Stay Fabulous! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the current Art Impressions "Drink Up!" Challenge. This theme is so fun and there are tons of awesome Art Impressions stamp sets that have drinks, but I LOVE the 5928-Stay Hydrated set.

I started by stamping the lady with her large tumbler and used the included dies to cut the image out. Since I love doggies, I used the paw print stamp to create the pattern on the tumbler. This was totally be a cup a would buy!

After I colored the main image, I thought it would cute to include a little doggie on the card. I had a Pomeranian that looked just like the one used on this card and the size of this dog stamp worked great with the lady.

Lastly, I stamped "Stay Fabulous and carry a BIG TUMBLER!" with black ink and think this sentiment goes perfectly with this stylish lady! I also added layers of black and pink card stock, purple glitter paper, and a layer of Art Impressions pattern paper to complete the design.

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you will join in the "Drink Up!" Challenge!

Stay fabulous and carry a big tumbler by Sharon Caudle

 Hello AI Fans!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and celebrated all the wonderful Fathers in your life! I have a card today that features the adorable brand new set #5928 Stay Hydrated! How fabulous is she??!! I love that there are a lot of different skins you can use for your tumbler, and she is just amazing! LOVE her!! Because I used the paw print skin on the tumbler, I decided she needed a little fur baby beside her. So I grabbed the Dog House Cubbies and used the little pooch from that set. I made a simple little scene by making a sky using a cloud stencil and some Distress Oxide ink. Grabbed a piece of polka dotted paper to create the grass with a die from my stash, and then just plopped her on top! Voila! It really was a pretty quick card to make. The images are stamped onto Copic friendly paper using the Misti and then colored with markers which are listed below.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit today! Until next time - stay crafty!!

April Showers Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the "It's Raining Cats and Dogs" Challenge. Art Impressions has so many cute cat and dog themed stamps and I thought it would be fun to have a little doggie playing in a puddle.

The sweet dog is from the 5101 - Dog House Cubbies Set and I used the coordinating included die set to cut him out. I love all the Ai cubbies sets and like to use the little characters with and without the main cubbies main image. The little dog looks so happy!

To complete this card, I stamped "Just a little note" from the 5797 - Little Things Sentiment Set. This sentiment set has so many greetings perfect for year-round cards and projects. I like to have some extra general cards in my card stash just in case I need a quick note. I also enjoy sending people cards randomly to let them know I'm thinking of them.

I hope you enjoyed today's project and are having a wonderful day!

Front Porch Thanksgiving and Thank You cards by ReneƩ Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

There was a new release a few days ago on the Art Impressions website.

NEW PORCH ACCESSORIES!

HOORAY!

I made this card BEFORE that happened though so I made a Thanksgiving porch with what I had to work with.

We have two dogs and our Boomer has a "special" relationship with the squirrels.  He especially HATES them and believes it's his mission in life to chase them all our of our yard.  This is my nod to him.

I also made a Thank You front porch and guess what?  This one was selected for publication!
I'm so excited!

These porch sets have endless possibilities.  I love each and every one of them!

Unfortunately they misspelled my last name but I can live with that.

I'm thankful for my family, friends and my job with Art Impressions.
What are you thankful for today?

I apologize.  The 5039 – Grateful Hearts Set that I used for the sentiment, hat and wheat spray is discontinued now at Ai.  You can still find it on other retail sites so if you want this set, get it now before it's gone forever.  All other products I used are linked below.

Copics used on Thanksgiving Porch:

Dogs galore! by ReneƩ Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing two different cards both with a dog theme.
My first card was made with the 5101 – Dog House Cubbies.

I made this card for my friend's birthday.  Her husband secretly
contacted a bunch of her friends and asked us to donate to the
Humane Society in her name.  She was SO touched when she
found out.
The little paw print cut out was made with 5337 – Dogs Mini Dies.

Don't you love how the little dogs poke
their heads out of the windows and doors?

