We're calling it Just For You!

We want to see your Gift Card Holders and Gift Pockets, Gift Boxes and Bags, treat holders...anything that says this is Just For You!

This is perfect with graduations coming up. Or, create something for a birthday, wedding, retirement, housewarming, new baby or just because you care about someone.

She's our Featured Artist for this challenge and she has an amazing, Multi-Pocket Gift Card Holder to help inspire you. 

 Hi everyone! 

My "Just For You!" Challenge project is a multi-pocket gift card holder featuring the new 5811-Gift Card Pocket Dies. This gift card holder is easy to make and perfect for any occasion!

Step 1: Cut a piece of card stock to 3" x 11" 

Step 2: Score at 8-1/2", 7-3/4", 4", and 3-1/4". 

Step 3: Use the pocket base die to cut several pockets. I used four (4) for my holder, but you can cut more pockets. This holder can easily hold six (6) with gift cards.

Step 3: After you assemble the pockets, use a small circle die or punch to cut the same size hole on the back side of the pocket as shown below. This makes it super easy to pull the pockets.

Step 4: After the holes are cut, use a trimmer to even out the pockets as shown below. 

Step 5: Use the shorter side of the pocket base die to cut a piece of pattern paper. This is a great way to use scraps and it will add a pretty pattern to the inside of the card holder.

Step 6: (Optional) I used the 5780 - FB Sitting Dog stamp set to add a little doggie to the front pocket. I love how cute the doggie looks peeking over the pocket!

Step 7: To attach the pockets to each other, use liquid adhesive and only apply glue to the center of the back of each pocket. You want to be able to pull out the pockets and gluing them completely down will not allow them to extend all the way. 

Step 8: After all the pockets are connected, cover the back of the last pocket with liquid glue and attach it to the inside of the holder.

Step 9: (Optional) I used the included "Thank You" die to add a greeting to the inside of the pocket holder.  This large script lettering looks awesome against the plaid paper.

Step 10:  To add more color to the front of the holder, I attached a piece of Art Impressions heart paper paper to the front panels. I also stamped "A Gift For You" on to a layered frame and added a teal enamel heart sticker. 

Step 11: To complete the project, attach a small Velcro dot to keep the holder closed.

Mini Journal "Gift Box" and a tutorial for the Gift Card Pocket Bow by Reneé Matarese

 Happy Tuesday everyone!

Today I'm sharing a box that I made using the new 5805 – Mini Journal Box Dies.

The gingham paper is from 5741 – Valentines Paper Pack.

My friend's name starts with K so I used a die from 5562 – Journal Letter Die Set.

The little oval "tag" was made using the center of the oval frame in the Journal Template Die set.

I cut off the bottom to make it fit in the pocket.

I may just have happened to have some Reese's Thins laying around and discovered

that two of them fit perfectly into the little box as well.

Though I didn't use a bow on my box, I recently received a question about how to assemble

the bow from the new 5811 – Gift Card Pocket Dies.

Here's a quick picture tutorial showing how to put these adorable bows together.

I must say that I LOVE them!!

Step 1: Die cut the necessary pieces.
You'll need two of the one that looks like a fishing bobber.

Step 2: Put a dot of glue on the oval shapes and fold them over.
Don't crease them because you want them to be "fluffy."

Step 3: Glue them onto the long piece overlapping them a bit in the center.

Step 4: Place a dab of glue in the middle and add the little strip of paper to it as shown.

Step 5: Flip it over and fold down the top part of the strip and glue it down.

Step 6: Put another dab of glue down and fold up the bottom portion of the little strip.

Flip it over and you have a sweet, little bow.

Mini Journal Template along with new box dies and Mini Journal Birthday Set

 Hello AI Fans!! 

Today I'm sure excited to show you another Mini Journal I made using new sets released this year by Art Impressions.  I can't even begin to tell you how much I love making these Mini Journals! They are so much fun!!! I honestly can't stop making them! I must say I was so excited when Art Impressions released new sets that are made to coordinate with the Mini Journals!! The box is SOOOOO CUTE and easy to make and decorate!! The journals fit in them perfectly! I will say you don't want to use a lot of dimensionals, or you'll end up having to use a belly band around the box. LOL! I learned that the hard way. haha  I forgot to mention that I used Art Impressions Paper. I love the colors and patterns! We will start with a video I made of the Mini Journal, and individual pictures will follow. There's a long list of sets I used, and you can find them all below in the Link Deli list.  I really hope you enjoy!!!

Mini Birthday Journal & Gift Box by Janet

 Oh my goodness! Just when you thought the mini journals couldn't get better, out comes this adorable gift box! It fits the mini-journals perfectly and I love that the box protects the journal and makes it easy to wrap and give as a gift. It's the perfect touch!

The box is created with the new 5805 - Mini Journal Box Dies. This set has everything you need to make and decorate your box. It even comes with the cutest little butterfly and bee dies. There are frames and borders, a little heart pocket and more! In my box, I used a frame die to cut a window in the cover. I used a lattice die from the set to create a bridge from one side of the window to the other. I cut two butterflies and layered them for more dimension and added a few small gems to the body. I also put two corners on the cover. The die for the corners come from the 5718 - Mini-Journal Template Set. This set is also what is used to create the journal itself. 

To make the journal, I used the die set to cut out the cover and clasp with 5835 - Mini PP. The cute cake, present and balloon are from the new 5793 - Mini Journal Birthday Set. Here you can see just how nicely the journal fits in the box. I used the back side of the lattice that shows in the front to heat emboss the birthday sentiment using a phrase from the 5797 - Little Things Sentiment Set.

I love this little box and precious mini journal that fits inside. I have not yet made the pages but look forward to doing that soon!
