Girlfriend Blend

Good morning everyone...yah...my new girlfriend stamps came...I love them all.  I decided to used "Girlfriend
Blend"  T4136 for my card today. Be sure to check out the new stamps at Art Impressions HERE!
I have used on the the sentiments that go with the image G4144.

I have used my copic pens to color my image, layered my card and added stickles around each layer.  the flower is made from 3 different paper flowers, layered, with a flower brad in the center, I have added stickles to the flower petals and to the brad.  I hope you enjoy the new girlfriend stamp...check them out, they are all fabulous!!

This week, our design team created cards from our new line of "Whoots!" These sweet little owl sets are fun for any occasion and they're just so darn cute! WHOO does love owls? They seem to be everywhere these days! For our weekly challenge, the only theme requirement is to have an owl. Whether paper, punches or stamps, you can let your imagination run wild. Our new line of Whoots are available at a store near you or you can purchase them from our website when they launch April 30!

Challenge 58 - "Thinking of You" or "Make 'Em Laugh" for OWH BLOGHOP

We are excited to host a blog challenge benefiting Operation Write Home. If you haven't heard of this great organization, they send blank handmade greeting cards to U.S. troops overseas so they can write home to their family and loved ones.

Our challenge normally ends on Wednesdays, but we are extending the deadline until Sunday, April 15 to participate in the OWH BLOG HOP! If you just joined us from ScorPal, WELCOME! Your next stop is over to Fiskars. If you'd like to start at the beginning, head to Stars and Stamps Blog.

Here are the guidelines provided by OWH:

1. No Glitter - It is a safety hazard for our heroes. Read more.

2. A2 Sized Cards Only - 4.25" x 5.5" for easier shipping. Read more.

3. Line Dark Cards with Light Cardstock - If a pencil won't show up, add a lighter sheet inside. Read more.

4. Limit Multiples - No more than 100 cards. Read more. 

5. Any Quantity is okay - One, a bunch, or a box full; however we need quality, not quantity. Read more.

6. SOME lumpiness is okay - Our heroes don't have to pay for letter mail, but that doesn't mean we can go wild with layering and embellishments. 

7. DO NOT hand write sentiments - Neither outside or inside. Read more.

8. Use quality supplies - Computer paper, foams, itty bitty stickers and glue sticks don't holdup to the rigors of the battlefront. It's okay to make fewer cards with better supplies - every card counts!

9. Card Themes - Remember who's sending these: adults. No cards to Daddy, no "wish you were here," or party invitations; no explicit images or sentiments. 

10. Absolutely no store-bought - Neither complete cards, NOR cards repurposing parts of them. It endangers our trademark. Read more.

OWH card...

This morning I decided to do another card for OWH.  I have kept my card simple, blank inside so a letter can be written, and no greeting on the outside.
I have colored my image with copics, distressed the edges and added a ribbon. It is a quick, CAS card.

JUST A NOTE !!

Good morning ladies, it is Tuesday again, I hope everyone is haviag a grrreat day! Today I have used L1603 Turtle, I think he is so cute!  You can find him and other cute critters at Art Impressions HERE!

I have used my copics to color Mr. Turtle, looked through my stash and found green papers that went perfect with him.  I had a lot of fun doing this card and I hope you enjoy it.

Wow ladies I can't believe it is Tuesday again.  Well this morning I have chosen Ed Y1903 for my image.  I think he is having a rough time bringing in that fish, he has more line around him than the fish!  Well as you know spring is coming and along with spring comes fishing..yes..men love fishing, I can't imagine why, they put  a slippery dirty worm on the hook, then take of a slippery, slimy fish!  YUK!  Ed is from the Front and Back series,you will find so many great images there, you must check them all out.

The Gossip Club

Happy Tuesday everyone...this morning I have done a Clean and Simple card using ..The Gossip Card...  T-1522  You can find them in the Golden Oldies series at Art Impressions.

I have colored by image with Prisma pencils and OMS added a few gems to the rings and earrings  and a bit of glaze to the teacups.  This is a great image to send to your girlfriends.
