Fairy Garden by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans! Today I am sharing my creation for the Surprise! Challenge. For more information on this challenge check out the announcement here. My whimsical woodland scene features the new Fairy Critter Cubbies stamp set and the Scrapbook.com Exclusive Daisy stamp set. This card is also featured on my personal blog, check it out here
First I colored the fairy house from the Fairy Critter Cubbies stamp set with my Copic Markers and die cut the image with the coordinating die. I used a wide variety of browns and greens through out the tree house image. Most of the background scene I sketched out by hand and colored with my Copic markers. I used G20's for the tall grass and the E40's for the ground. Before I attached the fairy house onto the card I stamped the daisies from the Scrapbook.com Exclusive Daisy set to look like random wild flowers.  I used W's and Y20's to color the daisies.
Next, I used pastel shades of the color wheel to color the fairy dresses and I gave them all unique hair colors. I placed the fairies as if they were popping out of the tree house. As you open the front door there is a SURPRISE fairy to greet you! To finish the card I used scraps of coordinating wildflower cardstock to matte the scene onto the front of the card.
Check back next week for more Ai inspiration made by me!

Oopsie Daisy! by Sharon Caudle

 Hello AI Fans!!

I love this Daisies set that so much!!!!  This card was made for my Mother-in-law's birthday in September. I just think this set is perfect for so many different occasions! I stamped it onto Cryogen white paper and then colored with copic markers listed below.

These are such a quick and easy stamp to color!!!

I used another sentiment and simple stamp on the inside as well! Do you decorate the inside of your cards or leave them blank?

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit today and until next time, stay safe, stay healthy, and stay crafty!!!

hugs!!

Daisy Exclusive Card by Karen - Guest Blogger

Hello Ai fans!

I am so excited to be your guest blogger again today with this simple card.

In this case, the image does all the talking, and I just didn't want to add much to the card to take away from the pretty spray of flowers:

This is one of the images from the Exclusive Daisy Set, available through Scrapbook.com.
I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Cryogen cardstock (which has the loveliest subtle shimmer to it!). I coloured it using my Copic markers, concentrating the colour near the centers of the flowers. I added a soft halo of blues in and around the flowers to make them pop off the page a little more, using a bit of a stipple to add some texture.

The sentiment is also found in the Exclusive Daisy set - and was stamped using Versafine Onyx Black ink.  The matted image is adhered to the patterned base with some 3D foam adhesive so that it rises up just a little.  To add even more shimmer, I went over the blooms with my clear Wink of Stella pen, and you can see the results here:

Happy stamping!

Oopsie Daisy Birthday Card with Colored Pencils | By Jessica Shier

Hello Ai Fans!

It's Jessica here on the blog today and I'm back with another floral card. These Scrapbook.com exclusives have been really fun to work with. This time I have a card using the Daisy set. I just love Daisy's. I've said for a long time now that they are probably the most happy flower out there. They always make me smile. This punny sentiment is just to cute paired with this gorgeous bunch.

I'm using Prismacolor pencils on Kraft card stock for this card. I started by stamping the daisy bunch onto the center then stamped the two littler daisys on either side. I used Versafine Claire Nocturne ink for this. I'm coloring all the daisys with the white colored pencil, then adding in a hint of a French Gary and Warm Gray for contrast and shading.

I used one of the Art Impressions Rectangle Double Stitch dies to trim out my coloring. This is backed with a bright green card stock that matches the stems. The sentiment is also stamped with the same ink as the daisies but onto a piece of light yellow card stock. Then die cut using the double ended flag from the Flag die set.

before adding the sentiment I used several more colored pencils, the list is below, to create a cloudy back scene. The inside is kept simple of course with a tiny bit of coloring of two more daisies. One of which has a fabulous sentiment.

Prismacolor Pencils used
