Dance Like No One is Watching Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a masculine birthday card created with the fun 5278 - Dance It Out Laugh Lines Set. Doesn't this happy guy look like he is having the best time dancing on his birthday?

For this card, I started by stamping the birthday guy with black ink and colored him with Copic Markers. After stamping, I used Masking Paper to cover the image before creating the background. I thought that he needed a spotlight, so I created one with yellow ink and Post-It Labeling tape. He is the star of his birthday dance party!

For the greeting, I stamped one sentiment from the 5278 - Dance It Out Laugh Lines Set and added "To the Birthday Boy" from the 5735 - Birthday Sentiments Set. These two work great together!

Lastly, I added layers of green, brown, and yellow plaid pattern paper to coordinate with the man's clothing. I also attached several yellow enamel dots and added little white gel pen accents to complete the design.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and are having a wonderful day!

This week, Crystal is joining us to show off her feature creation!

Hi crafty friends! As soon as I saw the sentiment "Shake it!" from the Be Happy Laugh Lines stamp set I know I wanted to make a shaker card. Everyone loves a shaker card right?!?

I started with stamping the lady image onto smooth white card stock with Memento Tuxedo black ink. After I colored the image in I fussy cut it out.

I die cut a stitched rectangle using the largest double stitched rectangle die.

I adhered strips of pattern paper with silver glitter card stock onto white card stock. Using the next smallest from the largest double stitched rectangle die I cut out another rectangle. I used a small double stitched rectangle die to cut an opening on the left side towards the top. I adhered acetate over the opening and stamped the sentiment "SHAKE IT!" with StazOn black ink.

I stamped the sentiment "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LET'S SEE THAT HAPPY DANCE!" onto white card stock and die cut it out with a banner stitched die I turned the die and used the side to die cut the banner off of the left side.

I added a double layer of foam tape to the smaller rectangle with the window cut out.

I added the sequins and adhered the smaller rectangle to the largest rectangle on the left side towards the top.

I adhered the sentiment banner toward the bottom left. I then adhered the older lady on the right side over hanging the acetate window.

I had so much fun making this card!

Dance It Out by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Dance It Out stamp set from Art Impressions.

I started by stamping my sentiment and cutting it out with the Flag Double Stitched Dies.  I love the banners you can make with these dies.  I layered the sentiment to give it a more polished look.

For my card I used a gray card base.  I layered my white panel on top and stamped my dancing gentleman towards the left of the card.  I Copic colored him.  I added a shadow to give him some depth.

I finished my card off by attaching my banner to the right side of the card and randomly adding some black Nuvo Drops. Below is another look at the finished card.

Here is one more look at the finished card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little time with me.  Make sure you come back soon to the Ai blog and see what the team has been up to.

Run Wild Mr. Handstand by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Dance It Out stamp set from Art Impressions.

I started with a teal card base.  I added a black piece of card stock trimmed smaller than the teal.  I trimmed my white piece smaller than the black so it would look nice and polished.  On my white piece I masked off a line so I could make the sky and grass.  I tilted the grass a tiny bit so when my guy was doing his handstand it would look more realistic.

I faded out the  sky so I could add my sentiment ... "Over the hill and STILL running wild!" I placed the sentiment framed out in the upper left corner of the card.

I added some clear confetti to give some pop to the card.  I added my fussy cut gentleman to my card.  He fit perfectly upside down so he was "running wild" doing a handstand.  I love when you can change a stamped image up a little.

Here is one more look at the full card.

Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little time with me.  Make sure you come back soon to the Ai blog and see what the team has been up to.
