Party Animal! by Janet

I'm celebrating a birthday with my card today. We are also a little more than half way through the current Ai Challenge - Furry Friends. We hope you upload your cards featuring one of your favorite animals. With so many to choose from, this one should be no problem at all! Just link your card up to the Furry Friends Challenge post and see if you win. It's a lot of fun to participate in!

My card features a cute giraffe. I've always loved giraffes and this one is all set to celebrate with a banner, party hat, and balloons. He is definitely stealing the show on this card! He is found in the 5400 - Baby Critters Set. This set includes dies so it's a cinch to cut the animals and party accessories out if you prefer that over staging them on as a one layer scene. I like cutting the animals out because you can make them pop on foam tape which gives the card a lot of dimension and interest.

I stamped the giraffe and colored him with Copic markers. I chose to color the pennants and balloons in blue and red. His hat follows the same theme. The set has star ornaments but I turned them around and made them part of the balloon bouquet instead. I used the 6048 Scalloped Rectangle Die on a leaf design from 6025 Floral Shop PP. I also used the 5724 Nested Rectangle Set to cut out the green, gold, and pink mats for the card. Finally I stamped a sentiment from the set on a piece of white cardstock. This guy is certainly ready to give it his all to party with the guest of honor!

Thanks for stopping by and spending time with me and Art Impressions today. Please visit the Ai store to pick up your favorite stamps, dies, papers, accessories, and supplies, including all the supplies I used in this card.

Happy Crafting!

Time to Dance! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends.

Tasha here sharing a birthday card featuring the 6176-Exclusive Ballet Bear stamp. I have been loving all the little Ai bear stamps lately and this ballet bear is perfect for a birthday card. To make my project more unique, I stamped the bear three times and created a stage; I love their colorful tutus!

For the coloring I used Copic Markers and drew the background with a black liner pen. I wanted a spotlight on each dancer, so I used a variety of yellow markers to look like lights were shining down on the them; I also used the same shades on the tiny stars so everything blends together nicely.

Lastly, I attached gold glitter paper for sparkle, layers of purple and pink card stock, and a piece of Art Impression pattern paper. I thought the star print coordinated with the stars around the bears. I also stamped "To the Birthday Girl" with purple ink on a banner to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed this card and are having a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Gnomie! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a cheerful birthday card inspired by the current Floral Frenzy Challenge. I couldn't resist pairing colorful spring tulips with one of the adorable garden gnomes for a fun birthday design.

I started by stamping the sweet gnome from the 5000-Gotta Garden Stamp Set (Retired) and surrounded him with beautiful tulips from the 6220-Sing to the Lord Set. I colored everything with Copic markers, keeping the flowers bright with shades of purple and orange for a happy spring feel. A soft blue sky and grassy background help bring the scene to life.

To frame the image, I layered it with gold glitter cardstock and added coordinating yellow and orange mats. The pretty floral pattern paper from the 6205-Floral Shop Paper Pack ties all of the colors together while keeping the focus on the stamped scene. I finished the card with a simple Happy Birthday greeting to make it perfect for celebrating someone special.

If you're looking for inspiration, be sure to join the Art Impressions Floral Frenzy Challenge. It's a fun way to pull out your favorite floral stamps and create something beautiful.

Have a wonderful Day!

Royal Birthday Greetings! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a birthday card featuring the 5916 -Woodland Castle Set. I love medieval and fairytale-themed stamps, and this card is perfect for celebrating a little princess or queen on her birthday.

The birthday greeting is from the 5735 -Birthday Sentiment Set, and it was the perfect fit for this design. I kept the center panel simple so the castle could take center stage. A little grass and soft ink blending were all it needed to create a sweet little scene.

To finish the card, I layered silver glitter paper with pink and purple cardstock and added a piece of beautiful Art Impressions floral patterned paper. The purple, white, and pink color combination complements the castle perfectly and adds a fun, whimsical feel.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Beary Happy Birthday! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a fun birthday card featuring the adorable Party Bear Freebie Stamp and 6178-Birthday Wishes Stamp Set. These little freebie bears are so sweet, and this one is perfect for birthday cards or gift tags. I just love his happy smile and festive balloon!

