Let the shenanigans begin! by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Monday!

Today I am sharing a card using one of the Ai Store Exclusive sets. Here I used the SC0795- Road Trip set which can be found at Michael's stores or in the Ai store online. When I first saw the 5006- Sham-rock Set, I not only loved the St. Patrick's images but I knew I could get double duty with the set by pairing this awesome sentiment with the Girlfriends sets! Who doesn't love a road trip with your besties? Let the shenanigans begin!

I thought this new "Impossible Card" style would be perfect for these four Girlfriends piled in a convertible to pop them upright! How fun! I previously made an A2 size card in this style but wanted the pop-up panel to be slightly larger here to fit the image so this card is 6x6.

For my "inside" sentiment which I placed behind the pop-up, I used another Michael's exclusive set, SC0678- Got Style. I also added a punched heart and the streetlight fit nicely on the right.

I made 2 versions of this by switching the two patterned papers. I don't know which I like better. These are definitely some of my fave cards I made...hope you enjoy them too!

Have a great Monday and… happy stamping!

Pack Your Bags! by ReneƩ Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing my daughter's dance friends card and my niece's graduation card.  This is a little outside the box because as you can see...there's no grad cap or congratulations or anything like that on my card.

Instead I used two Art Impressions sets called
and

Kelly is going off to Nebraska to become a "Cornhusker."

My niece has accepted a job as a nanny in Minnesota.
She flew out a few weeks ago to spend time with the kids and get familiar with the area.  She'll go back after graduation.

I made a cute little suitcase that matches the card to put her gift in.

Both of these sets come with a LOT of images and verses which makes them very versatile.

Here's the inside of Riley's card.
Copics used:
B04, B23, BG72, C1, C5, E31, E35

This is what the suitcase looked like in the beginning. I just measure it and covered it with paper.  I used a tab punch to make the handle and used a very old Sizzix buckle die and luggage tag to complete it.

I love Ewe to the moon! by Sharon Caudle

Hello AI Fans!!

Today I'm showing you another of the Flutters line from Art Impressions! I love every single one of them!! This is the fun Sheep Flutter Set! I totally ADORE her!! I'll be teaching the top card at Scrapbook Paradise on Monday if you're local and interested!

And this is the card I made for Creativation. I will say it's much easier to put your Flutter on a separate panel, rather than trying to cut through a bunch of different layers on your entire card as I did below. Plus the mechanism works a lot smoother when there aren't so many layers for it to go through.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!!

Birthday Fishes by Cheri Burry!

Hi Ai Fans!
I always find it a struggle to make masculine themed cards. No frills, no glitter, no pretty ribbon LOL! But this set from Art Impressions makes it super easy to make a male card that will sure to please that certain guy in your life! This is the "Reel Great Guys" set and comes with 5 images and 10 different sentiments!
I chose papers from the Pink & Main Beach Bum 6x6 collection to make my card with. I stamped some of the smaller images to use as embellishments and cut them out with my Brother Cut N Scan. A simple layout show cases the image and popped up stamped cutouts nicely I think!
I love that you can add either this little sign or the fish to the end of the fishing line!
I find it easy to make 2 cards when I make a design, that way I can send one to the recipient and have to add to my stash! Win, win!!

Sharon has an incredible tutorial to share with you today about how to put these fun Flutters together!

Hello AI Fans!

I'm super excited to get to show you the brand new Flutters line from Art Impressions!  This adorable pup is so happy to celebrate with you, no matter what the occasion! Just pull the tab and his ears fly up in the air! So much fun! The stamp set comes complete with all the stamps and dies you'll need to create this amazing interactive feature for your cards! It even has a package of the mini brads you use to attach the ears!!

The dies all come hooked together, so separate them.

I colored him with Copic markers before I used the dies to cut him out.

I used the other cute guy in a dog house box you'll see below!

Use your brads to attach the ears, leaving the second hole on the inside so you can attach your pull mechanism.

Cut a 3/4" wide by 4" long piece and trim the top corners off. Once you've got your card assembled, you can cut off any excess length you might have.

With the included die, die cut the wholes for your twine

Thread your string through the holes in the pull tab and then the hole in the ears.  Using a #2 pencil to leave the right amount of slack, tie a knot.

Using the slot die, cut two holes in your piece you're going to mount your dog to.

Then thread the pull tab through them just like this.

Put your card together and you've got an impressive interactive card for that someone special in your life!

Pull the tab and his ears fly up in the air!!

Here is the card I did for the Creativation show. These flutters are so much fun!!!

And here's a cute Dog Treat Box I made using the other cutie I colored up above! The dog house box is a Silhouette file.

Copics used:  E31, E33, E35, E37, E39, R20
