Hello everyone!

My name is Simone, and I was asked by Renee if I could fill in for one of her design team members. So here I am as your guest designer for the month of August!
For my project, I decided to use the Crazy Cat Lady SC0652 stamp.

I stamped the image using Versafine Onyx Black ink on Bristol smooth cardstock. To color in the image, I used Zig Kuretake real brush markers. I added some sparkle to the shoes with the Kuretake Clear Glitter Brush pen and used a Posca White 0.7mm pen to add details to her gown and earrings. Once all the coloring was done, I fussy cut the image.
Next, I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock to 3 3/4" x 4 1/2". I used the second largest Square Double Stitched die 5061 and placed it on the 3 3/4" x 4 1/2" paper to cut out the square. After stamping my sentiment and paws with Versafine, I adhered some foam strips along the sides. I then cut another 3 3/4" x 4 1/2" piece of patterned paper and placed my paper with the foam strips on top of it, giving it the look of a Polaroid frame. I placed some thin foam squares on the back of my crazy cat lady and adhered her inside the frame.
The card base is a top-folding 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I cut a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" piece of patterned paper and glued it onto the card base. Finally, I glued my Polaroid frame on top, and the card was complete.
Looking forward to a creative month with all of you!
Best regards,
Simone Carr

Time to Celebrate! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Ai Friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the current "Keep Calm & Celebrate On!" Challenge. For my project, I used the 5226 - Bus Cubbies Set and the 5319 - MB Birthday Set to create a fun mini card.

I love all the Cubbies and MB stamp sets and thought it would be fun to use the MB set in a different way. I started by stamping three images from the MB Birthday Set and used a scissors to cut off the foldable sides. I used glue to adhere the table and shelf to the card and added some foam tape behind the gifts to give them some dimension.

Next, I stamped the little animals from the Bus Cubbies Set and used the included dies to cut them out. The Bus Set also included balloons, so I cut several out and attached them around the room; so festive! I really like how these two sets work perfectly together!

Lastly, I stamped "Make a little wish" from the MB set with black ink on to a blue background. I also attached layers of purple and pink card stock and a pretty silver glitter paper layer to complete the design.

Thank you for checking out today's card and I hope you will join in the Art Impressions "Keep Calm & Celebrate On!" Challenge.

A Pair of Birthday wishes by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!
Today I'm sharing 2 birthday cards with you.
My first card has a boom box from 4999 – Perfect Duet Set.

The verse that I think pairs so well with it is from the new Laugh Lines Set called Rock On.

My second card was made using the from the Matchbook series.

I used the 5319 – MB Birthday Set as well as a couple of pieces from the 5097 – HM Birthday Set.

My friend was so excited when I gave this to her.  She couldn't believe how small and adorable it is!

You need a couple of starter sets when you begin getting hooked on the Matchbooks...and you will...lol.
The first is the 5317 – MB Template Dies. This set forms the room that you'll attach all the little pieces to.

There's an easel on the back to help it stand up.  Double sided papers are great for these sets because you will see the outside as well as the inside.

There's also a 5318 – MB Envelope Dies set to create the perfect little envelope for your room.
