Dancing Queen by Cheri Burry!

Hi Ai Fans!

"Dancing Queen, you are young and sweet, only seventeen"........ (is the song in your head now LOL). This Gal may not be "young" but she sure is sweet and boy can she dance! This is the "Dancer Wiggle Wobble" from Art Impressions. 

The "Wiggle Wobble" sets come complete with the images, dies, mini action wobble and mini brads! Everything you need to create a fun and interactive card! My paper is from the Doodlebug So Punny 6x6 Collection. I created the card base with a cut file from the Silhouette Store to showcase my "Dancer" on.

Here you can sort of see the mini wobble in place.

Remember Age Gets Better With Wine Card by Crystal Schneider

This week I have been working on a card using the Wine Tasters set.

I had so much fun working on this card these ladies sitting around drinking wine are so fun. 

I love the sentiment that goes with this stamp set. "Remember age gets better with wine!" how fun is that?!?

It was such a fun stamp set to I thought they needed to have some bright happy clothes on so I colored them all with some fun orange, yellow, and blues. 

For the pattern paper I love the fun bright colorful patterns of Crate Papers 6X6 Bloom paper pad.

Swagger by Dana Warren

If you know someone who has broken a leg, the Swagger Set is the perfect stamp set for a get well card! 

I started by stamping the image and coloring him with my Spectrum Noir markers. I used: AG1, AG2, AG4, EB6, IG1, IG2, IG4, IG6, TB6, TB7. He is fairly easy to color, then I just fussy cut him out!

From My Mind's eye Hooray! paper pad I picked out a polka dot pattern and added it to a white card base. Then I used a square die to cut two different sized squares from two different patterns. 

I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and used small square die to cut it out. I added the two pattern squares to the card with double-sided tape. Last I added the sentiment and image with foam tape.

Little Whoot's by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

Do you ever find yourself wanting to make a bigger card with a small image?  That's what happened to me with my Little Whoot image. I wanted a few owls on my card front and didn't have one of the larger Whoot images, so I used what I had to stretch my stamps.  As you can see, I was in a colorful mood.

I stamped the image three times onto Spectrum Noir paper with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink and colored it with Copic markers.  The colors are listed below.  I stamped an extra owl and colored him in teal like the middle owl and fussy cut it leaving a small border of white paper.  It is attached over the middle owl with a mini action wobble.

 The main layer on the card base is white card stock that was embossed with a We R Memory Keepers embossing folder. I used the Echo Park Happy Birthday Girl 6x6 paper pad on to cut five banners. Everything was edged with Pink Peony Archival Ink. I didn't add a sentiment to the outside of this card.  I figure that I'll add one to the inside when I need to use it.

Fluttery Piggy by Carol Hintermeier

Hello Ai Fans!

I've got a sweet pink pig that's just fluttering to wish a happy birthday to that someone special!

I colored the fluttering pig with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I also used a marker to tint the brads so they will blend in a bit.   I used a stitched oval die to cut an oval from watercolor paper.  I stamped the stones, grass and flowers with Marvy Leplume II markers and blended them out with a damp brush.   I really love combining Art Impressions water color stamps with traditional stamping!

The pull mechanism is really easy to make, so don't be intimidated!  There are very clear instructions on the back of the stamp packaging or you can watch the helpful YouTube video here.  I used a corner rounder that I've had forever to add a decorative edge to the pull tab before adhering my little die cut and stamped oval sentiment.

This photo shows the tab pulled, and the cute little pig fluttering away!  When the tab is up, it's out of the way for mailing and also hides the little slit.


She's got some Glossy Accents on her nose and hooves for a little extra dimension.

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing another thank you card that I made for my daughter's scholarship wins.

For my card I used 5002 – Sloth-some Set from the Funny Farm line.

I embossed the white cardstock and then used green water color pencils to color them. Next I added some stickles to add some sparkle. 

I used one of the verses from the set on the inside along with a die cut branch with leaves.

Today I've got one of my favorite Girlfriend stamps to show you!  It's the Picture Perfect Set #4130.  I really love the sentiments that come with this set! I stamped it onto Cryogen White paper and colored them up with Copic markers which are listed below.  I have had this stamp set for forever and NEVER grow tired of it!!
