Hi Valentine! - By Crystal Schneider

Hi AI Fans!
Happy Valentine's day!
I have been enjoying making lots of Valentine's day cards this year. This week I had fun playing with this adorable squirrel set Nuts About You.

It's a really flat card I used a Oval Double Stitched die and stamped my image onto the oval. I wanted the squirrels to look like they are floating in the sky so I cut a piece of paper with some waves and moved it around the background and inked it in blue in.

To add a little bit of detail I stamped "Hi VALENTINE!" in red ink and "THERE'S NUTTIN' BETTER THAN BEING WITH YOU!" in black ink.

TO finish the card I used two different sizes of the Rectangle Double Stitched dies and die cut some pattern paper and layered it all with some foam tape. Then adhered it to a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" card base.

Spectrum Noir Markers:
DR3, DR6, DR7, MB2, MB4

Happy Stamping!

Baby Squirrel Valentine by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

I had to use the Nuts About You 4885 stamp set another time for two Valentine card's.  This time I chose to use the cute baby squirrel holding a huge nut.  I decided to do a unique fold to this card front and add several layers of different circle cuts using foam tape to set them apart.

I stamped the images onto Spectrum Noir paper using Intense Black Ink from Simon Says Stamp and colored the image using Copics.  My colors are listed below. I used a Sakura Black Glaze pen to add dimension to the squirrel's eyes.  I added Diamond Stickles to the heart.
I cut the squirrel image using Lifestyle crafts Nesting Die Circles. I fussy cut the nuts.  I used the Lori Whitlock Framelits W/ Stamps set to cut out all of the layers.  The paper collection is the MME Lost and Found Heirloom 6x6 Collection. Everything is edged in Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Ink.

The card base is really simple.  I just cut my 8 1/2' x 11' piece of paper to 4 1/2' x 11'.  the I scored it at 5 1/2" like normal.  For this design, I scored the front piece in another 1 1/4" in.  I use a strong adhesive to tape down the 1 1/4" piece to make my card.

Copics Used:
Squirrel - E33, YR14, E37, RV10, E31
Nut - (Spectrum Noir RB1, RB3)
Lid - E35, E37, E49
Heart - RV10, RV13
Shadow - C-3, C-1, blender

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

Nuts About You by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

It's getting closer to February and that means Valentine's!!  AI's Nut's About You stamp set is perfect for valentines or anytime you need a love themed card!!

I started by stamping the squirrel and nets along with the Nuts About You sentiment. With my Spectrum Noir markers, I color the image and then fussy cut it out. I used dr1, EB1, EB2, EB5, EB6, TN9.

From some Crate Paper paper pad Kiss Kiss, I die cut a heart out of a text pattern, I also trimmed a heart pattern for my card base. I added the heart pattern and then the text heart dies to card base. From kraft, I trimmed a strip and added it to the card with foam tape.

I added the squirrel and nuts so it looks like he is sitting on the kraft. With a small heart, I die cut the sentiment and added it to with foam tape. Last I added some wood dots.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Nuts About You by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

We're less than a month away from Valentine's Day so I made up two more Valentine cards. They're similar, yet different.  I used Nuts About You 4885. This set has the cutest puns as well as the simple sentiment that I used. The images are really fun to color.

I used Copics and Spectrum Noir alcohol markers together to color us my images.  I stamped the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Paper with the Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink pad and then colored them with my alcohol markers.

For the first card I fussy cut the image and raised it over the decorative paper layers with foam tape.  The decorative papers I used are from the Lost and Found Heirloom collection by My Minds Eye.

The second card I die cut the colored image from the My Favorite Things Double Stitched STAX die cuts and foam taped it onto the decorate paper layer. The decorative papers I used are also from the Lost and Found Heirloom collection by My Minds Eye.

Here is the list of the markers I used
I used Copic markers except where noted
Bird - B00, ( Spectrum Noir AB1, AB3)
Envelope - B00, Blender
Squirrel - E33, YR14, E37, RV10, tummy E31

Nuttin' Better by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

Dana, here with a card featuring the new Nuts About You clear stamp set. Don't put away your valentine stamp sets, love happens all year long!! This set has a few sentiments that would be great for someone you love or even a great friend!!

I started by cutting some pattern paper with a stitched rectangle, then I placed the Tiny Heart Stencil by Simon Says Stamp over the panel. With some dye ink that matched I inked the tiny hearts, then removed the stencil and inked around the edge. From the same paper pad, I die cut some clouds from a white pattern paper and edged them lightly with the same ink I used for the tiny hearts.

Next, I stamped the image with the two squirrels and using my Spectrum Noir Markers and Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers to color them! I used: (SN) EB1, EB2, EB5, EB6, GB8. (SNI) AP1, AP3, CR11. When I was done coloring them, I fussy cut them out and then used a black marker to color the edges.

I added the stenciled panel to a white background and figured that my squirrels needed a ground to lift off from so I hand cut a wave from some Kraft card stock. There was some overhand on the three sides that I just trimmed off.

Then I added the squirrels and clouds with foam tape, trimming off the overhand of the clouds. Last I stamped the sentiment and trimmed it to a basic rectangle and added it to the bottom left of the card with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stamping!!

saving all my love by Diane Zechman

Hello Ai friends and happy Thursday!
Today I am sharing another card using the new Art Impressions valentine set, 4885- Nuts About You.  For this card I went with some plaid papers in masculine colors.  Masculine cards are easy to create with these sweet squirrels!

How cute is this squirrel? He is hard to resist! I added a few more acorns since he loves them so much. ;)  I also fussy cut the ribbon and hearts image and placed it above the sentiment oval.
Have a great day and… happy stamping!
