored Coffee Cup Stamp

Once all the pieces were completed, I assembled them. The holders are simple and fast to make but they look like you slaved over them! It's great to wow your recipients.

Thanks for joining me today as we get our blog started again with inspiration for the new year and beyond. Visit the Ai Store for all you card making supplies.

Happy Creating!

The Backyard Boss is my HERO! by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing two cards that I made using Art Impressions
4377 – Backyard Boss set from the Father's Day Heroes line.

My daughter just graduated from high school and we had her party last Sunday.  My brother-in-law flew in on Thursday and spent his entire time here helping us out to prepare for the party.

I made him this thank you card and we're going to get him a gift card and include it in this card when I mail it.

I made a second version that's similar but not a thank you card. This one could be used for Father's Day, a birthday or just because!

I used the same colors on both characters but I feel like the different papers made them look quite different.

To the Backyard Boss...you're my hero!

Thanks a Sloth! by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing another thank you card that I made for my daughter's scholarship wins.

For my card I used 5002 – Sloth-some Set from the Funny Farm line.

I embossed the white cardstock and then used green water color pencils to color them. Next I added some stickles to add some sparkle.

I used one of the verses from the set on the inside along with a die cut branch with leaves.

You're one in a Melon! by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a thank you card with you.
Caution...bragging mom moment! lol!  My daughter won several scholarships at Senior Award night and I need to make a thank you card for each individual/organization that gave her money.

For one of the cards I used 4970 – Produce Stand MTF from Art Impressions.

Although this set is meant to be a Tri-fold card I only made it 2 layers since I needed 7 cards. I couldn't spend TOO much time on one card.  I still think it's quite special and the recipient will appreciate it!  The photo above shows the awning closed.  You then open the "window" to show the sweet little raccoon inside the card.

Then, you open it up and you can see the little guy that you got the sneak preview of.  I made this card for a woman named Melanie ... because she gave my daughter an award for digital art ... and ...she's one in a MELON... get it?? "Melon-ie"??  Cheesy, I know!

Flaunt It! by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing my last dance teacher card.
This card went to the owner Miss Nicky.

This year they had a dance called Red Lips that they won many awards for so I did the Lips prop in red glitter.  The girls also wore red glitter on their lips.  My girly is the second in from the right.  I wish you could see their lips better.  They looked SO cool!
