Watercolor Throwback - Potted Christmas Tree

Hello Ai Fans!

Welcome to a special Watercolor Throwback to one of our favorite Christmas videos! You have heard us talk about our Winter Watercolor Playlist and we thought we would feature one of the most popular videos!

This throwback is a quick and easy Potted Christmas Tree! Bonnie used the pot from our Southwest set and made it festive with a candy cane stripe. To create the tree shape, simply draw a triangle above the pot with a pencil. Bonnie then used our Molotow Masking pen to mask a white garland, after stamping her foliage, flowers, and buds from our Clay Pot set. She finished the image with an adorable bow, a small shadow under the tree, and a little Wink of Stella clear glitter!

I can hardly believe it's almost the end of the year.  This has been my first full calendar year with the design year and I feel so blessed to be a part of this extraordinary team!  I am looking forward to seeing what the new year will bring us.  I'm sure it will be pretty exciting and inspiring!  Bonnie, Kate, Annelise and the rest of the Ai team sure work hard to bring us some of the more innovative and fun designs out there.  Now it's time to look back on my 10 favorite designs from the last year.  I had no idea it would be so difficult, but I managed to pair it down.

Hello Ai Friends!

Today is my turn to share my favorite ten cards of 2018.  It's really hard to choose even though I just joined the team back in June!  It's been so fun using these fabulous Art Impression products!   Here are my picks, in no particular order.

I used the Snow Friends Set for this pair of cards featuring this trio of fun snowmen:

I adore this scarecrow from the Happy Fall set:

I had so much fun making the glow-in-the-dark starry background for this sweet girl and her cat from the Halloween Magic Set:

Yes, I love snowmen and especially these from the Watercolor Snowman Set:

This card uses the beautiful Hello Friend Mini Tryfold set:

I have warm thoughts of summer from this card using the Beach Tryfold Set:

Here I watercolored these fun gals from the Girlfriends Set - 3577:

I love beaches and this has to be on my list of favorites.  I used the Island Window set.
