Dana here with quick little Mother's Day card!! If you haven't yet made one, this might be the thing for you!! I used the FDMD Set, perfect to have on hand for your Mother's Day AND Father's Day cards!! 

I started with a watercolor panel that was a little bit smaller than 4 inches. Then I used the leafy stamp from the WC Foliage Set 1 along with the Distress Marker Forest Moss. I would color the stamp with the marker, then stamp along the panel. Stamp several at a time, then add a little bit of water with a paintbrush. I did this all the way around the square panel. 

Next, I used the flower cluster from the Flowering Mailbox set to stamp pink flowers all around the panel. I did it the same way I did the leaves, only with Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar. You can customize by using any leaf and flower stamp you want. And any watercoloring marker will work too!

I stamped the Mother's Day sentiment in the middle of the square panel. Then I used a little bit of Picked Raspberry and water to color the hearts. I added a few sequins to the panel and then added it to some light pattern paper and a card base.

The Lawn Ranger by Karen Day

Hello Ai fans!

Father's Day is just a few days away, so I have a couple of fun masculine cards to share today that you could make for the Dads in your life.  Here is Lawn Ranger Set (Sku #4102):

 The cards are both 5 1/2" square, and are using sentiments from FDMD set (Sku #4454) - this is a great little set to have on hand, that has 3 sentiments each for Father's Day and Mother's Day.

There are all kinds of wonderful masculine images in the Ai store - you're sure to find the perfect one.

Happy Mother's Day by Dana Warren

Hiya Ai Fans!! 

Dana here stopping in with a card for you! Mother's Day is just around the corner and i wanted to share a nice and easy card that can be quickly made for your Mother!! When i started i had something else in mind, but after 3 tries i figured it wasn;t going to work and that i need some new cutting plates for my big shot!!!

I started by die cutting a panel from watercolor paper, then i stamped First Bloom Window with black versafine pigment ink. I messed up the stamping so i turned it over and stamped it better the second time!! LOL!!! Hey, it happens, and the back is just as good as the front!! 

To color the Window i used Spectrum Aqua markers (floral set), they are new to me and this was my first time using them. I did use some distress markers for the pots and to deepen the color of the bunny. 

Since my other die cutting wasn;t working to spice up the card i added a little sparkle with a Wink of Stella to the flowers. Next i stamped the Mother's Day sentiment from the FDMD Set. With a pink marker and water i colored in the hearts at the sentiment.

Disco Set by Karen Day

I have a Father's Day card to share with you today, using one of the fun Shake Your Booty sets: Disco Set (Sku #4307).

My father has been known to wear... well, let's go with "bright" attire on occassion, so I thought this card would work for when he's in a bit of a goofball mood.  I've used the new FDMD Set (Sku #4454) for the Father's Day sentiment.  Here's the inside:

The inside sentiment comes with the Disco Set, and is: "Shake Your Booty!"

His little derriere is paper pieced and popped up on an action wobble!

I also did a version without the Father's Day sentiment, that can be used for a birthday or other occassion.
