Happy Monday! I hope this finds you well and enjoying this wonderful fall weather! I always love it when I can turn off the air conditioning and open up the windows and doors to let that cool fall air into the house! It's getting quite chilly at night though, and we have gotten some good frosts and freezes here in Reno. You know I'm getting ready to ask you if you've entered the Tres Chic challenge going on right now, right? LOL!  You've got just a few more days to enter to win a free stamp set of your choice! Who doesn't love getting what you want for free??!!  So I made this card for this challenge using the wonderful 5350 Animal Nativity Set, one of my favorite Christmsas stamp sets! I stamped the images onto Copic friendly paper and colored them with Copic markers which are listed below. To frame the scene, I used 5768 Decorative Journal Page Set 1. I love the lacy look. The paper is from 5812 Christmas S2 PP. See links to products used below.

Baby Boy Journal pages 11 and 12 by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing pages 11 and 12 of my Baby Boy Journal.

This time it's all about his first holidays!

For Halloween he was a pirate!

How cute is this little guy?!

I decorated both the front and back of the little frame tag and used the journal die clasps as a decorative element.

Then we're onto his first Christmas.
I used Dr. PH Martin's bleed proof white to make the snow.

I have 4 pages left to share. 2 are complete and 2 are not.

If I can get the last two finished, I'll share all 4 next Sunday.  If not, I'll just share the two finished ones.

Barnyard Baby Card by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans! 

My friend requested a barnyard themed baby shower card so
I decided to combine a few sets to create this card.  I wanted to
use animals that were a little more "babyish" than realistic.

The barn, chick and fences are all from  5180 – Barnyard Animal Cubbies.
The precious donkey is from 5350 – Animal Nativity Set and the little lamb peeking out or the door is from 5398 – Sheep Set.

Both the verses on the front and on the inside are from 5184 – Baby Boy Set.
I used one of the wood frames from 5269 – Wood Frames Set to frame a couple more animals from the Cubbies set.

The doors all really open and are cut with the coordinating die that comes with the set.

I hope you're inspired to mix and match some sets to personalize a card for someone special!

Spring Chicken Birthday Card by Jil Lebel

 

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Spring Chicken stamp set for another fun Birthday Card

I started by stamping the image onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers.  The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post.  I stamped the hay stamp from the Animal Nativity Set. several times at the feet of the chicken using Coffee, Orange Blossom and Sunflower Archival ink. I then cut the image out with Spellbinders Labels 4.

The card base is Kraft cardstock.  I stamped it with the chicken tracks using Coffee Archival ink.  I then added a layer of patterned paper that was cut with the Rounded Rectangle A2 Double Stitched dies.  I then added the colored layer over it with foam tape.

Copic Colors Used:

White - C3, C0

Brown - E35, E33, E31

Tan - Y17, E31, E30

Red - R27, R05

Rose - R85, R83, R81

Green - YG07, YG06. YG01

Yellow - Y17, Y11
