Pocket Full of Sunshine Challenge 419 Week#2

Hello Ai fans and welcome to week #2 of the Pocket Full of Sunshine challenge here on the
Art Impressions Challenge Blog!

This challenge is pretty flexible.
We want to see SUNSHINE, YELLOW and/or POCKETS.
Show us your interpretation of what a Pocket Full of Sunshine means to you.
Maybe it's a bouquet of yellow flowers?
Maybe it's your favorite yellow Designer Paper?
Perhaps you love making cards or journals with pockets on them.

I was the featured artist last week and I chose to create a yellow house with a sunshine to brighten it. Inside of the house is a mini journal that contains pockets. (You and see the more photos of the house and the journal inside of it here)

Now let's see what our other DT members have created!
So many cute and beautiful creations.

Check out Sharon's snowman sunning himself HERE.

Tasha has an "outside the box" baby card. Love those colors.

Be SURE to visit Dori's post from this morning to
see up close photos of her card and gift set!

Lynn's lovely heart wreath has a full YouTube tutorial HERE.

What a cheery, sunshiny yellow card Janet created!
And, there's more...Full Portfolio Reveal on Saturday!

Pocket Full of Sunshine Seed Journal by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I have the inside of the little house that I shared last Thursday for my challenge feature.
The 6114 – Box Village Template Dies come with a journal cover with pages that you can add.

I believe it fits 6 and I chose to add 3 because mine had seed packets folded in half and tucked inside giving those pages more dimension.

Pruned & Fabulous!

That's my cover page...lol.
Oh GAIL! You're marvelous.

The challenge is to use sunshine, yellow and/or pockets. I chose to use all 3 on my project.
Pocket Full of Sunshine!

For one of my pages I used 6150 – His Love Set and a sentiment from 6076 – Gardener Gail.
The pocket and banner the sentiment is stamped on are part of the house die set. The circles are from
5726 – Nested Circle Dies and 6045 – Scalloped Circle Dies.

For this page I used a frame from the house die set and a flower from 5981 – My Joy Set.

My final pages used dies from 5336 – Garden Mini Dies and one final sentiment from Gail.

This is what the journal looks like tucked up inside the house.

House and Journal side by side.
I hope you enjoyed my little bit of sunshine.

Pocket Full of Sunshine Challenge #419 Week #1

Hello Ai fans and welcome to the new challenge here on the Art Impressions Challenge Blog!
This time we have a Pocket Full of Sunshine!

After viewing my little house, be sure to scroll down to see if you were one of our winners from our Button Up challenge.

I'm the featured artist this week and I chose to create a yellow house with a sunshine to brighten it. Inside of the house is a mini journal that contains pockets. (You'll see that on Tuesday)

For my project, I used the new 6114 – Box Village Template Dies.
Please see the InLinkz below for a complete list of all of the Art Impressions supplies that I used.

This box die set is just the cutest! It comes with a cover and pages to create a little journal or booklet that tucks up inside of it.

I also love how customizable the house is. It was marketed as a Christmas house to hold the Woodland Scene series but it is so much more than that. Two days ago, I shared it as a Valentine house that I created for my fireplace mantel.

This is the cover of my little journal which you'll see the inside of on Tuesday.
Gail looks so happy tending to her garden.
I hope I've inspired you to enter our Pocket Full of Sunshine Challenge.
You might be the next person to win a free stamp set.
See details below.

Also, be sure to scroll down to see the winners of the previous challenge.
