Watercolor Throwback - Wooden Chair Watercolor

Hello Ai Fans!

Time for another Watercolor Throwback from Ai! We have another fan-favorite ready to share with you from the archives. Bonnie created this stunning Wooden Chair Set image back in March of 2017. It has soared to almost 10,000 views on YouTube and is in our top 10 videos released in the last two years!

We love the adorable blue bird, small container, and gorgeous blooms Bonnie added to this image. She also used some items in this video you do not see very often! She featured our ivy vine from the Wooden Chair Set and the small buds and stemmed zinnias from our Flower Set 2!

NEW VIDEO! Stump Hobbit Door Watercolor!

Hello Ai Fans!

We have a cute Watercolor Wednesday for you this week! Watch Bonnie extend our rustic stump to add an adorable hobbit door and resting robin on top. Bonnie simply stamps the doorway first, then adds a post-it mask over the door, using her positioner to stamp the stump twice on either side to give the tree a wider base. Add the cute little robin, your flower and foliage, and voila! We always love to hear your comments, hop over to the video and leave a little feedback!

NEW VIDEO - Fall Wreath Watercolor

Hello Ai Fans!

Welcome to a new Watercolor Wednesday! This week, Bonnie is continuing with her wreaths for this beautiful autumn-themed wreath, adorned with pumpkins, branches and a robin in the middle. Bonnie starts by making a circle and drawing quadrants inside. She stamps the pumpkin from our WC Series 3 Set 1 in each of the sections and pulls the color from the lines. She repeats the process and adds branches, bundles, vines, and buds. Bonnie uses her beautiful Fall colors - olive green, olive brown, English red, and sepia. For the final touch, Bonnie adds a branch in the center with a tiny robin from our WC Birds Set resting on it.

NEW VIDEO - Hanging Baskets Watercolor

Hello Ai Fans!

Welcome to a Watercolor Wednesday ... On a Friday! Bonnie was traveling this last week, but she couldn't leave you hanging (pun intended)! So today, we have a beautiful Hanging Baskets video! Bonnie starts by stamping the branch from our Clay Pot set and adding leaves with the vine from our Foliage Set 1. She then uses her Stamp Positioner to add three baskets, two from our Small Containers Set and one from our Wooden Chair Mini Set. She adds some Molotow Masking dots to the sides where she'll have white flowers and then pulls the colors from the lines and adds dimension to the round containers. Next, she adds blooms from our Flower Set 1 and and ivy vines from our Foliage Set 2 New. Bonnie includes a WC Birds Set image on the branch and lines for the baskets with a ruler. For the final touches, she removes the masking and and some dots with her Signo White Pen.

NEW VIDEO - Wooden Bird Bath Watercolor

Hello Ai Fans!

Time for a new Watercolor Wednesday, as Bonnie creates this stunning bird bath in a square, masked frame! She begins by inking half of the wooden basket from our WC Rustic Container set. Bonnie used our WC Palette to add dark water to the inside of the barrel and an antique blue to the sides. She then used the WC Positioner to place a blue jay from our WC Birds Set on the edge. She added the teeny tiny grass from the WC Foliage Set 1 and then created a square frame in pencil and washi tape. Bonnie created the background with green rolling hills and a blue cloudy sky. She surrounded the frame with our WC Flower Set 2 and added foliage to the edges with the branches from our Spring Basket set. Then just remove the washi tape and don't forget to sign your work!

NEW VIDEO - Large Tree & Log Watercolor

Hello Ai Fans!

Welcome to another Watercolor Wednesday! We have to say, it's so great to see many of you at shows around the country and the outpouring of love you have for these videos! We are so thankful for all your kind words and love your excitement for our watercolor techniques! Don't forget, you can sign up for a watercolor class near you by checking out our 2017 Show Schedule!

This week, Bonnie transforms the stump stamp from our WC Rustic Container Set into a tall tree and a fallen log to create a meadow scene. She starts by partially inking the step tree and extending the branches with the fine point of her Sepia marker. Next, she again inks part of the stamp and uses our Stamp Positioner to create a log sticking out of the ground. She uses a sweet blue jay from our WC Birds Set to rest on the log. Bonnie fills in the image with a blue sky, long tree branches and blue and purple flowers from our foliage and flower sets.
