Exhausting being this Fabulous by Dana Warren

Hello, AI fans!!

Well, it's starting to get warm and feel like summer so I figured it's time for a summer card!! AI has several clear sets that were available at Micheals and now available at artimpressions.com! My card today features the Beach Babe set!

I started by stamping the three ladies image on some white card stock and used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color it. The majority of these colors are the newest colors available! I used: AP1, AP2, AP3, BO1, BO2, BO3, DP1, DP2, DP3, GY1, GY2, GY3, MB1, MB3, IG1, IG2, IG4, IG6. I used a Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die to cut them out.

For a beachy feel, I found some pretty sand and shell pattern paper and added it to a white card base. For the sentiment, I die cut a smaller rectangle and stamped it at the bottom. I adhered it to the back of the ladies so you could just see the sentiment below them. Then I added it directly to the card base.

I got the pattern paper from a paper pack collection and inside was also a sticker sheet, which I found an anchor sticker. Since I didn;t need it to be an actual sticker I added some baby powder to the back so it wouldn't be sticky. I added a little twine to the anchor and from my stash, I found a wooden circle anchor. I added both to the corner of the ladies rectangle.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Challenge 182 Show Off Your Stamp! PLUS New Ai at Michaels!

Hello, Ai Fans!

We're at it again! We are excited to announce three new clear sets now available at a Michaels near you! You might have seen peeks over on our Instagram of these hilarious new sets. Run to your local store to grab yours today!

We're also kicking off our new "Show Your Stamp" Challenge! We want to see your stamp alongside your creation in this challenge! The card can be for any occasion, but Cheri's here today to show her hilarious "get well" soon card with her new set from Michaels!

Hello Ai Fans!
It's my turn to do the feature to kick off the New Challenge called "Show Your Stamp". I decided to use the new Ai/ Hampton Art Cling set called "ICU/ Get Well" that has been created exclusively for Michaels.
So in keeping with the Challenge, here's my finished card with the original stamps I used!
I got out my MISTI (most incredible stamp tool invented), my Copic friendly ink and the stamp set.
I arranged my stamps in the little scene I had decided on and also added my inside sentiment and pill bottles that I wanted to use as embellishments.
I inked up the images and using the MISTI stamped them onto Copic X-Press It paper. The MISTI gives such a great stamped image and is perfect for making exact multiples of the same image.
I die cut my image using my Sizzix Big Shot and fussy cut out the pill bottles.
Now onto the fun relaxing part.....colouring! Always my favourite part of any project!
Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, R20
Hair: C1, C3, C5
Hospital Gown: BG32, BG34, BG13
Dress: R81, R83, R85
Coat: Y21, Y23, Y26
Table: C0, Silver Wink of Stella (on top)
Some of the supplies I used. I like to pick my paper first and then colour my image to co-ordinate with it.
And there you have it the finished card!
I used another sentiment from the ICU/ Get Well set on the inside as well as stamping a portion of the Nurse in the bottom corner.

Next time you are in your local Michaels store, be on the hunt for these super cute and funny stamp sets to add to your Art Impressions collection!

Happy Stamping!
