You're So Sweet Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Friends!

Tasha here sharing a new card featuring the super cute 5904 - So Sweet Armful Set. The new Armful sets are so much fun to color and you can mix and match the little accessory stamps.

To make my card, I stamped the elephant and cupcake with black ink and used Copic Markers for the coloring. After coloring, I used the included die set to cut both images out. I love sets that include dies, it makes it so easy to create with the little characters!

To coordinate with the colors used on the elephant, I added layers of purple, blue, gray, and white paper. The gray and white heart pattern paper adds color to the background, while allowing the elephant image to still be the main focus. Doesn't he look so happy with his sweet treat?

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment "You're So Sweet" with purple ink and attached a metallic purple paper bow. For a little bling, I glued on a clear rhinestone to the center of the bow to complete the card.

Thank you for checking out today's card and I hope you are having a great day!

A "Sticky" Hello by Janet

Hello Ai fans! I'm here today with a card using the fun 5458 - Llama Set. This set includes many smaller images that are truly adorable and fun to work with. Although this has three llama images, there are four other images that are just plain great to use all by themselves and I wanted to show you a sample of that with this project.

I chose to use the cactus image and sentiment as the focal point and colored it with Copic markers. Then I cut it out using the 5726 - Nested Circle Dies. I cut another circle using 5064 - Circle Double Stitched Dies and mounted them together. I also added three green glitter enamel dots for a little extra shine and oomph!

The A2 card base started as an 11' x 5 1/2" kraft piece of cardstock. I folded it in half and then added two pieces of patterned paper from the 5606 - Harvest Journal Paper Pack. I used decorative scissors (remember those?!) to get some decorative edges on these pieces before layering them on the card base. Then I added some baker's twine, a bow, and the finished cactus piece. Though simple, I love how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you'll stop by the store to see all the things you need for your card, journal, and tag making projects.

Fancy Hat Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a new card created with the fun 5405- Mrs. Set. I LOVE all the interchangeable hats included in this set and you can mix-and-match them with the hats/main image stamp from the 5404-Miss Set

I started by stamping the lady and the flower hat with black ink and used the coordinating die set (included in the set) to cut them out. I love the pretty floral hat with the large bow. This would totally be something I would do. Wear my lounge clothes and craft with a fancy hat on, I may need to get a new hat!

In addition to a variety of hats to select from, this set also has several greetings. I stamped "High Maintenance...and worth it" in black on to a circle and layered purple glitter to add some sparkle. A fancy lady needs extra sparkle!

Lastly, I added a black glitter paper frame, a multi-colored background to coordinate with the woman's outfit, and layers of purple glitter and deep teal cardstock. The completed card was adhered to a white card base and I attached a little purple enamel heart to finish the design.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and are having a wonderful day!

Happy Little Moments Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the Ai Windows to the World Challenge #343. This card was created with the super cute 5349 - Koala Set and 4619 - Window Die. I love that this window opens!

To make the card more colorful, I cut the window out of bright orange pattern paper and added layers of orange, yellow, and blue glitter paper. I also attached a gray wood pattern paper. I thought the gray went great with the koala and I like how these colors look together!

To complete the design, I colored the background with yellow and blue markers and attached several white enamel dots. This card is so cheerful and the little koala makes me smile; he just looks so happy!

I hope you enjoyed today's card and will join in the Ai Windows to the World Challenge #343

Blooming Window with Birds, Bees, and Butterflies by Janet

Have you seen the new 5561-Birds and Bugs Set yet? It is so fun and adds the perfect touch to so many other sets. I think it adds the perfect touch to the Windows To The World Stamp Series. Here I used the new 5450-Blooming Windows Set. Don't you agree that the birds, butterflies and bees just compliment the window so well? This set also includes the cutest little ladybugs too!

To create the scene, I cut the window frame and window box from the 5408-ShadowBox Window Dies and popped them up on foam tape to give them a little lift over the window scene. I colored the scene with Copic markers and used pencils to add some additional shading. I layered two of the Hello sentiments from the WindowBox Die Set and popped that up on foam as well. Then I arranged the birds, butterflies and bees, popping some up on foam and leaving others flat. Then I added some green enamel dots and flat back pearls.

Thank you so much for joining me today here at the blog. The 5561-Birds and Bugs Set is one you need to have whether you are into water coloring or traditional stamping. They are a must have and are waiting for you at the store!

Wishing you a very crafty day!
