The Possumbilities Are Endless by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the new Possum stamp set from Art Impressions.

I started with some kraft card stock for my card base.  I trimmed my white panel with a frame of black around it to make the kraft and white paper pop.
I stamped my Possum on the bottom right corner of the white panel.  I Copic colored him.  I added a shadow with my Copics to give him a little dimension.
I finished my card off with some crystal gems.  I arranged them in a swirl.  I thought it was fitting with my sentiment ... "The Possumbilities are Endless."
Here is one more look at the finished card.
Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little time with me.  Make sure you come back soon to the Ai blog and see what the team has been up to.

Dance It Out by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Dance It Out stamp set from Art Impressions.

I started by stamping my sentiment and cutting it out with the Flag Double Stitched Dies.  I love the banners you can make with these dies.  I layered the sentiment to give it a more polished look.

For my card I used a gray card base.  I layered my white panel on top and stamped my dancing gentleman towards the left of the card.  I Copic colored him.  I added a shadow to give him some depth.

I finished my card off by attaching my banner to the right side of the card and randomly adding some black Nuvo Drops. Below is another look at the finished card.

Have An Awesome Possum Birthday by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Possum stamp set from Art Impressions.

I started with using a stencil from my stash and ink blended the background in a yellow and light pink color.

I Copic colored my Possum image and fussy cut her out. I raised her up with foam tape on the center of my card.  I added Wink Of Stella to my yellow balloon to make it sparkle.

I stamped my sentiment in the center of the bottom portion of my card base.  I finished it off with some white Nuvo Drops.  I really love the softness of this card.

Here is one more look at the finished card.

Feel Better Soon by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Doggy Kisses stamp set from Art Impressions.

I started by Copic coloring my wiener dog image. I trimmed him in a rectangle and added a frame in chocolate paper.

I used the same chocolate card stock for my card base and I added some patter paper I had in my stash that had paw prints.  I added my wiener dog image to the top at an angle to give it some depth.

I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with my Oval Double Stitched Dies.  I added a frame to it with the came chocolate card stock.  I finished it off with some clear jewels.

Here is one more look at the finished card.

Run Wild Mr. Handstand by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Dance It Out stamp set from Art Impressions.

I started with a teal card base.  I added a black piece of card stock trimmed smaller than the teal.  I trimmed my white piece smaller than the black so it would look nice and polished.  On my white piece I masked off a line so I could make the sky and grass.  I tilted the grass a tiny bit so when my guy was doing his handstand it would look more realistic.

I faded out the  sky so I could add my sentiment ... "Over the hill and STILL running wild!" I placed the sentiment framed out in the upper left corner of the card.

I added some clear confetti to give some pop to the card.  I added my fussy cut gentleman to my card.  He fit perfectly upside down so he was "running wild" doing a handstand.  I love when you can change a stamped image up a little.

Here is one more look at the full card.

Happy Birthday by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Birthday Cake stamp set from Art Impressions.

I stamped my cake image and Copic Colored it.  I fussy cut it out.  I like that the cake has "Happy Birthday" stamped on it so I don't need to add a sentiment.  The cake can be my focal point.
I wanted my card to have a black base. I think it will really make my stenciled portion pop.  I used a stencil from my stash to distress some red ink on. I added black Nuvo Drops around the card for some dimension.
I raised my cake image up with foam tape.  I love adding foam tape to make the stamped images stand out even more than they already do.
Here is one more look at the finished card.

Butterfly Kisses by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Butterfly stamp set from Art Impressions.

I started by using a scrap piece of paper to make my purple background paper.  I wanted it to match perfectly to my butterflies so I used my V17 Copic Marker to make the bottom layer.  Did you notice from the picture that I used a previously die cut piece of paper?  Since it is behind my top layer no one is the wiser.  Use up those scraps!!
On my Yupo paper I used my Ranger Alcohol Inks to create this whispy background.  I love how it makes the butterflies look like they are dancing across the paper.  This might be one of my favorite cards I have made in a long time.
I added the butterflies to the front with glue.  Some of them I glued flat and some I only glued the bodies so I could bend the butterfly wings to make them look like they are flying. And that is it ... no sentiment needed.  It is a wonderful all occasion card (well in my opinion) LOL
Here is one more look at the finished card.

Get Your Happy On by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Be Happy Laugh Lines stamp set from Art Impressions

I started by Copic coloring my "Happy Lady". I fussy cut her out and set her aside so I could add her last.

I have three layers of framed pieces to my card.  Each layer has a base of black card stock.  The bottom two layers have pattern paper on top of the black card stock.  The top layer has a white panel where my lady will eventually go..

Here they are all layered together with the sentiment added to the top layer.  It says "Get Your Happy On!

Now just to finish it off by adding my lady to the top.

Here is one more look at the finished card. I thought it had enough going on with without adding any embellishments.

Thinking of You Roses by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Roses stamp set from Art Impressions sold exclusively at Scrapbook.com.
Isn't this a beautiful image of a bouquet of roses?  I like that takes up most of a card front without being overpowering.
I started by trimming my Strathmore Watercolor paper to 4.25" x 4.25" and heat embossing my roses.  I used my Color Bursts to watercolor the roses.  I then added it to my Neenah Desert Storm card base, which I trimmed so I could angle my watercolor piece and have it still fit in an A2 envelope. I glued it to my base.
I wanted to keep my sentiment rather vague so it could be used for a multitude of occasions.  This "Thinking of You" stamp from the set fit in the corner perfectly.  I used my rectangle die to cut out the hunter green paper and frame my roses
Here is one more look at the finished card.  I love the look of the loose watercolor.  I like the organic feel it gives the roses

Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little time with me.  Make sure you come back soon to the Ai blog and see what the team has been up to.

No Copics used this time, only Color Bursts.

Until next time ... Hugs & inky fingers!
