Next Stop the North Pole! Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Art Impressions Friends!

Tasha here sharing a new holiday card featuring the 5929 - Christmas Train Set. Today is the first day of November, so it's time to get a jump start on holiday card making and this set is perfect for this year's Christmas cards, gift tags, and craft projects!

This set includes the coordinating dies and you can mix and match the train cars to fit your project. I decided to create a slimline card and wanted to use as many little penguins that I could fit; I love penguins!!! My favorite part was coloring the little hats and scarves, I made each one a different color and used a white gel pen to give a knitted look.
For the greeting, I embossed "Choo-Choo Merry Christmas" directly on to one of the train cars and love how the bright white color pops against the dark red. To go with the holiday theme, I colored the train in shades of red & green and attached holly to three cars for extra detail.

Lastly, I added a a night sky and white paper for the ground to resemble a snowy hill; I like the Winter night look. To continue with the holiday theme, I attached layers of black and red card stock, and snowflake pattern paper. I also adhered little peppermint shaped enamel pieces to the train's wheels and added red glitter to the berries to complete the design.

Thank you for checking out today's card and I hope you enjoyed a peek at the new 5929 - Christmas Train Set.

Have a great day!

You Warm my Heart by Crystal

Hi Ai fans! This week I had fun I made a few cards using Christmas slimline set and I have one of my favorites to share with you all today. I didn't make a slimline card with the Christmas slimeline set I used a couple of the smaller images from the set.

I stamped one of the birds and the bunny onto smooth white card stock and colored them in with alcohol markers. Once I was done coloring them in I die cut them out with the coordinating dies that come with the stamps.

I used the little images to make a little scene in the woods with glitter card stock as snowy hill and die cut some trees. I die cut some stars for the tops of the trees. I stamped the sentiment "You warm my HeaRt" onto a double banner stitched die. I matted the little scene onto some pattern paper. I then adhered the whole panel to a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" top folding card base.

Happy Stamping!

Slimline Snowman Christmas Card by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Christmas Slimline stamp set. It comes with the matching dies to make it very simple to cut out all of the images.  I also used the new Slimline Double Stitched Dies on this festive card.
I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers.  The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post.  I then cut the images out with the matching dies that come in the set.
I then cut the images out with Cutterbee scissors and set them aside.  I stamped the greeting onto a thin strip of white card stock using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
To finish the card I used the new Slimline Double Stictched Die set.  I cut out a layer of burgundy card stock, white catd stock and a piece of patterned paper using the slimline dies.  I colored the white layer with my Distress Oxide Inks and the Ranger Mini Blending Tool.  I used the colors Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean.  I cut out a snow bank from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Die set. I added the burgundy layer to a white slimline card. I then added the patterned paper to one card and the ink blended layer to another card.  I attached the snow bank along the bottom of the panel and added the snowman bird and bunny images to the card with foam tape. I added the greeting flat. I then added some White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops to the main images.
Copic Colors Used:
Blue 0 B02, B00, B0000
Snow - B000, B0000, 0
Pink - R85, R83, R81
Green - YG67, YG65, YG61
Brown - E74, E71, E70
Orange - YR14, Y15
Bunny - W3, W1, W0

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

Christmas Truck Interactive Card by Janet

Hello! It's Janet with a new card for you today. Have you seen the new Rides Interactive Series just released? So far there are three stamp sets and they are awesome. I especially like that all the images are interchangeable between the three sets. The images can also be used on their own without the cars or trucks to give you maximum versatility.

Today I'm showing you the card I made using the new Christmas Truck Set and the Slimline Dies Set. There is a lot packed into this one. It includes the truck, separate fenders for the wheel wells, two presents, a tree, a candy cane, wreath, snowman, star, bow, string of lights and sign. I really love that this set comes complete with matching dies. That's a lot packed into one set!

I invite you to watch the video I made for this card. Find it by clicking on it below.

I chose to create a slimline scene. After arranging goodies into the truck, I put it on an action wobble. It's so fun to make the truck shake. I arranged a package, candy cane and some magic dust (aka sequins!) to the rear of the truck. This makes it appears that along the way, a few things escaped!

I hope you enjoyed the card I made for you today. I invite you to make a visit to the store to see all the wonderful new stamps sets released so far!

Happy Creating!
