Magnetic School Bus by Dori Mendiola

 Happy Thursday AI Friends!

I have a fun little project today using the #5226 - Bus Cubbies.  This stamp set comes will all of the cute little animals, the bus and the treats on the top along with corresponding dies to cut each of them out.  Instead of a card, I decided to make all of the pieces magnetic.  This is cute on the refrigerator or a magnetic board for the little ones to play with.

I began by stamping all of the images onto copic friendly paper and colored with my copic markers listed below.  I die cut each out with their coordinating dies.  I also cut each out of an adhesive magnetic sheet (sticky side of magnetic sheet against the cutting part of the die) to be placed on the back side of the colored image.  Peel each of the adhesive magnetic backings and adhere to the corresponding colored images.  Each of the pieces should now stick to the refrigerator or magnetic board and let the fun begin.  However, if you choose, you can create a magnetic base.  To do this, I cut a black and a white piece of cardstock using the #5062 - Rounded Rectangle A2 Double Stitch dies.  I also cut two magnetic pieces using the same die.  I adhered the magnetic pieces sticky sides together and then glued the white and black cardstocks to one magnetic side.  The other side will adhere to the refrigerator.

Hope you enjoy this project and have fun making it with other stamp sets, too.  Years ago I made a castle magnet with the #5225 - Castle Cubbies and it turned out sooo cute.  Let your creativity flow!  LOL!

Have a wonderful weekend and keep creating!

Time to Celebrate! Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Ai Friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the current "Keep Calm & Celebrate On!" Challenge. For my project, I used the 5226 - Bus Cubbies Set and the 5319 - MB Birthday Set to create a fun mini card.

I love all the Cubbies and MB stamp sets and thought it would be fun to use the MB set in a different way. I started by stamping three images from the MB Birthday Set and used a scissors to cut off the foldable sides. I used glue to adhere the table and shelf to the card and added some foam tape behind the gifts to give them some dimension.

Next, I stamped the little animals from the Bus Cubbies Set and used the included dies to cut them out. The Bus Set also included balloons, so I cut several out and attached them around the room; so festive! I really like how these two sets work perfectly together!

Lastly, I stamped "Make a little wish" from the MB set with black ink on to a blue background. I also attached layers of purple and pink card stock and a pretty silver glitter paper layer to complete the design.

Thank you for checking out today's card and I hope you will join in the Art Impressions "Keep Calm & Celebrate On!" Challenge.

We're Bus-T-en Out All the Stops! by Janet Axtman

Hi everyone! Janet here with a great little birthday card for a young child. This one features the 5226 - Bus Cubbie stamp set. It includes the bus and all the great little animals seen here. One of the awesome things I like about this set is that the complete bodies are included so you can use them here or in other ways. It's always a good thing when there are multiple uses for your stamp sets. Their small size means these color up with markers, pencils or paint faster than you can say zip-a-dee-doo-dah! The bus rack is an add-on piece so you can use this bus for other events besides birthday. All in all, this is a great set for your stamping collection.

Please check out the Cubbie line at the store. The variety and types of cubbie sets are really amazing and so much fun!

Thanks for stopping by. I sincerely hope you have a great weekend.

Happy Creating!

Scenic Bus Ride by Bri Firth

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Today I am sharing my creation featuring the new Bus Cubbies stamp set. Keeping reading below for more details on how I made this scenic bus ride creation. This card is also featured on my personal blog, check it out here

My interpretation of the "scenic route" includes long car rides throughout the country side! I used white, black, and green cardstock with The Great Outdoors Borders & Builders die set from Trinity Stamps to build the road, grass, fence, and hillside. I used Tumbled Glass Oxide ink to ink blend the sky background. I used a white gel pen to add the clouds and the floral details onto the hillside. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine black ink. I used the Spin & Slide Channels Die-namics from My Favorite Things to create the slider mechanism. I colored the bus and the critters with my Copic Sketch markers. I adhered a piece of vellum to the back of the bus to create a backing. I used the white gel pen to add the final touches to the bus and there you have it, a country side bus scene!

Check back next week for more Ai inspiration made by me!

Bus-t Out All the Stops | By Jessica Shier

Hello Ai Fans!

It's Jessica today. I love the whimsical fun style of this Bus Cubbie set. I also made this super easy by coloring over top of colored paper with pencils. I picked out a bunch of different colors that closely matched each animals main color. Then shaded the card stock with the colored pencils. This really made the coloring quick and it was fun working off of different colors of card stock. I did the same for the bus except the wheels. Those were easily made too. I stamped the wheel stamp on to black card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. After die cutting all the animals, balloons and bus I die cut the bus image again from black craft foam. This will add a even amount of dimension.

I thought the bus would be fun floating in the sky. So, I used a cloud stencil and distress ink to make a background. Black and white bakers twine is knotted around the top of the bus, these will be the balloon strings. I used dimensional circle foam to hold down the string then sticking on each stamped balloon. The sentiment I used from the Bus Cubbie set, is stamped on to a flag die cut.

Bus Cubbies Slider Card by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

I used the New Bus Cubbies Stamp Set for this fun Birthday card.  I combined it with a slider die to make it interactive.
I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth paper with Gina K Designs Black Amalgam Ink and colored them with my Copic markers.  The colors used are listed at the end of this post. I then used the matching dies from the set to cut out all of the images. I placed a piece of decorative paper behind the bus and added all of the cute animals in the windows.
I used the Spellbinders Festive Wreaths Slider die to cut a piece of paper from the Pink Paislee Birthday Bash 6" x 6" patterned paper.  I also cut it with the Rectangle A2 Doublke Stitched Dies and taped the paper together. I attached the paper to a piece of 80 Lb. white card stock that was cut with the slider die. I attached it to a white A2 card.  I stamped the greeting onto the card front where the image lifts up.  The last thing I did was attach the bus to the front of the slider with foam tape.
Copic Colors Used:

Birthday Bus Cubbies Card by Carol Hintermeier

Happy Monday Ai friends!  Have you seen the new Art Impressions Cubbies sets?  My card today uses the adorable Bus Cubbies.  I just think these little animals are so cute!

This is a view with the bus doors closed.

This card was created in the usual "cubbies" way--stamp the images, color, and die cut with the included dies.  I've listed my Copic markers I used below.  I positioned the critters with liquid glue and then added foam tape to the back of the bus.

For the background, I hand cut a mask for the hill, added it to the sky portion and inked on some Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide.  I used the other piece of the mask to cover up the hill, and inked some clouds with a cloud stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide.  I sprinkled some water drops over the panel and blotted them with a paper towel.  Then I added drops of some white ink spray and let it dry.  Next I die cut it with a Rectangle Double Stitched die and attached it to a pink layer.  This was attached to a top-folding 5-½" x 4-¼" card base.

Then I attached the bus to the panel.  I popped up the balloons with foam tape and used a black pen to draw in the strings.

I stamped the cute sentiment in black ink, cut it into a flag shape and popped it up with foam tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Have a fabulous, crafty week!
