-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello Ai fans, Nina here and today I am so excited to share with you my projects I created for our new challenge Fabulous Flowers.

I created a tag to my Ai Tag Journal using Birdhouses stamp Set and the Stitched Tags Die Set.

I stamped the adorable Birdhouses cubbies image on a Bristol Smooth White Paper using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and my Mini Misti. I then colored the image using my Copic markers.

Copic Shades:

Browns: E35 E37

Light Browns: E11 E13

Greens: G05 G09 G28

Blues: B21 B45

Pinks: RV13 RV09

Orange: YR68

Yellows: Y08 Y38

Light Green: BG23 BG15

Blue Green: BG45 BG49

I then cut my image and backed it with foam tape.

To create the tag, I die cut the largest die from the stitched Tags Die Set twice from white paper and glued them together to make my tag sturdy. I then ink blended blue shades from Distress Ink. I used Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon shades.

I die cut my sentiment and added it to the tag along my adorable cubbies image and added a branch for my birdhouses to stand on. I used enamel dots and stickers to decorate around my image. I replaced the letter "O" in the word home with a heart that I die cut with the heart die from the bookmark die set and colored the inside red with Copic shad R29.

I then placed my tag in the metal ring of my Art Journal.

The inspiring challenege got me excited and I created a flowery Bookmark using our Bookmark Dies set and Ai Home & Heart Set.

I stamped the beautiful flower bucket from Home & Heart set on a Bristol Smooth White Paper using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and my Mini Misti. I then colored the image using my Copic markers.

Copic Shades:

Greens: YG23 YG25

Blues: B21 B45

Pinks: RV13 RV09

Yellows: Y08 Y38

Greys: C2

I then cut my image and backed it with foam tape.

To create the bookmark base I die cut the biggest die from Bookmark dies from flowery pattern paper from my stash and then again die cut it from white paper and glued them back to back to make the bookmark base sturdy.

I again die cut the bookmark extra banner from white paper and attached my flower bucket on top of it and added my sentiment. I then attached both bookmark pieces together with a layer of foam tape. I placed eyelets with my Crop-a-Dile on the banner and the bookmark base and added a cute ribbon.

Matchbooks and Masculine cards! by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing several cards and a bookmark.

Two of my cards are from the Matchbook series.

Both cards used the 5317 – MB Template Dies and 5318 – MB Envelope Dies

My first Matchbook was created using 5498 – MB Salon.

Unless you're bald,  you almost definitely have a hair dresser/barber.  How cute is this card as a little thank you for keeping you looking amazing?!

Due to some medical issues I haven't needed my hair dresser in over a year and a half but when I go back and she makes me beautiful, she'll definitely be getting a card like this!

These tiny little scenes are such a treasure!

My second MB used the 5499 – MB Get Well.  I love the little white board that you can personalize any way you'd like.

The Matchbook folds up and fits neatly in a tiny little envelope.

These are perfect for someone's desk or bedside table.
Whether you have a sick friend or need to thank a doctor or nurse this set is perfect!
Swap out the Get Well for Thank You.

I have a former co-worker who is having some health issues so I made this card and took it to work for everyone to sign. For this card I used the same MB but I did it on a traditional card.  It's mounted on 5061 – Square Double Stitched Dies.

The verse is stamped on 5132 – Tag Stitched Dies and the heart is from 5543 – Journal Template Die Set.

My bookmark was cut using 5223 – Bookmark Dies.
The main images are from 5322 – MB Den Set.

The frame around the verse and the star are from 5543 – Journal Template Die Set.
The little tags are from 5132 – Tag Stitched Dies and the clock is from 5323 – MB Wall Accessories.

I hope you've enjoyed my projects for today and that you find some time to be crafty.  Most of my projects were made with the current Let's Hear it for the Boys challenge here on the blog.  Be sure to enter for your chance to win a free stamp set!

Your Secret's Safe With Me! by Janet Axtman

Hello friends! It's Saturday already and time for me to share my weekly project. Today I made a mini slimline card featuring the new #5517 Sassy Laugh Lines stamp set. This lady is a adorable and there are so many sentiments included that can tell her story for you. I chose this one because recently a new friend trusted me with a secret. It's kind of a big deal when someone trusts you to keep something to yourself so I celebrated it by making this card.

I colored her with Copic markers (list of colors used is at the end of this post). I decided to make her jacket a faux leopard print using black squiggles. I had a leftover piece of an iridescent panel I had made months ago so I used it as a background for the lady. I pulled out #5223 Bookmark Dies to cut the long flag and hole. It also has a feather die so I cut one out of pink and black glitter cardstock. The Sassy stamp set doesn't have a coordinating die so I used my Brother ScanNCut to cut the lady and the sentiment out. You can easily fussy cut this image also.

I finished the card by mounting the panel on a pink mat and I added a few pink glass bubbles. Then I glued the panel on a black mini slimline card base. Voila!

Copic Colors:
RV17, RV55, RV20
C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, C9
E00. E0, E11, E21

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you consider adding Sassy to your stash. She's so much fun to make cards with.

Wishing you a very crafty weekend!

Tons of Fun Bookmark by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri here! Today, I am sharing a simple bookmark featuring the Elephant Stackers which is part of the Stacker collection. This project is perfect for Ai's current challenge "Black Tie Affair," as it features white, black, gray color tones. Keep reading below for details on how I made this creation.

First, I die cut the bookmark shape with the Bookmark Dies set. Next, I stamped the sentiment in pigment black ink and I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Both the sentiment and image are from the Elephant Stackers set.

The elephants were colored with Copic markers. I used Warm Grays for their fur. The colors I used are listed at the end of this post. I just love how this clean and simple project turned out.

We "heart" Hearts Challenge #320

 Hello Ai fans!

We just finished up our Shimmy and Shake challenge.

We have two lucky winners to announce, but first, let's introduce our new challenge for this week!

We're looking for cards or crafty creations that have hearts on them. It doesn't necessarily need to be for Valentine's Day.  Your project just needs to contain hearts.  We hope you "heart" this challenge!!

We're kicking off our new challenge with an adorable card from Reneé.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today I have a sweet Valentine's Day card to share with you.  I'll be showing you

how I made my sparkly XOs!

First I start with some double sided adhesive that I get at Scrapbook.com

Place the adhesive on your paper.  Die cut your letters out.

Peel off one side of the backing paper and place the letter over or in something because this will be messy!  I used my embossing tray.  Sprinkle your glitter of choice over the exposed adhesive.

I used tweezers to pick up the letter and shake off any excess glitter.

I glued my letter to my card and repeated the process 3 more times.

I used 5072 – Block Letters Die Set and 5117 – Valentine Critters Set on my card.

The hearts on the front are from 5223 – Bookmark Dies and 5317 – MB Template Dies.
On the inside I used 5133 – Flag Double Stitched Dies and 5132 – Tag Stitched Dies and more hearts from the bookmark set.

Here's a close up of the amazing sparkle.
How cute is that little grin on the otter!

We hope you loved Reneé's  Valentine card as much as we did!

Now to announce the winners of our "Shimmy & Shake" challenge.

Our top spot goes to Irene Rhodes for her adorable panda shaker card.
She used the 5113 – Pand-tastic Set from Art Impressions Funny Farm series.
