Life's a Journey !!


Hello Ai fans !!
It's Crystal here and today I made a card using the Picture Perfect image # 4134 and  I decided to take them on a journey.


my card base is black and cut to make a 6 *6 card , I added some map paper and then wanted to make an old fashion film strip out of brown Stazon and  clear acetate and heat gun and a EK binder punch  , my words Journey are cut from my Cricut  using cartridge Graphically Speaking cut at 3" w by 2" high , I added white dots with gel pen.I colored my girls with Copic markers and fussy cut them out .I added travel brads and 3mm pearls and crystal strips from Eyelet Outlet .
Picture perfect 6-3-13 004Picture perfect 6-3-13 005Picture perfect 6-3-13 006inside my card I stamped out the film strip in Frayed burlap and stamped my sentiment A friend supports # 3586 , I also added fly specks with my Stamping Up Color spritzer and a black SU marker( water base )
Picture perfect 6-3-13 007I also decided to make me a envelope with my new envelope maker to match my card , you knowI always give my mail man eye candy on my envelope, I do this to every card I give , I like the outside to look just as fabulous as the inside.

I want to thank Eyelet Outlet for all the fabulous brads and eyelets and pearls we were given to create with , these products added the extra special touch to our projects and I loved them.

Lazy Boy Father's Day


Hello Ai fans !!
It's Crystal here and today I thought it's time to start making Father's day cards , this is my first of several to come. I am using the Lazy Boy set #4159 and the  wood Father's day sentiment # 1883.

to make this card I cut my layers off my gypsy ( Wild Card cartridge) using the Cricut

Lazy Boy fathers day 009my designer paper is the DCWV Guy Stack , love this paper it has perfect colors and patterns
so card base is standard A2 41/4" by 5 1/2" then plaid is 4 1/8" by 5 1/4" , then blue diamond layer  , and brown cross hatch  , I colored my image and fussy cut him out popped him up on foam tape , the sentiment stamped on blue and made into a banner with brown twine wrapped and tied into a bow , extra large gromlets are added.