For this little party scene, I stamped the bear first and used masking paper before stenciling the brick wall background. Since pink is one of my favorite colors, I wanted this card to be bright, cheerful, and full of different shades of pink. I also blended pink Distress Oxide Ink around the edges of the center panel to create a soft spotlight effect around the bear.

For the sentiment, I stamped "Happy Birthday" from the 6178-Birthday Wishes Stamp Set. Instead of coloring the letters completely, I used pink Copic markers along the bottom and left the tops white for a simple ombre look. I also added a few white gel pen highlights for a little extra shine.
Lastly, I added layers of pink, orange, and white card stock and a piece of pink plaid pattern paper. I have been really into bright colors lately, and pink and orange always look great together!

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Happy Bee-Day! by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions Friends!

Tasha here sharing a bee-themed birthday card featuring the sweet little Honey Bear Freebie Stamp along with the new 6158-Story Tile Template Die, which has quickly become my new favorite die.

This whole card was inspired by the honey bear. I love all bee-themed items, and once I stamped the little bear image, I thought it would be fun to create a tile card filled with bee-themed elements. The 5925-Honey Bee Set was perfect for this design, and the stamps fit into the tiles beautifully.

To fill the tiles, I stamped honeycomb images to tie everything together and used Distress Oxide Ink to add extra yellow color. The bright yellow really gives the card a cheerful feel.

To finish the design, I added the tile frame cut from honeycomb pattern paper along with layers of gold glitter paper and black cardstock before adhering everything to a white card base.

For the greeting, I stamped "Happy Bee-Day!" and blended yellow ink around the edges to create a soft glow effect on the panel. This set includes several bee-themed greetings, but this one fit nicely into the smaller tile and I really like the script front style.

Lastly, I added the tile frame cut from a honeycomb pattern paper, layers of gold glitter paper, and black card stock to complete the design before adhering it to a white card base.

Thank you for checking out my card today and I hope you are inspired to create a tile card.

Sending Birthday Wishes Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a card created with the new 6178-Birthday Wishes stamp set and 6158-Story Tile Template Die. This set is so festive and I love the piƱata stamp!

For this project, I used the Story Tile Die to cut one piece of white card stock and a piece of colored pattern paper. I colored all of the images with Copic Markers and used Tombow Markers for the flowers. I also used a white gel pen to add little accents to the images and create a fun look to the "Happy Birthday" greeting.

Lastly, I attached a layer of Art Impressions pattern paper, gold glitter for extra sparkle, and deep pink card stock. I also ink blended the edges of each tile to add more color. I like the way the golden color gives a warm glow around the stamped images.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and are inspired to create a fun tile card!

A Wildly Fun Birthday Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a new birthday card featuring the cute lion from the Art Impressions 5400-Birthday Critters Set.

This cheerful little guy felt perfect for a fun and colorful birthday design. I started with an orange background created using alcohol ink blending, then cut it with the 5061-Square Double Stitched Dies. I really love the stitched pattern because it adds texture without overpowering the design. To make the card feel extra festive, I added two stamped gift box images along with a playful star pattern paper that brings in even more birthday energy.

For the layers, I used the 6047-Scalloped Square Dies to cut white and olive green paper. The scalloped design on the large square adds so much detail and helps frame the center image beautifully. To finish things off, I attached a Happy Birthday stamped mini banner and added one final paper layer in a golden color to coordinate with the orange background and pull everything together. This card was so much fun to create and I hope it brings a smile to someone on their special day.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you are having a great day!

Bright and Happy Birthday Card by Tasha

Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a birthday card inspired by the current Button Up Challenge.

For this card I used two cute animal stamps from the 5400 Baby Critters Set. I love coloring little animal characters and this card totally looks like they are ready for a birthday celebration.

To go with the button challenge theme, I added a flower with a button in the middle. The orange color and shape reminded me of the sun and I love that pop of color.

Lastly, I added layers of pink and white card stock along with a polka dot pattern paper to complete the design.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and are having a great day.

Happy Birthday Old Buck! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here, and today I’m sharing a new masculine card created with the fun 5406-Mr. Set. I just love the deer-themed hat; it’s such a great focal point for a sportsman-inspired birthday card!

