Awesome Possum Birthday Card by Tasha!

Happy Friday Ai Fans!
Tasha here sharing a new card created with the sweet 5282-Possum Set from Art Impressions!
I just love possums and thought this cutie with the balloon would look super adorable surrounded by rainbow clouds. I stamped the ballon directly on the card and layered the possum to look like he was floating. He looks so happy with his party hat!

The greeting "Have an Awesome Possum Birthday" was stamped with a red ink to match the balloon. I also added a glittery frame around the sentiment to bring in tons of sparkle!

Lastly, I added layers of bright cardstock and a yellow polka-dot pattern paper before adhering the card to a light pink card base. Th pastel colors are perfect for spring and I love the soft fluffy clouds in the background!

Thank you for checking out today's card and I hope you are inspired to create a card with the 5282-Possum Set!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Sending A Birthday Greeting card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a card created with the new 5451 Special Window Set!

This window scene is perfect for year-round birthday cards and I love that it includes an extra stamp! The set also includes a coordinating die to allow you to cut the gifts out and add them to your project or use it with the fun 5408 ShadowBox Window Die Set!

I stamped the scene with black ink and colored the images with Copic Markers. I love how the green landscaped background looks with the pretty flowers! This would also be nice as a Fall birthday scene; I may need to try that next!

This set also has a sentiment that frames the design. I love the handwritten greeting and the little cupcake on the corner!

Lastly, I added some fun cupcake pattern paper (inspired b the little cupcake image) and added some colorful cardstock to complete the project.

Thank you so much for checking out my card today and I hope you enjoyed a peek at the new 5451 Special Window Set!

NEW Critter Cubbies - It's your Birthday! Bus-t out all the stops! by Sharon

Hello AI Fans!!

Today I'm excited to get to introduce you to a brand new stamp set from Art Impressions Cubbies line!! This was such a fun card to make, and actually pretty easy too!  I just love all these adorable little critters that come included in this set!

I started out by stamping everything out onto Cryogen white paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I always use my stamp positioner just in case something doesn't stamp completely.

Then colored up the bus with Copic markers and used the included die to cut it out.

I decided I wanted to build a little road scene, so cut out the hillside using one of my dies, and then created the road by just using a black strip of cardstock, a ruler, and a white gel pen.

Cut the blue cardstock for the backdrop, then cut the trees and clouds I wanted to use.

I colored up all the adorable critters in this set, again using Copic markers.

Don't you absolutely love that the dies are included in this set??  I just hold them in place using a little washi tape.

After that, I just adhered everything in place and the card was finished!! What a fun card to give!!

Hope you've enjoyed your visit and until next time - stay crafty!!

Birthday Gang by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the
Dog House Cubbies stamp and die set
from Art Impressions.
I started by placing a black piece of paper across the front of my card base. I added two small blue strips of paper to the top and bottom of my black strip.  Here is a little secret I will share with you ... It is quilling paper.  I buy quilling paper because it is already cut for you and you can use your Copic markers to make any color  you wish.
I colored all of my images. Look at all of those dogs!  Usually I like to color double of everything in case I ruin one, which has been known to happen LoL.  This way I also have extra to make another card next time.
Here is one more look at the finished card. I added my Copic colored images to my card front.  I then added some matching pale green confetti sequins to my card front for some depth. Aren't these dogs and their houses just the cutest?
Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little time with me.  Make sure you come back soon to the Ai blog and see what the team has been up to.

Masculine Happy Birthday by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!
I am stopping by today to share another card I made using the Baby Boy stamp set from Art Impressions. I wanted to show another masculine card. I love sets that are versatile.
I started by layering my card base with a white piece I used an embossing folder on.  I then layered a green strip across the center. I added the sentiment "Happy Birthday" in the top right on the green piece. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is a stamp from the Meerkat set. I actually only used a portion of the stamp that says "Happy Birthday from the Meerkat".  I added a white strip in the center.
I finished it by stamping three sailboats across the front. I Copic colored them with matching colors. I finished it off with yellow Nuvo Drops.
Here is one more look at the finished card.
I really like the polished look of it and how it could be really for any occasion for anyone from a young boy to an older gentleman just like the card I shared last week.I think we all probably need more masculine cards in our stash!  :-)

Happy Birthday to One Fabulous Chick by Niccole Kulig

Hello Ai fans!

I am here today to share yet another card using the adorable Spring Chicken set.  I am on quite the chicken kick at the moment.

I used the same navy card stock with a red frame. This time though I had some left over chicken feet for the recent Animal Challenge. I couldn't let the little feet go to waste.

I masked out the "Oh Frap" that is on the coffee cup before I stamped my chickenI wanted it to be a fabulous chicken for a birthday card without that sentiment.  I colored her with my Copics.  I fussy cut her out and applied her to my card with foam tape.

I added Wink of Stella to the flower on her hat and her glasses.  I finished it off with a few yellow Nuvo Drops.

Here is one more look at the finished card.  These chickens are my favorite at the moment.  I just love how cute they are.  They are versatile as well; you could use other sentiments with them.
