Farm Living Card by Tasha!

Happy Friday Ai Fans!
Tasha here sharing a card created with the cute #5180 Ai Barnyard Animals Cubbies Stamp Set! I'm from Wisconsin and we have tons of farms here, so I could not wait to make a card using all these sweet barnyard animals!

All the images were stamped with black hybrid ink and colored with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut the barn and little animals out. I love all the windows and think it's so cool that the barn doors open!

The sky was created by ink blending dark yellow and orange on to yellow paper with a sunburst stencil. The sun rays look awesome behind the barn! I also added distress ink on top of the grass to allow the stitched edges to show up more.

After I decided on the placement, I glued all the animals on to the center card. The ones hanging out of the windows are taped down making it easy to keep them in the right place. I also added a fence on each side of the barn for more detail.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment "Hay There" with the same black ink and added two paper layers before adhering it to a white card base. This little scene is so happy and would be great to send to anyone, anytime of the year!

Thanks for checking out my card and I hope you have a great day!

Hen House Cubbies - Pop Up Farm Fun by Janet

Happy Saturday and the start to the ever popular Memorial Day Holiday weekend here in the U.S.A.! This is the official start to summer and to celebrate, my project features the new Hen House Critter Cubbies set. I added a twist to this by making the hen house into a pop-up feature when the card is opened.

The freebie stamps this year have a definite farm vibe and I used three of them on the front of this card. They are perfect to give a hint of what will be found inside. Aren't they adorable?

If you'd like to see how I made this card, check out the video tutorial below. I'll show you how to create the pop-up mechanism using a paper cutter and a few simple measurements. You won't believe how easy it is to create this look which could be done with many of the "house" style Critter Cubbies sets.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great weekend!

Happy Creating!

Oh Frap by Niccole Kulig

Hello Ai fans!!

I am here today to share a fun card I made using the Spring Chicken set from Art Impressions.  This set is so fun.
The first thing I did was choose my stamps. I absolutely LOVE this chicken from the Spring Chicken set.  From there I chose my paper.
I colored my chicken with my Copic markers.  The list of colors I used is at the end of this post. I stamped my sentiment bottom center and I raised my chicken up with foam tape.
I wanted to show a close up so you could see all of the layers used.  There are seven layers of paper to this card.
Here is one more look at the card.  I added Wink of Stella to her glasses and her coffee and steam.  I was going to add Crystal Effects to her glasses but I though the Wink of Stella added just as much shimmer with out the dry time. I had a lot of fun putting this card together.  I even sat and put together a few backgrounds for future cards after all of the measuring. for each layer.

Copics used:
BG000
C0, C1, C3, C5
E41, E43
R20, R21, R22, R24, R27
W00,
Y15, Y17
YG23
YR04, YR07

Thank you so much for stopping by and spending some time with me.  Please stop back again soon.

Until next time ... Hugs & inky fingers!