To start, I built a frame and wooden background with patterned paper from the 6072 – Father’s Day Paper Pack. The tan and green shades in this collection are so warm and rustic, perfect for a guy card.

For the sentiment, I stamped “Happy Birthday Old Buck” on white cardstock, layered it with tan, and used two circle punches to create a bold greeting. A little foam tape added just the right amount of dimension.

To finish everything off, I layered off-white, tan, and brown cardstock to tie in all the colors from the center panel. I love how the earthy tones and fun greeting make this card both masculine and playful!

Time to Par Tee! Card by Tasha

Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the current Art Impressions Sports & Leisure Challenge. For this project, I used the 4902-Par-Tee Golfers Set and the 5062-Rounded Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies to create a fun golf-themed design.

I stamped the golfer lady with black ink and colored her outfit in pink Copic shades; perfect for a sunny day at the country club! The background features fluffy stenciled clouds and green grass (my favorite combo to make!). To frame the scene, I layered white and pink cardstock with plaid paper and added a pop of gold glitter.

To finish the card, I stamped “Let’s...Par Tee!” in pink ink and die-cut it with a rounded rectangle before popping it up with foam tape. I also attached two clear rhinestones to her skirt for extra sparkle. Such a fun way to celebrate the challenge theme!

I hope you enjoyed today's card and will join in the Sports & Leisure Challenge!

Hatty Birthday! Card by Tasha

Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a new shaker card featuring the fun 5404-Miss Set. I love making birthday cards, and adding a shaker element makes it feel extra festive and special!

To start, I stamped the lady and her birthday hat with black hybrid ink and colored them with Copic Markers. The coordinating dies included in this set made cutting the images quick and easy; and I love that the hat die is designed to fit perfectly on top of her head!

For the shaker, I used the 5063-Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies along with foam tape to create a raised frame. I added a piece of “Happy Birthday” patterned paper for the background and filled it with pretty sequins before sealing it up. On the acetate, I stamped “Hatty Birthday” and added a layer of silver glitter paper for extra sparkle.

To finish the card, I layered gray, white, and pink cardstock with more glitter paper for a coordinated look. A few white enamel dots were the perfect final touch to complete this fun, celebratory design.

Sweet Flower & Bug Birthday Card by Janet

Art Impressions holds a special place in many crafters' hearts, famous for Bonnie's charming stamps! While those classics are always a joy, the recent additions of dies to their lineup have been a fantastic evolution. Thinking back, I started my cardmaking journey with paper piecing. While I later fell in love with stamping, the ease of paper piecing with dies still brings me so much creative enjoyment.

That's why I was instantly smitten with one of their newest releases: the adorable 6041 - Flower & Bug Dies! This set is pure charm, creating a sweet flower with a stem and even a little tag. But the real stars are undoubtedly the chubby bee and the cheerful ladybug – they're just too cute! I knew this set would be perfect for an interactive card, so I decided to create a 3D slider card! The magic happens when you open it – the flower and those darling insects pop right up for a delightful surprise!

I created the interactive slider base, using several patterns from the 5955 - Encouragement PP (Paper Pack). Then, I built the pop-up scene, starting with a simple grassy base. I assembled the flower from the die set and tucked it into the grass, along with the sweet ladybug. One of the bees was strategically attached at the fold to ensure it pops up when the card is opened. For a touch of whimsy, I added another bee "floating" above the flower, secured with a strip of acetate hidden behind the bloom!

I stamped a sweet sentiment onto the tag die-cut using a phrase from the 5866 - Mini Birthday Sentiment Set and tucked it behind the flower so it peeks out. To add a little sparkle and texture, I applied Stickles to the center of the flower and finished the base off with a loop of baker's twine tied in a bow, accented with a gem.

I had so much fun creating this interactive card with the 6041 - Flower & Bug Dies! This set is incredibly versatile and would be a wonderful addition to any Art Impressions collection.

If you're ready to add this charming set (or any other crafty goodies!) to your stash, be sure to visit the Ai Store this weekend. They have everything you need – stamps, dies, papers, and accessories – to bring your creative ideas to life!
