Springtime Keepsakes by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I have two cute cards to share with you.

One, is what I intended, and one...well, have you ever done something really stupid silly
only to shake your head and say "What was I thinking?" If you have, then you're not alone.

My "boo boo" card is this one. The duck. He was meant to be a lift flap card just like my pink one below but...nope. I made sure THAT didn't happen...lol!

I created the flap, decorated the inside and then remembered I had this new, really cute yellow pom-pom ribbon. Wouldn't that be cute with this card? It sure would. So, without thinking, I threw down some glue strips and stuck in on. Super cute right? But then...yep. You certainly can't open it anymore.

I just shook my head and chalked it up to a learning experience. Oh well.

For my next card, you can see what the duck was also supposed to look like.

This time I used the adorable bunny.

Here is the inside with the flap open.

I hope you like these and I hope that my little mistake will feel better about something you may have done in the past. We all make mistakes and you really can move on with what you have. Most of the time, you're the only one who will notice.

Have a great week everyone!

Frank just wants to be loved...by Reneé Matarese

Love, Love Me Do!

I just love the new challenge from Art Impressions.
Anything love related. Pink or red, Valentines, whatever.
I fell in love with the 6120 – Frankenstein Puppet Set when Art Impressions released him for Halloween. But, why should poor Frank be confined to just one holiday? He needs a little love too.

I feel like he could be compared to Elvis, a "greaser" from Grease or maybe a Beatle.
Anyway, I love him! Hind sight is 20/20. As I'm posting this, I'm wishing I put a little bouquet of flowers in his hand. Oh well, maybe next year.

Easter Bunnies MB by Dori Mendiola

 Happy Thursday AI Friends!

The new matchbooks are here, the new matchbooks are here!!   If you haven't seen them yet, they were released last week and there are four new ones.  Bonnie outdid herself again!  Today, I have the #6014 Easter Bunnies matchbook set to show you.  These are sooo fun to color and create.  A little card in a little package, who can resist?

I stamped the panels onto copic friendly paper with Memento black ink and colored with my copic markers listed below.  This one I colored with lots of bright fun colors.  Who doesn't love Easter and all the bright beautiful colors?
I die cut the panels with the corresponding dies and adhered it all together using pattern paper from the new paper pack #6010 Basic Pink PP.  You will need the #5317 Matchbook template die to assemble these little cards but the die works for all of the matchbook sets.  If you don't know how these go together, check out Bonnie's tutorial - Matchbook tutorial - Bonnie Krebs

These little matchbook sets then fit into this little MB envelope #5318.  Soooo cute!

I hope you enjoyed my card for today and you try out these fun little miniature cards.  There are over 30 different matchbook sets.  You are sure to find one that fits for your perfect someone.

Have a great day and happy creating!!

Stay Fabulous! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the current Art Impressions "Drink Up!" Challenge. This theme is so fun and there are tons of awesome Art Impressions stamp sets that have drinks, but I LOVE the 5928-Stay Hydrated set.

I started by stamping the lady with her large tumbler and used the included dies to cut the image out. Since I love doggies, I used the paw print stamp to create the pattern on the tumbler. This was totally be a cup a would buy!

After I colored the main image, I thought it would cute to include a little doggie on the card. I had a Pomeranian that looked just like the one used on this card and the size of this dog stamp worked great with the lady.

Lastly, I stamped "Stay Fabulous and carry a BIG TUMBLER!" with black ink and think this sentiment goes perfectly with this stylish lady! I also added layers of black and pink card stock, purple glitter paper, and a layer of Art Impressions pattern paper to complete the design.

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you will join in the "Drink Up!" Challenge!
