Chicken Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a Spring themed Matchbook card featuring the super cute 5731-Chicken MB Set. The Ai Matchbooks are always fun to make and it's so amazing how much detail fits in this little package!

All of the images were colored with markers and were cut with the included coordinating dies. I also used pretty purple star pattern paper to make it look like a night scene and added green plaid paper for the grass. I love the way the patterns help make the little scene and the green and purple look great together!

Lastly, I attached the included "Spring Chicken" greeting to the bottom flap and added the sweet hens to the top flap to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and are inspired to make a fun Matchbook Card!

Easter Chick Slimline Card by Tasha

Happy Friday Ai Fans!
Tasha here sharing an Easter card inspired by the Art Impressions Here Comes Peter Cottontail Challenge!

My card was created with the Hoppy Easter Stamp Set and the sweet little chick was colored with Copic Markers. I used a white gel pen to add a pattern to the egg to give an Easter egg look!

I used a cloud stencil and Distress Oxide Ink for the sky and a grass stencil for the ground. I also used green markers to add more detail to the grass and create a shadow under the little chick.

The greeting "Hoppy Easter!" was stamped with a light blue ink and I used green Distress Oxide Ink around the edges to bring in more color. I also added glitter paper around the sentiment and slimline card for extra sparkle!

Lastly, I added polka-dot pattern paper and little blue pearls to the sky to complete the happy card!

Thank you for checking out today's card and I hope you will join in the Ai Here Comes Peter Cottontail Challenge!

Have a great day!

Home Sweet Home! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a slimline card created with the New Hen House Cubbies set!

To create this colorful scene, I used pastel shades on the hen house and on the clouds in the background. I also ink blended a piece of paper with two shades of Distress Oxide Ink and splattered some water droplets for the grass.

The best part of the Cubbies sets are the parts that open to allow your stamped images to pop out. This set has several windows and a large barn door that opens up. So, I decided to have all the little chicks popping out of the windows and when you open the doors, you get to see the large chicken. This set is just too fun!

Lastly, I attached the little sign with the "Home Sweet Home" sentiment and added a little chick waving hello to complete the card.

Thank you so much for checking out my project and I hope you have a wonderful day!

sweet Easter chick by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Monday!

Today I am sharing a card using one of the new Ai Easter sets. Here I used 5004- Sweet Easter Set. This card screams "spring" and I'm sooo ready for it!

Have you ever pulled out some patterned paper that was just so pretty that you hated to cover it up? Well, that was the case here! I wanted to add more layers, etc. but decided to keep it clean & simple with this beautiful paper.

It's always difficult to show the glittery shimmer on cards so I hope this conveys a bit how gorgeous this paper is. It's such a complement to the sweet flower and chick images in this set and really lets them shine. That chick is so cute!

Have a great Monday and… happy stamping!

hoppy Easter by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Thursday!

Today I am sharing a card using the 4754 – Hoppy Easter Set.  It has a few bunnies with eggs but it also has this cute little chick.

You may have noticed that my challenge card today has the same patterned paper. I found this piece of 12x12 paper that was cut into squares for a project a few years ago. I guess I thought the leftover pieces were too pretty to toss and left them in a box of unfinished cards.  The colors and fun floral pattern were perfect for my spring cards today.

I brushed some clear Wink of Stella onto the eggs for some sparkle and the chick's arms & eggs were popped up!

I also have a sketch for this card on my blog if you'd like to try this one.  :)
Have a great day and… happy stamping!
