Birthdays

Hi Everyone,
I decided to design a birthday card, since they happen all throughout the year. So if it's your birthday, Happy Birthday!!

Here is a tip for you:
I needed the "happy birthday" sentiment in more of a square than the rectangular shaped one that I have. So I stamped the sentiment on CS, next I stamped it again underneath the 1st stamping, lining up the word "birthday" under the word "happy". I cut the CS and now I have the sentiment in the square shape I needed for this card. Try it. Now you can have 2 looks out of one stamp.

Supplies used:
Stamps - Sentiment E587, Mini Sunflower F2692
Paper/Card stock - Yellow CS, Yellow Shimmer Paper, White Shimmer Paper, White CS
Punch - MS Double Arches
Copic Markers - Y11, Y1y, YG45
Ink - Distress Ink Vintage Photo, Fresco Chalk Cortez Sun
Ribbon

Have a great day!!!

Something else than a card:)

Hi everyone!! Hope you all have a great weekend!! I just came home from Masala, Kirkkonummi (Finland) where was crafting-happening called Leimailutaivas. There were many crafting-stores from Finland and also one from Germany and one from Sweden!! I found some very nice crafting-stuff there, and I like to show one material I just bought.. It is called Shrink Plastic. I´m sure many of you know Shrink Plastic already. If you don´t know this material, you can ask it from your local crafting store. Please be careful with it, and read information carefully:)

I like keyrings, especially when they are unique:) Today I made keyring to our garage. I used Antique Car -stamp, you can find it here. I used black Archival Ink and promarkers "cocoa". If you like to make keyring too, remember to make hole for the chain before heating.

Here you see how much does Shrink Plastic shrink:

If you like to have more information about this, please just ask. I´ll try to explain more specifically:)
Remember, you can use any stamp you like!!

A Foggy Nite

Hi Everyone
I just love trees and since fall is on its way in, I thought I'd use this tree that I just received. And I tried to make it really eerie looking.

I added 2 corners using holographic paper and I toned them down using a Copic Marker and the bottom one looks a little scribbly, sorry for that. Sometimes lighting or lack there of, just works against me.

To achieve this look, stamp black CS with VersaMark, cover with clear EP and heat. Next using chalks or Perfect Pearls sponge on the gold color around the moon and purple thru the mid section and a green gold at the bottom.Next ink up the stamp again and then stamp trees again to make the scene appear to have more trees in a foggy area. When you stamp the VersaMark onto the chalked CS make sure you clean the stamp, as it will be removing the chalk for the CS. I also extended the trees to the purple panel just to add more interest.

Supplies used:
Art Impressions Stamps - Lg Birch P1398, Bats w/ Moon F1108
Perfect Pearls - Gold, Green, Purple
Ink - VersaMark
Paper - Purple CS, Black CS, Holographic CS

This is a  great technique so give it a try.

Stop back tomorrow to see the new weekly challenge.
