Birthday invitation cards

I made these cards for my son´s birthday-party few years ago. I think Art Impressions Fronts&Backs- stamps are perfect choice cards like these! This Birthday Beagle is my favorite:)

As Requested... A Lovely Dress Tutorial!

A faithful reader wanted to know how I made this dress card... well... ask and ye shall receive!

First, I stamped the skirt onto a piece of scrap paper. Art Impressions makes this skirt stamp so this card is super simple and really easy to make!

Next, I cut it out and scored the pleats and folded them .There are a few ways to fold the pleats, it is really fun to let creativity be your guide.

I stamped the top of the dress onto the backside of glitter paper and cut it out. I then adhered the top (also a stamp from Art Impressions) onto my background and then I added some liquid pearls for the belt.

I adhered the skirt and dabbed a little bit of zig 2 way glue onto my background where the pleats meet to keep them in place and at the top of my post is the finished card! thanks for poppin' by and if you have any questions, please ask! Well ladies... Here we are at Art Impressions Challenge number 5... how time flies!

This week, in honor of the upcoming SPRING... the challenge is to use FLOWERS!

This is card for happy couple, they had both 60-years birthday-party and 40 years anniversary party in the same time, so I put "160" to card :) . Text is in finnish, and it´s "Congratulations for two of you" in english .

I made this card today, and when it was ready, I wonder, something was missing..

hmm.. Then I figured out: Glossy accents:) I put it a little bit to the Girlfriends sunglasses and to the drinking glasses, and I think now it is ready!

Make a Perfect Bow using a Simple Template

Here's very simple way to make beautiful bows.


You'll need "bow machine"

The plastic one is quite slippery and not very easy to make bows, so I made smaller one with thick cardboard and it's not so slippery.

Select ribbon

 
spin the ribbon around

hmm... words are missing, hope you understand from my pictures....

Make a knot


Tighten the knot

Turn around and slide the bow off.

Cut ribbon heads

Attach to ribbon or straight to your creation.

This is a card for a friend (text is in Finnish.. :)

These lovely friends, Lucy and Trudy, are perfect choice for Valentines Day card. Please notice, that AI have two or even three sizes most of the Golden Oldies-stamps!! Is this great or what! You can find mini Lucy and Trudy here:) I usually like to use big images in my card, because basic-style in my cards is simple, and I like that image is the main-subject in my cards. But then when I want put much flowers or diffrend kind of paper or something like that to my card, I like use smaller images!

A Funny Valentine...

I LOVE this stamp from Art Impressions...Well, by now you should know that I love them all!!! I love how happy the cat looks and the fact that I think the dog is really enjoying all of that wonderful affection!!!

The sentiment is from Art Impressions too and the font is perfect for this fun LOVING little pair! After I stamped the image, I colored it in with Copic markers.I cut that darling duo out and adhered it to a diecut shape and then I put it all onto my card! Quick, easy and PRECIOUS!!!
