Hello Ai fans!

This set was designed with Mother's Day in mind but is also perfect for a get well card,

I also have a front porch card for you today.

I used the 5512 – Front Porch Door Set and 5491 – Front Porch Party Set

to make a baby girl 1st birthday card.

This party door is so versatile!  It could be for absolutely any party at all...retirement, graduation, birthday, Cinco de Mayo, Memorial Day...It all depends on what colors you use.  I've also thought that some of the Ai Rides accessories might be cute to add here too!

The door on this set is cut with the die and you can choose to glue it shut or add something to the inside so you can open it up and peek inside!

Here's another bunny card from the new Home & Heart exclusive set.  Though this was not my mom's card this was created with her in mind.  She's not a pastel sort of woman.  She has always loved black and white.  Some moms are a little outside the box.

I used my Molotow pen for the first time to make the dots on her dress and also the dress on my first card.  I'm HOOKED!!  I can see me adding lots of dots or stripes to clothing in the future.

For my last card I created a get well card. Did I say how much I LOVE this set?!!

This barrel of flowers could be used for absolutely any occasion!

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a few cards with you.
My first cards were created for the current Feline Crazy challenge and the Cat Lovers Hop.
Art Impressions generously donated the Feline Set as a prize for the hop.

For my cards I used  M4877 – Be Joyful Window.  The Windows to the World series is one
of my all-time favorites at Ai.

Have you ever had one of "those" days?  Well, I sure did.  If you look carefully you'll see that on the white card the clouds are puffy.  That's because I got carried away and started to color them green like the foliage below them!  Oops!  I didn't want to scrap the entire picture and start over so I pulled out my Nuvo drops and viola!  Puffy clouds where there once were trees.

For my second projects I used the new 5462 – Web Dies Set and the 5072 – Block Letters Die Set.

The oval that the webs are on was made using the 5065 – Oval Double Stitched Dies.

The treat bag was a gift for my son.  His birthday is Oct. 2 and since he was little 

he's been obsessed with Halloween.  He even keeps Halloween decorations up in 

his bedroom all year round!

My window was cut using the 5061 – Square Double Stitched Dies.

I used the 5135 – Hexagon Double Stitched Dies to reinforce the ribbon handles and make

the bag more decorative.

May the Joy of Christmas be Yours! by Crystal

Hi Ai fans! Today I made a card using the Snow Friend stamp set. I stamped the snow man image onto water card stock with Versafine black ink. I love how this stamped image is spelling out "JOY". 

I colored the image in with aqua color pencils. I start darker for the shaded areas getting lighter as I go leaving some white space. I use a water color brush to spread the color out into the highlight areas. 

Once the image is colored in I die cut it out with a oval double stitch die. I matted the color image onto pattern paper. I added the sentiment "May the joy of Christmas be yours!" onto a small piece of white card stock and adhered it below the oval die cut. I matted the whole panel onto a red piece of card stock die cut to 5 1/2" X 4 1/4".

Spooky House Card by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri Firth here! Today, I am sharing another spooky card design featuring the Happy Haunting Set. This project is perfect for Ai's current challenge, "Going Batty". Also, this haunting card is featured on my personal blog today, check it out here! 

To create the layered card background I used a rectangle die from the Rectangle Double Stitched Dies set to die cut a black stitched rectangle and matted it with solid white cardstock. I stamped the "Happy Haunting" sentiment in the lower left corner of the top layer and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

I ink blended onto a oval die cut from the Oval Double Stitched Dies set to add a pop of color to the center of the card. I used Salvaged Patina, Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet, and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks to create the spooky blend. Next, I stamped the bats in pigment black ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.

The haunted house was colored with my Copic markers. I used the BV20's to color the house in a gray-tinted purple blend. I used my E80's to color the rotted wood and I used Y00 and Y26 to add the lights in the windows. I used foam tape to add the house to the card front. To finish the card, I also added some coordinating sequins.

Hi Ai fans this week I played with the Roses stamp set. I used it in two different ways on my card. 

For the first card I used Spectrum Noir Aqua markers to stamp the image. I just color on the stamp with the different colors I want to use then breath on the stamp and stamp the image onto water color card stock. I then use a water color brush to color in the image slightly with color that was stamped. I used the sentiment "I Love You" on this card. I love the soft look the image gets with this technique.  

The second card I stamped the image with Versafine black ink. Then water colored the image in. I used the sentiment "Many Thanks" on this card.  

Both cards I die cut the image out with a double stitched oval die and matted the oval onto pattern paper then matted that onto pink card stock. I love the look of both cards but its fun to stamp with different techniques to get a different feel of the card.

Seas the Day by Crystal

This week I had so much fun playing with the new Gull Friends stamp set. It has been hot here so hot. I take my dogs out for 5-10 minutes and back inside to cool off. So the theme for this card was bright summer colors. 

The gulls have cake and balloons in their mouths but I still think it could be a fun just because card. I added the sentiment "Seas the Day" onto a double stitched banner die.  I die cut the characters out with the coordinating dies that come in the set.  

I adhered the gulls to a oval double stitched polka dot pattern card stock. I matted the polka card stock onto a simple paper lined pattern paper and matted everything onto some bright fun summer pattern paper. That's my card today hope it inspired you have a wonderful rest of your week!

Hatty Birthday by Crystal

Hi Ai fans! This week I made a card using the Miss Set. This set is full of fun witty sentiments that pair perfectly with all of the different hats she can wear. I stamped the image onto smooth white card stock and colored them in with alcohol markers. I then die cut them out with the coordinating dies that come in the set. All of the hats in the set have little slits that get die cut when you die cut them out so the hat will fit on her head perfectly. 

For my card I went with the birdcage hat and used the sentiment "A little birdie told me it was your birthday" which goes perfect with the bird cage. I also added the sentiment "Hatty Birthday!" I added lots of spring colors to this card to go with the bird cage and flowers on the hat.
