Happy 60th Birthday! Card by Tasha

Happy Friday Art Impressions Friends!

Tasha here sharing a card inspired by the current Milestone Birthday Challenge. I love making birthday cards, but there is something extra special about celebrating a milestone birthday. For my project I used the SC0680-Spare Me Stamp Set to create a masculine 60th Birthday card; I love this bowling theme!

I started by stamping the bowler with black hybrid ink and colored him with Copic Markers. To frame the image, I cute an oval and used yellow Distress Oxide ink around the edges to bring in more color and a golden glow.

For the number 60, I used the 5911-Large Number Die Set and cut the numbers out twice to raise it up a bit. I used regular card stock for the bottom layer and added the gold glitter paper to the top. I thought the gold coordinated well with the other colors used and added a nice pop of sparkle.

The sentiment was also included in this stamp set and is the perfect size to add under the bowler. I also added layers of card stock and gold glitter to give a more finished look.

Lastly, I attached layers of teal, white, and dark teal card stock and a piece of checker pattern paper. These colors give the card a retro look, and I love the teal, black and white color combination!

Thank you for checking out today's card and I hope you will join in the challenge!

You're Incredi-Bowl by Niccole Kulig

Hi Ai fans!

I am stopping by today to share a quick card I made using the Incredibowl set from Art Impressions.  I think it is so cute.  If you love to bowl this is a must have stamp for you.

Aren't they cute? So much so I had to make two.

I added a thin border around my little lady.  I wanted to make her stand out a bit more.

For this lady I changed up her headband and left off the border around her.  I put her on the opposite side of the card as well. I also put my colored paper on opposite as well.

I absolutely love enamel dots.  They add so much to the card with little effort.

Here you can see both the cards together once again.  I love that this card uses minimal supplies and that you can change it out for items you have on hand.  Perfect for the beginner card maker. Run over to Art Impressions and get your Incredibowl set today and start creating!

Time to Bowl! by Kerry

Hello Ai friends and happy Monday!

Hope all of you had a fabulous weekend and ready for another great week!  Over the weekend, my family and I had an awesome time bowling.  So, I figured using the new Ai Michaels set called Spare Me is totally perfect!

I decided to create a 'slow motion' effect.  So, I stamped the cool bowling guy a few times, then fussy out them, and adhered with foam tape to create some dimension.

strike up some fun by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing another card using one of the NEW Ai sets exclusive to Michael’s!  This set is called Spare Me (SCO680) .

I have to confess...this card almost went into the trash. lol.  I recently wanted to do a black & white card with some pop of color but with the images I was using, my card looked just awful!  But when I pulled out this new Michael's set, hmm... the black & white was perfect for the bowling theme!

I'm not sure if the look on his face shows that he's having fun... or stressing out because he is behind in the game.  lol.

The new Michael's clear sets are definitely a must have!  Have a great day and… happy stamping!
