Hello Ai Fans - Bri here! Today, I am sharing a simple bookmark featuring the Elephant Stackers which is part of the Stacker collection. This project is perfect for Ai's current challenge "Black Tie Affair," as it features white, black, gray color tones. Keep reading below for details on how I made this creation.
First, I die cut the bookmark shape with the Bookmark Dies set. Next, I stamped the sentiment in pigment black ink and I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Both the sentiment and image are from the Elephant Stackers set.
The elephants were colored with Copic markers. I used Warm Grays for their fur. The colors I used are listed at the end of this post. I just love how this clean and simple project turned out.
Check back next week for more Ai inspiration made by me!
Dana, here with a card featuring the Elephant Stacker stamp set and matching Slider die! Speaking of Stacker's have you seen the collaboration between Art Impressions and Simon Says Stamp??? The Terrier Stacker is so adorable, make sure you grab it, once it's gone it's gone!!
To start my card I stamped the Elephant Stacker on some white card base and used my Spectrum Noir Marker's to color them! To make the elephants interesting I did vary the grey's I used when coloring them. I used: IG 1, IG2, IG4, IG6.
Next, I used the Slider die and cut the frame from some polka dot pattern paper. I trimmed the stamped piece to fit inside the slider, along with another piece to cover the elephants. To tease the recipient I punch a circle at the top, so you can see one elephant and as you pull the panel down you can see the other elephants!!
All the pattern paper I used on this card comes from the same paper pad, Teresa Collins You Are My Happy. This makes mixing patterns easy, they already match!! :) I picked one pattern for the card base and a few other patterns I cut into flags.
For the sentiment, I first cut a white flag from Avery Elle's Dotted Die, then stamped the sentiment. I added all the flags to the card and then the Slider with the elephants to the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!! Happy Stamping!!
Today I'm sharing a super fun card using the Elephant Stacker. I absolutely adore these elephants, they are all so so cute! Tons of fun and all pile up, cuteness overload!
I colored these adorable elephants with Copic markers. And for the background, I once again used the Marvy LePlume II markers in Violet and Brilliant yellow. Instead of the spritzing water on the watercolor palette. I decided to use some perfect pearl mist. Unfortunately, it doesn't show well on the photo. But it does look really cool with a little bit of shimmer.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have TONS OF FUN today!
