Hi Art Impressions Friends!

Tasha here sharing a card featuring the fun new 5926 - Fishing Boat Set. This fish-themed set is perfect as we head into Summer and makes a great Father's Day card! The little fisherman looks so happy driving his boat and I love all the accessories!

For this card, I created a stenciled background using Distress Oxide Inks and stamped "Let's Go Fishing!" with black ink on to the water. I think the layered waves look awesome with the different shades of blue ink and the green trees reminds me of boating on a lake in Wisconsin; I love lakes!

To create the decorated fishing boat, I stamped the boat, fisherman, and his accessories with black ink and cut the images out using the included dies. I like that the dies cut openings for the windows to allow the fisherman to look as if he is driving the boat and waving as he cruises down the water. You can also totally customize the project since there are several different accessories you can mix and match, so each card can have a different look.

Lastly, I added layers of brown card stock and brown plaid paper to complete the card. I hope you enjoyed today's project and are having a wonderful day!

Today I'm sharing a summer themed card with you that I made using the 5455 – Birthday Buggy Set and the 5509 – Beach Accessories.

The Ai Rides series is so much fun because you can mix and match all of the sets to create just the theme you want.  

My card was made with the Art Impressions Summer Fun challenge in mind.

I also used 5399 – Gull-Friends Set for the verse, shell, starfish and of course the adorable seagull. 

I mean, what beach scene is complete without a seagull?

My mom's first car was a powder blue 65 VW Bug so I modeled my car after hers.

Just Cruisin' Cards by Tasha!

Tasha here sharing two cards featuring the 5455-Birthday Buggy Set! The Ai Rides collection of stamp sets are so fun to color and there are several accessory sets that coordinate with the cars! 

My first card is a beach scene created with the 5509 – Beach Accessories. These beach items are so cute and there are so many stamps to mix and match to personalize your project. I love the sun hat and tote bag!

The second card features the buggy with the 5510 – Sport Accessories Set. The bright green car and all the colorful sports gear is perfect for a birthday or a card for a coach. I like that this set includes the sport equipment and extra accessories like the cooler and hat, so you can select the right items to fit your design. 

For extra color, I added bright yellow stars to the background and a glitter layer for sparkle. I love how bright and cheerful this card is and think this set is great for year-round projects!

Sea Time is Free Time! by Janet Axtman

 

Hello Ai fans! One of the things my family enjoys about living in the Carolinas is that beach access is plentiful and close. With that in mind, I made this card thinking about an upcoming trip to Folly Beach near Charleston, SC. The truck comes from the new Rides #5511 Floral Truck Set. I filled the truck with the #5509 Beach Accessories. I used Copic markers to color all the images. 

After creating the sun rays background with a stencil, I cut a smaller background with #5062 Rounded Rectangle Double Stitched Dies and a slightly bigger mat with the same set. As final touches, I added three butterflies from the Floral Truck Set and a sentiment from the #5397 Submarine Cubbies Set. I cut out the sentiment with the  #5064Circle Double Stitched Dies.

The images for this card were so much fun to color. I've included a little closer up view of them below.

Birthday Buggy Graduation and Birthday cards by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing two cards that I made using 5455 – Birthday Buggy set from the new
Ai Rides series.

Our daughter just graduated last Saturday with her Bachelor's in Fine Arts. I used the 5502 – Craft Bag and Die Set. She has two more years to go to student teach and take all of her teaching classes because she wants to be a high school art teacher at which point she'll have her Master's Degree.

She'll be certified K-12 and is going to look into what else she'd need should she decide to teach at the college level.



She attended SUNY Oswego and their colors are green and gold.  She drives a Jeep now but her last car was a VW Beetle so I knew these sets were the perfect match to make a card for her.

I used the 

5133 – Flag Double Stitched Dies on the sentiment which came from 5277 – Graduation Set.

While I had those stamps out I decided to make a birthday card to add to my stash!
The verse is from the Hobby Lobby 5477HL Interchangeable Car Set exclusive.

The gift boxes in the corner of both cards are from the  Hobby Lobby set too.

This set is so fun and it just makes me smile!

Hello everyone!

Don't you just love the new Ai Rides flower truck and all of the fun accessories that are now available??

It's one of my favorite series!

I've used 
5511 – Floral Truck Set
for my first card.  The variety of flowers and the delicate 

butterflies are so wonderful.

I used pop dots to stagger the depths of the flower pots.

For my second card I used the same truck with the new 5510 – Sport Accessories.
I added my own verse on the banner.

I've had this paper in my craft stash for probably 10 years and never quite found a purpose for it.  When I saw the new sports accessories I knew immediately that it would be perfect for this set!
