I've got one more card fitting the Floral Frenzy challenge on the blog. For this one, I primarily used 5925 - Honey Bee Set. I also added the 6170 - Honey Bear Freebie from the first half of the year. If you don't have this one, you could use another bear freebie from 2026, including the 2nd set of bears now available as gifts with purchase.
I started this with a piece of gold cardstock cut 4 1/2" square. I embossed it with a honeycomb folder and then brushed orange ink across it to darken the raised portion of the pattern. Once done, I trimmed it down to 4" square. Next I stamped and colored all the stamps that I had chosen. I cut them them out with the included dies. I fussy cut the Honey Bear. Then I cut a piece of grass out of cardstock and blended two colors of green ink on the piece so it didn't look so flat and lifeless. I arranged the images to my liking and glued them all in place making sure there was a little room at the top of the grass to tuck in the pieces. I stamped the sentiment in orange ink from the stamp set. I added some vines from the set and then decided to add three more bees and mount them on foam tape. The last step was to cut a 5" white top fold card base. I added a gold metallic and additional white mat before placing the focal panel on top with foam tape.
I like the colors in this card and how it turned out. I hope you're inspired to enter your entry for the Floral Frenzy challenge. Link up your creation here.

Hope you had a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend if you're in the states and celebrated! I've got a fun card to show you today! Have you ever jumped on a trampoline? Well this lady is out having the time of her life helping someone celebrate their birthday! Watch a clip of the video below to see her in action! It's so much fun watching her jump around! I started by stamping #5279 Be Happy Laugh Lines onto a Copic friendly paper and fussy cutting her out after coloring her. I found this video on how to make the mechanism to make her jump. It's really pretty easy and you don't need any special dies to make it!
The sentiment get your happy on is also from the same stamp set #5279 Be Happy Laugh Lines. The bird is from #5346 Birdhouse Cubbies Set, the flowers from #5925 Honey Bee Set, and the fence from #5807 Journal Fence Dies. I just clipped off one fence post from the die as it was just a little too wide for what I needed. The other pieces just came from my stash.
For the inside sentiments I used #5278 Dance it out Set and #5115 Birthday Laugh Lines for the two different sentiments.
So that's it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!!
Today's card was inspired by the new Ai "Yellow" Blog Challenge which is to simply use the color yellow somewhere on your card or project! Yellow is just such a happy, cheerful color and little bees were the first thing that came into my mind for this card!
We will be creating a fun grid layout with some pretty patterned papers from the brand-new Ai Floral Shop Paper Packs! The colors and patterns coordinate perfectly and will make this card super easy to create.
Let's begin by stamping, coloring and die cutting the bees and the cute little bear. The bees are from the Ai Honey Bee Set (5925) and the bear is the Ai FREEBIE Honey Bear. The FREEBIE is available with a $30 purchase. There are several bears to choose from so you can decide which one you like best!
For the coloring we will use the Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following colors: Blender, Sugared Almond Pink, Yellow, Bright Yellow, Flesh Colour, Beige, Mid Brown, Olive Green, and Haze Blue. We can die cut the bees with the coordinating dies and for the bear we can do a bit of fussy cutting, leaving a little white border all the way around, and cutting away the bee for the inside of the card.
For the stitched layers on the card, we will be using the Ai Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies (5063) in a few different sizes. And for the grid layout, I will give you all of the dimensions in today's video! Don't forget to die cut and additional panel for the inside of the card and add your sentiment and little bee!
For a bit more interest, we will wrap the front of the card with some pretty yellow ribbon and layer up the card.
For a finishing touch, let's add a few sparkly gems in a topaz color!
Thank you so much for joining me today! Have a fun and crafty day!
Hello, my Ai watercolor
friends and fans — I’m so happy to be back! My lovely daughter was married last
weekend, and it was such a beautiful celebration for our whole family. With the
help of guest designers Kristen Brown and Julie Worthing, I was able to take
some time off in April to finish up all the wedding preparations. I’m so
grateful to these very talented ladies for stepping in and sharing their
creativity while I was away.
Now that the festivities
have wrapped up and life is settling back into its rhythm, I’m excited to jump
back into the studio and share two new projects with you today. First is a Mother’s
Day card featuring the newly released 6186 – FG Tulip Border. The second is an
adorable honey bear frame using the 6170 – Exclusive Honey Bear 2026 Freebie.
Mother's
Day Tulips Card:
Happy
Mother’s Day weekend to all the amazing moms celebrating this Mother’s Day!
The new Countryside Series includes two
structure sets and three floral foreground border sets. These fabulous new sets
make it easy to create endless mix‑and‑match watercolor scenes. You can use the
Euro Cottage Set or Swiss Villa Set as your background focal points (or any other
small structure that fits), then layer tulips, poppies, or daisies in the front
to create depth.
For my
card, I used 6186 – FG Tulip Border. Each floral border set includes a
sentiment, but since this was a Mother’s Day card, I chose the sentiment from
6039 – Just For Her Set.
Using a stamp platform, I inked the tulip border stamp in 177
for the stems and leaves, and 603 and 743 for the tulips and stamped onto
Canson XL watercolor paper.

Hi Honey! Bear Frame:
How
darling is this sweet little Honey Bear? To create this honey-themed framed
scene, I used the frame die from 5901 – Mini Rectangle Frame Dies and the oval
dies from 5902 – Mini Scalloped Frame Dies. I love how elements from each set
work beautifully together.
The honey
bear is one of six brand-new 2026 exclusive Art Impressions Freebies:
Using my
stamp platform, I inked the 6170 – Exclusive Honey Bear in Versafine Onyx Black
Ink and stamped onto Canson XL watercolor paper. On another piece of watercolor
paper, I stamped the honeycomb from 5925 – Honey Bee Set in Versafine Vintage
Sepia twice — once in the top left and once in the bottom right.
