Beary Happy Birthday! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a fun birthday card featuring the adorable Party Bear Freebie Stamp and 6178-Birthday Wishes Stamp Set. These little freebie bears are so sweet, and this one is perfect for birthday cards or gift tags. I just love his happy smile and festive balloon!

For this little party scene, I stamped the bear first and used masking paper before stenciling the brick wall background. Since pink is one of my favorite colors, I wanted this card to be bright, cheerful, and full of different shades of pink. I also blended pink Distress Oxide Ink around the edges of the center panel to create a soft spotlight effect around the bear.

For the sentiment, I stamped "Happy Birthday" from the 6178-Birthday Wishes Stamp Set. Instead of coloring the letters completely, I used pink Copic markers along the bottom and left the tops white for a simple ombre look. I also added a few white gel pen highlights for a little extra shine.
Lastly, I added layers of pink, orange, and white card stock and a piece of pink plaid pattern paper. I have been really into bright colors lately, and pink and orange always look great together!

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Rain or Shine by Dori Mendiola

 Happy Thursday AI Friends!

Have you entered the latest blog challenge - "I See Right Through You"?  Anything that you can "see through" will qualify (ie windows, globes, shakers, etc.).  Make sure to enter for a chance to win a free stamp set.

I chose to use two of the freebie bears along with the fence and daisies from the #5935 - Fairytale houses.  I made an acetate window with raindrops for the front with the umbrella freebie bear and then a sunshine scene on the inside with the freebie holding a daisy.

I stamped the bears and daisies with memento black ink and colored with my copic markers listed below.  I then fussy cut the bears and used the coordinating dies with the daisies.
To create the raindrop window, I inked blended two panels the same.  I used the MFT Falling From the Clouds die set.  I then cut a piece of acetate large enough to fit the opening.  I made some score marks diagonally and then dropped some glossy accents onto the acetate along the score marks to resemble rain.  Let the glossy accents dry and then glue to the back side of the opening.  I cut another window frame to cover the acetate edges on the inside.

I decorated the inside with the daisies, fence, sun and bear.  I shut the front of the card and adhered the rain bear to cover the daisy bear from the front.  I also placed clouds over the front to cover the sun on the inside.  The daisies will be seen through the window.  I added a few little white hearts to the corners and grass to the bottom of the fence posts.  The front sentiment is from the #5797 - Little Things Sentiments and the inside sentiment was just made up to fit the scene.

That's it for me today!  Hope you enjoyed!
Make sure to play along and enter the blog challenge for a chance to win a free stamp set.

Bee Happy! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions Friends!
Tasha here sharing a fun new card featuring the Freebie-Honey Bear and 6047-Scalloped Square Dies. I love bee-themed cards and this sweet stamp is perfect for Spring!
To create this card, I stamped the little bear on to a stitched square before ink blending the edges to bring in more color. I was inspired by the colors of the bee, so I added layers of black card stock, yellow plaid pattern paper, and used white for the largest scalloped frame. I love how the bright white shows the pretty edge and separates the darker colors.

For the greeting, I stamped "Bee Happy!" from the 5925-Honey Bee Set. This set has several greetings that can be used for year-round cards and projects. I also used two scalloped round dies to frame the greeting and coordinate with the scalloped squares.
Lastly, I attached layers of dark yellow and black card stock and another piece of pattern paper and attached three gold dots to complete the design.

Freebie Bears Are Here! by Janet

Have you noticed the newest Bear Freebies at Art Impressions? They are truly adorable! I'm always a fan of the freebies but these are special. You can't buy them though. One is included in every order you place over $30. The beauty of it is that you get to choose which one you want! These stamps are the same great quality as all of Ai's polymer stamps too. All in all, they are a great perk for being a loyal shopper of Art Impressions.

There are many ways you can use these stamps but today, I've used three of them to make cute little 3 x 3 note cards. They are 6170 - Honey Bear, 6168 - Sundae Bear, and 6165 - Rainy Bear.

These started by making the card base. Each one measure 3" x 6" and scored at 3". On top of the card base, I cut a yellow square that leaves a 1/8" inch border all around the card using 5725 - Nested Square Dies. Then I cut Copic friendly cardstock with one of the 5061 - Square Double Stitched Dies.

The next step is stamping on the white cardstock and picking your favorite markers, pencils or paint to color them. Once mine were all done, I centered each panel on top of the yellow mat. Then I added two clear enamel dots to decorate them.

These were super fun to work with. Grab one at the store with your next order. Then get another one every time you reach a $30 order.

Thanks for joining me on the blog today. As always, find your favorite stamps, dies, papers, and accessories at the Ai Store!

Happy Crafting!