For my second card I used 4850 – Paws To Love MTF.

This card was made for the same friend.  I sent her this one at work just to brighten her day.

On the inside I used the Dog Mini Dies again as well as the 5333 – Cats Mini Dies because she has a cat and a dog.  I only used two of the three stamps on my card because I didn't do it as a trifold.

Birthday Gang by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the
Dog House Cubbies stamp and die set
from Art Impressions.
I started by placing a black piece of paper across the front of my card base. I added two small blue strips of paper to the top and bottom of my black strip.  Here is a little secret I will share with you ... It is quilling paper.  I buy quilling paper because it is already cut for you and you can use your Copic markers to make any color  you wish.
I colored all of my images. Look at all of those dogs!  Usually I like to color double of everything in case I ruin one, which has been known to happen LoL.  This way I also have extra to make another card next time.
Here is one more look at the finished card. I added my Copic colored images to my card front.  I then added some matching pale green confetti sequins to my card front for some depth. Aren't these dogs and their houses just the cutest?
Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little time with me.  Make sure you come back soon to the Ai blog and see what the team has been up to.

Copics used:

Hope Your Day is Full of Treats

Hi Ai fans!

I love all of the cubbies stamp sets they are so cute. I love all of the many little animals that come with them. It also has dies to cut the animals, windows out and open the doors.  This week I played with the Dog house cubbies set

I can't get enough of dogs right now. We just started to foster puppies at our house so everything is all about dogs. So this stamp set was perfect to play with. This sentiment is fun "Happy Birthday from all of us!" with all of the dogs on the card.

And of course this sentiment is so fun "Hope your day is full of Treats". Who doesn't want to celebrate their birthday with treats.

The cubbie stamp sets have so much detail in them you don't really need to do much more after you color the image in and die cut them out. All I did was stamp the sentiments on some die cut banners and adhere everything to some die cut pattern paper.

Spectrum Noir markers:
IG2, IG5, IG6, TN1, TN2, TN4, DG1, DG2, DG3, BP1, BP2, BP3, CR1, CR3, CR6, PL2, PL3, PL4, GT1, GT2, GT3, EB1, EB2, EB3, EB4, GB1, GB2, GB3, GB4, GB7, PP1, BG2, Blender

Happy Stamping!

Day Full of Treats by Carol Hintermeier

Happy Monday Ai Fans!

Have you tried any of the Cubbies?  They are all so adorable, and being a dog lover, I really like the Dog House Cubbies!  I had fun coloring this in kind of rainbow colors!  This first photo shows how you would close the little doors to put it into an envelope and mail.  When your recipient takes it out, the doors will be closed flat.

This next photo shows how you see the adorable pups with the doors open!  So fun!

This may look very detailed to make, but actually it's pretty quick!  I stamped the images with Copic safe ink and colored the dog house and sign with the Copics listed below.  (Apologies for not have the colors for the dogs.  As I am preparing this post, I realized that I colored the dogs quite a while ago before I had many Copics and was still using some Spectrum Noir markers.  I've lost the list!)  Once you have everything colored, use the included dies to cut it all out.

A few tips that I've learned from using these cute Cubbie sets.  Adhere your critters first, trimming where needed.  I like to add some thin foam tape for a bit of dimension with these sets.  As you are doing this, make sure you don't put foam tape where it shows through the door!  Ask me how I know!  Haha!  I discovered this AFTER I had adhered the dog houses to the card base!!!!   (I saved this by using some Un-Du with a small tool I could slide through the door and under the foam tape--then I used my craft knife to cut and remove it.  The Un-Du will dry and will leave absolutely no residue!! YAY!)

I stamped one of the sentiments from the set directly onto the 5-½" x 4-¼" card base with Versafine.  There are several really cute sentiments included.

I hope you're inspired to give these adorable Cubbie sets a try!  And have learned something from my goof!  LOL!  Have a wonderful, crafty week!
