Happy BAAAday to Ewe! by Sharon Caudle

Hello AI Fans!!

I've got a tag for you today that I made for the Tag You're It Challenge going on right now on the blog! I love making tags, and they elevate a package or gift bag to the absolute next level, don't you think? If you know me, you know how much I love whimsical, bright, fun projects, so that's usually the way I lean when I create. For this tag, I used 5132 Tag Stitched Dies (I cut three of them and glued them together so the tag would be nice and sturdy), 5398 Sheep Set, 5346 Birdhouse Cubbies (for the bird flying to the right), 5100 Woodland Tree Cubbies (for the bird flying to the left), and 4967 WC Fence Dies. The images are stamped onto Cryogen paper and then colored with Copic markers (the markers I used are listed below).  I inked the background with distress inks, added a sun with a few clouds and called her done!

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit! Until next time - hope you stay crafty!

Copics used:

E51, E53, E97
BG11, BG13, BG15, BG18

For a Special Friend Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the Ai #350 "Don't Fence Me In" Challenge! To go with the theme, I used the new 5719-FB Fence & Window Die Set to make a cute little scene with one of the sheep stamps from the 5398-Sheep Set.

For the background, I layered pretty purple and pink paper and added a purple glitter paper for extra sparkle. I think the purple and blue colors work well with the pops if yellow. I also colored the sheep's balloon and party hat to match. Doesn't he just look too cute!

Lastly, I stamped "For a Special Friend" from the 5734-Friend Sentiment Set to complete the card and added little white accents with my gel pen. I love how the fence worked looks this stamp!

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you all are having a wonderful day!

Barnyard Baby Card by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

My friend requested a barnyard themed baby shower card so
I decided to combine a few sets to create this card.  I wanted to
use animals that were a little more "babyish" than realistic.

The barn, chick and fences are all from  5180 – Barnyard Animal Cubbies.
The precious donkey is from 5350 – Animal Nativity Set and the little lamb peeking out or the door is from 5398 – Sheep Set.

Both the verses on the front and on the inside are from 5184 – Baby Boy Set.
I used one of the wood frames from 5269 – Wood Frames Set to frame a couple more animals from the Cubbies set.

The doors all really open and are cut with the coordinating die that comes with the set.

I hope you're inspired to mix and match some sets to personalize a card for someone special!
Have a great weekend everyone.

New Challenge! Cloudy with a Chance...#309

 Hello Ai fans!

We just wrapped up our Funky Fold challenge so it's time for a new one!

It's looking like it's Cloudy with a Chance...

Today we're taking our inspiration from Bri!

Hello Ai fans - Bri here! I am excited to introduce this new "Cloudy With a Chance Of.." challenge to you! This challenge is SO simple, all you have to do is create a project with clouds! My challenge creation is a birthday card featuring the Sheep Set. The Sheep Set is part of Ai's Funny Farm collection. For more details on this creation keep reading below! This project is featured on my personal blog too, check it out here

For this clean and simple card, I used a plain white card base. Next, I added three simple panels of clouds that I made using Broken China Distress Oxide ink and a Cloud Builder stencil. This way it looks like the sheep is floating away into the clouds with the balloon. I colored the sheep image with my Copic markers and I stamped the birthday sentiment with pigment black ink. Finally, I used color coordinating sequins to embellish the card front.

Hope this creation inspires you for our latest challenge!

Copic Markers Used:

I Love Ewe Card by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri here! Today, I am sharing a clean and simple card featuring the new Sheep Set, which is part of Ai's Funny Farm collection. Check out the rest of the 2021 releases here. This card is featured on my personal blog today, check it out here

First, I ink blended with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink and a Cloud stencil to create the cloud filled design. Next, I die cut the Stitched Rectangle and Stitched Circle out of the cloud stenciled paper. I stamped the sentiments with black pigment ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder onto the die cuts.

I die cut the grass borders and distressed the pieces with Mowed Lawn Distress ink. I die cute the grassy pieces with the Stitched Circle and aligned them with the cloud Stitched Circle. To finish the background, I die cut the fence pieces with the WC Fence die.

To color the sheep I used my Copic markers. I used W0's to color the wool and feet, V0's for the bow, and E40's for the face and ears. I also used a white gel pen to add some extra detail to the colored image.

Ewe Fabulous Card by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri here! Today, I am sharing a bea-ewe-tiful card that features the new Sheep Set. This card is featured on my personal blog today, check it out here

To color the sheep I used my Copic markers. I used BV00's to color the wool, YR20's for the gold crown and shoes, and E40's for the face and legs. I used RV11 to add color to the sheep's cheeks. I also used a white gel pen to add some extra detail to the colored image.

To create the background, I first ink blended the color ombre with Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac, and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide inks. Then, I used the Confetti Stencil from Kindred Stamps with Gold Deco Foil and Transfer Gel Duo from Thermoweb to add the confetti shine.

I used gold embossing powder to heat emboss the sentiment onto the strip I die cut with the Flag Double Stitched Dies. I die cut the stitched circles with the Circle Double Stitched Dies and finished the card by adding some sequins.

Happy Baaa'thday Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a birthday card created with the new Funny Farm Sheep Set! I have been having so much fun creating with these cute sheep stamps and this trio makes the perfect celebration card!

The background with created with a snow stencil and Distress Oxide Inks. By using bright colors of ink, the snow looks like confetti and gives a festive look to the background.

The sentiment "Happy Baaa'thday to Ewe" was stamped with Black ink on to a coordinating piece of stenciled paper. I also attached a piece of light blue glitter paper to add sparkle; I love glitter!

To complete the card, I used foam tape to attach the little sheep and added several teal enamel dots. I think this card is so cheerful and I can not wait to send send it out!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Fabulous Ewe! by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Did you see the new release a few days ago over at Art Impressions?
There are new Funny Farm sets!

I used Sheep Set.  This set has so many fun images and sentiments!
It also comes with dies so you don't need to waste time fussy cutting everything.

When you unwrap the rope on the door handle it
reveals the sassy sheep inside the barn.

Every girl should have a set of heals like she does!  And of course...a crown!

My card goes along with the latest challenge at Ai.

I Wool Always Love You!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a card created with the new Funny Farm Sheep Set!

I wanted the lamb to be surrounded by flowers and the pretty wreath from the Floral Invites set worked perfectly! The sweet lamb looks so happy, doesn't it just make you smile!

To give a watercolor appearance, I stamped with Inkon3 Fadeout Ink and colored with Copic Markers. This is a fun technique that really gives your stamped images a different look.

The sentiment was embossed with white on deep orange cardstock and I used gold glitter paper to add sparkle. I also used the same orange and gold glitter paper for the card layers before attaching it to an A2 sized card base.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed a peek at the new Sheep Set!

Have a wonderful day!
