Pretty Pink House by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri here! Today, I am sharing a pretty pink card perfect for the Spring season! This floral card features the Front Porch Circlet MTF set. Check out the entire Circlet Mini Tryfold collection here. This card is also featured on my personal blog, check it out here!

This tryfold card has 3 panels that measure 3.75" x 4.25". The card base measures 4.25" x 11.25" and is scored at the 3.75" mark and the 7.5" mark on the 11.25" side. It is really easy to make a tryfold card, just follow the instructions on the back of the stamp packaging!

I colored the front porch circlet image with my Copic markers. I used pink and white striped paper and a white Circle Double Stitched frame die cut to decorate the card. To finish the card I stamped the "Home Sweet Home" sentiment from the WC Sentiment Set 2 stamp set and added coordinating sequins for embellishment.

Tropical Circlet with Bri Firth

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing my creation for the Tropical Treat Challenge. For more information on this challenge check out the announcement here. For my project I made a tryfold card with Tropical Circlet MTF stamp set. This card is also featured on my personal blog, check it out here
Art Impressions makes a lot of fun and interactive stamp sets, but currently I really like the Circlet Mini Tryfolds. These tryfold cards have such a unique layering effect and they are super easy to make with the pre-made tryfold cardstock and envelope packs.

To make this I card I first stamped the front leaf wreath and die cut the hole within the center of the leaves. I also traced the front opening onto the middle panel with a pencil so I could line up the center image with the front image. To decorate the front panel I die cut a circle mask to protect the stamped image. Then, I ink blended a sunset ombre background. I adhered a tropical leaf printed vellum over top the background and added some floral and sequin embellishment.

Second, I stamped the beach image within the pencil marked outline on the middle panel. I repeated the steps above to stamp the ocean image on the back panel. To decorate the inner panels I used some retired tropical themed scrapbook paper. I die-cut the panels once again so you could see the images through the various layers of cardstock. For some extra fun I used a white gel pen to add some birds flying over the ocean.

I finished the card by coloring all the stamped scenes with my Copic Sketch alcohol markers. I love all the vibrant colors showcased throughout this card! The middle panel and back panel are showcased below.

Cake and Confetti Slimline Card by Bri Firth

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing this bright and colorful card I made with the Birthday Circlet MTF stamp set. These images work wonderfully when stacked on top of each other (like a tryfold) or when stamped side-by-side. This card is also featured on the my personal blog, check it out here!

First, I stamped the three tryfold circle images on the cardstock with the front image on the left, middle image on the right, and back image in the center. Then I masked the circle images to ink blend the background.

Before coloring the party images I browsing birthday color schemes on Pinterest. I was looking for bright but somewhat neutral colors. I decided on the the color scheme below. I colored the stamped images with my Copic Sketch alcohol markers.
Next, to decorate the background I used the confetti stencil and mint colored ink to ink blend the cardstock. I finished the project by matting the card front with coral solid cardstock.

Tea Circlet Card by Crystal

 Hi Ai fans!

Do you save all of your paper scraps? I do! I think that is what all paper crafters do. I can't even throw out the smallest piece of paper never know when you might need it it could be just that perfect piece for a project.

I had seen some craft YouTube videos which I can't remember who it was I enjoy listening to crafters craft when I'm working on cards. Well I saw them make striped backgrounds out of pattern paper. I light bulb went off that is just what I am going to do with the scrap paper I have. A plus for me is I think it is really relaxing like coloring I enjoy sitting with my family cutting paper in to strips or adhering them to paper.

For this card I stuck to three different patterns of paper and glitter card stock. I start with a piece of scrap paper which I always have. I save all of the paper I have stamped on and never colored or colored but was not happy with. I trim it down to 5 3/4" X 4 1/2" most of the cards I make are 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" so it gives me a little extra wiggle room. I cut different widths of stripped paper. For this card I kept a pattern but sometimes I just do it randomly. I use a tape runner most of the time but glue works well too.

Once all of the strips of a paper are adhered you can use it any way you choose on a card. For this card I die cut a double stitched rectangle one step smaller then the 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" double stitched rectangle die.

I die cut a 5 1/2" X 4 1/4" double stitched rectangle out of pattern paper. Then I die cut a circle out of pattern paper with a double stitched circle die.

I thought it would be fun to use two of the circles from the Tea Circlet MFT stamp/die set. I stamped the image with the flowers and the sentiment onto smooth white card stock with Memento black ink.

I used a double stitched circle die to cut the flower stamped image out. I used a larger double stitched die to cut the sentiment out and a smaller one to get the image out of the middle. I colored the image in with alcohol markers. lastly I glued the sentiment over the flower image.

I layered everything as shown in the image above.

I added some sequins to finish the card off.

Spectrum Noir Markers:

Pasture Circlet by ReneƩ Matarese

Hello Ai fans!!

Today I'm sharing 5092 – Pasture Circlet MTF.

I recently bought a fabric denim paper pad and a burlap paper pad and have been anxious to use them.

I was worried about cutting through 3 layers of paper, the denim and the burlap and still keeping them all lined up properly so I didn't do the traditional tryfold card the way these are meant to be used.  I cut them all and then stacked them with foam tape and adhered them to the front of the card.

I used my Arteza brush pens to color it.

Nativity Circlet MTF by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

I hope you are all enjoying the beauty of the holiday season.  The Nativity Circlet Mini TryFold stamp set is such a beautiful way to wish someone a Merry Christmas.  I just love this peaceful scene.
I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth paper with Gina K Designs Black Amalgam Ink and colored them with my Copic markers.  The colors used are listed at the end of this post.
I followed the directions from the packaging of the stamp and die set to fold and assemble my card. I used papers from the Basic Grey Joyful collection.  The two flaps were cut with a Crafter's Companion Build A Card border die. All of the edges were antiqued with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink and a Mini Distress tool. The word believe is from Mementa.
