To the Birthday Girl! Card by Tasha

Happy Friday, Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here, and today I’m sharing a birthday card inspired by the current Enjoy the Ride Challenge. Art Impressions has so many fun vehicle-themed stamps, but I’ve always been drawn to this vintage truck design. One of my favorite details is the open window, which makes the perfect spot to add a little character. I chose a gnome for this card because I can never resist a cute gnome!

To give the truck a birthday theme, I stamped a sweet little dog and a bunch of balloons in the truck bed. The balloon images fit perfectly and add a fun, festive touch to the scene.

For the sentiment, I used “To the Birthday Girl” from the 5735-Birthday Sentiment Set. I layered it onto gold glitter paper for a bit of sparkle, which really helps the greeting stand out.

To finish the card, I added layers of pink, cream, and yellow cardstock along with a floral patterned paper. I also used Copic markers to create a simple country road background that ties everything together and completes the design.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope this card inspires you to join the challenge!

April Showers Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the "It's Raining Cats and Dogs" Challenge. Art Impressions has so many cute cat and dog themed stamps and I thought it would be fun to have a little doggie playing in a puddle.

The sweet dog is from the 5101 - Dog House Cubbies Set and I used the coordinating included die set to cut him out. I love all the Ai cubbies sets and like to use the little characters with and without the main cubbies main image. The little dog looks so happy!

To complete this card, I stamped "Just a little note" from the 5797 - Little Things Sentiment Set. This sentiment set has so many greetings perfect for year-round cards and projects. I like to have some extra general cards in my card stash just in case I need a quick note. I also enjoy sending people cards randomly to let them know I'm thinking of them.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and are having a wonderful day!

Happy Christmas Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Friends!

Tasha here sharing a holiday card featuring the 4936 - Christmas Wonder Set and new 5782 - Snowflake Frame Die. This project was inspired by the current Art Impressions "Making Spirits Bright" Challenge and I love creating pet-themed Christmas cards!

To make the little outdoor scene, I stamped the animals and used masking paper to cover the image before ink blending the background. I also used colored pencils to add more color to ground and stenciled snowflakes with a glitter paste. I think the falling snow is so pretty!

To frame the center card, I used the new 5782 - Snowflake Frame Die. The frame fits around the trio perfectly and I love the snowflake pattern! I also added paw print pattern paper and layers of green and red card stock to bring in more holiday colors.

Lastly, I added an embossed "Seasons Greetings" sentiment from the 5566 - Christmas Sentiments Set and attached the card to a white card base to complete the design.

Thank you for checking out today's card and I hope you will participate in the "Making Spirits Bright" Challenge!

Dachshund Through the Snow Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Friends!

Tasha here sharing a new holiday card featuring the Art Impressions 4937 - Santa Paws Set. This design was also inspired by the current "You're Such a Square!" Challenge; it's so much fun make square holiday cards!

To begin, I stamped the little doggie and colored his festive clothing with markers before cutting him out. I also added foam tape and a little light gray shadow under him to make it look like he was jumping in the snow. I think his little winter outfit and the large bell are too cute!

For the background, I used a piece of snowflake pattern paper for the sky and attached a stitched hill for the ground. I also used Distress Oxide Ink for some extra blue color; I think the blue makes the white pop and look more like snow.

The greeting "Dachshund Through the Snow" was stamped with a light blue ink to coordinate with the snowy scene. I also attached layers of black, pink, and blue glitter paper to bring in more color and complete the project.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and will participate in the "You're Such a Square!" Challenge!

Have a Blessed Day Tag by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a new Tag inspired by the "Tag, You're It! Challenge. Tags are just so much fun to make and are great to add to cards, scrapbooks, journals, or use on gift bags.

For my project, I used the 5132 - Tag Stitched Dies to cut a large tag to use as the base. After, I stamped the door from the 5512 - Front Porch Door Set and colored the background with Copic Markers. The door fits perfectly on the large Tag and there was still plenty of room to decorate.

For the greeting, I embossed "Have a Blessed Day" on the bottom of the tag with white powder. I also used multiple shades of green ink to create a grassy look and made sure a darker green was used along the edge to allow the white letters to show. I just love embossed sentiments!

To decorate the door, I used the 5494 - Front Door Patriotic Set to give a Summer vibe. This set is great to use all Summer long and this little sleeping doggie stamp is just too cute!

Lastly, I added Red, White & Blue embroidery thread to complete the design. I am so happy with how this turned out and think I may try making some Fall/Winter designs next.

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you will participate in the "Tag, You're It! Challenge

Pet Sympathy by ReneƩ Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a pet sympathy card that my friend Jess requested. One of her other friends just lost their Corgi named Rocket.

I immediately thought of the M4584 – Day Spent Window from Art Impressions.

I know so many people say that the animal crosses the "Rainbow Bridge" when they pass so I wanted to have a rainbow on the card. I used 5725 – Nested Square Dies5463 – Slimline Dies Set for the banner,  Bleed Proof White to add some fur texture to the Corgi, 5543 – Journal Template Die Set for the heart and 5562 – Journal Letter Die Set for ROCKET.

A student at school gave me this card with some sweet gifts.  I hate to recycle something that I can reuse.  I decided to pull the cloud and rainbow off and repurpose them for the card. Imagine my surprise when there turned out to be two rainbows!  I made two cards to give her a choice.

I die cut a cloud that I have to cover over the text that I didn't need.

I went to Google and tried to find a Corgi to copy.  I found this photo and on the orange trimmed card I masked off the ear and tried to draw an ear to look like his.  I hope this somewhat resembles what the real Rocket looked like.

I cut off the sentiment because I just wasn't sure.  It's a BEAUTIFUL verse but talks about spending the day together.  Since they can no longer do that I wasn't sure if that would be painful for them.  Better safe than sorry.  I'll save using the stamp and verse for when a friend gets a new dog.

I'm Probably Late for Something Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a new card created with the 5111 - Loads of Fun Set. I love dogs and this little doggie sleeping on the laundry pile is just too cute, he looks so comfy!

To create this card, I stamped the little dog & laundry with black ink and colored the image with Copic Markers. I also added little designs to the laundry with a white gel pen, I love the extra details!

For the sentiment, I stamped "I'm probably Late for something" from the 5518-Hot Mess Laugh Lines Set below the colored image. I like the clean & simple look and this greeting fit perfectly in the space!

Lastly, I attached layers of red and yellow card stock, gold foil paper, and a cute dog-themed pattern paper to complete the project. This card makes me happy and I can't wait to send it to someone special!

I hope you enjoyed today's card and are having a great day!

A Day Well Spent Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!
Tasha here sharing a card inspired by the new Furries and Feathers Challenge #351. I love dogs and this challenge was a perfect opportunity to use the fun M4584 - Day Spent Window Stamp

This image was stamped with black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I love that the Ai Windows have a little scene and a sentiment all in one stamp. This makes is super easy to create greeting cards or use on your scrapbook layout. I also love the way the greeting goes around the window.

Lastly, I added layers of silver glitter paper, mirrored paper, a green pattern paper, and gray card stock. I also stenciled a cloud background to go behind the happy dog. I enjoy making clouds and thought the bright blue clouds worked well with the little Spring scene.

Thank you for checking out my project and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

I started by stamping the cute little doggie image and colored him with Copic Markers. This dog looks so happy and relaxed, perfect for a retirement card!

To complete the scene, I stamped palm trees from the Happy Trails Set and ink blended the sky and water. A white gel pen was used to add highlights and waves; I love the sparkle on the tube!

Lastly, I added layers of yellow, blue, and gold glitter paper before adding the card to a white card base.
