 Happy Saturday Ai fans! I just love the AiCS40-Spring Chicken Set. There are three chicken images and they are all full of attitude. It's hard to pick a favorite but I do enjoy this particular hen. She's definitely got a personality and something to say!

This card is a gate fold with half an oval cut out of each flap. When closed, it appears to be a typical oval window. I used the new 5727-Nested Oval Dies to make the window and the mats inside and out. To keep the card fully closed, I used the 5590-Journal Butterfly Clasp. It works perfectly to make sure the card doesn't open until it's time. The paper comes from the 5606-Harvest Journal Paper Pack. Proof again that the paper packs are not limited to a particular season or holiday even if the pack names suggest that. 

Final touches on this card was the sentiment from the stamp set, gems on the butterfly and a little bit of glitter washi tape.

Butterfly Thank You card by Reneé Matarese

 Hello Ai fans and happy Sunday!

I needed a thank you card for a friend that gave me a handmade piece of art she found at a craft show. She said it reminded her of me and when she prayed for me when I was sick.

She's a very spiritual person so I know she'll love this set. 
I used 5200 – Butterfly Set.

On the inside I used 5590 – Journal Butterfly Clasp.

Since the butterfly is split in half, I used some little gems to cover the seem.

I used two different patterns of paper from 5742 – Easter Journal Paper Pack.

The matte was made using 5063 – Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies and the sentiment was stamped and then cut out with 5727 – Nested Oval Dies.

I only glued down the butterfly's body on each one.

Then, I bent and popped up the wings to give the card some dimension.

Hello Spring Card by Tasha!

Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a Spring-themed card featuring the new 5717-Little Girl Front & Back Set and 5590 – Journal Butterfly Clasp. 

This new little girl stamp has quickly become a favorite for Spring and Easter cards. I love her outfit and that you can fill the basket with anything you want. I used markers to add little pink and purple flowers on this card, but I also have stamped flowers from the watercolor sets on an earlier project. It's so much fun to customize your cards!

The background was created with a cloud stencil, white gel pen, and blue Distress Oxide Ink. Doesn't this blue color look like a warm Spring day? I just cannot wait for the warmer weather!

I also added a green and white check paper for the ground and glued the word "Spring" from the new 5719-FB Fence & Window Set! 

Lastly, I attached the 5590-Journal Butterfly Clasp to close the card. This clasp is the perfect size for journals, but can also be used on standard sized cards if you add a back panel. I love all the detail on the butterfly and cannot wait to make more of these cards!

A few weeks ago, Ai launched the sweet new Mini Try-fold sets and Clasp Keepers - and I am sharing Hello Friend MTF (Sku #4759) today.  Here it is folded up with the Butterfly Clasp Die (Sku #4748):

 Since my Copic markers were visible from the inside of the card, after I finished colouring, I mounted some patterned paper on the backside, and recut the openings with the small dies that come with the set.  Our current challenge is Aging With Attitude!  We hope you'll play along, just click on the link above and add your creation to the linkup.

Hello AI fans!!

Dana here with a card set featuring the new Mini Tryfolds! I made two of each using the Garden Window and Hello Friend and I paired them with the new Butterfly Clasp Die!

These Mini Tryfolds are easy to make, the stamps come with instructions and dies! I started by making the card with the instructions. Then I stamped front image on the front of left flap, then used the matching die to cut center. I folded the right flap in and traced the opening with a pencil. 

Next I stamped the second image, centering it over the traced shape. With the other die I cut out the center and then folded it over and traced the shape with a pencil. Over the middle of shape I stamped the last, smaller stamp. I repeated this to complete four cards. 

Then I used my Spectrum Noir Markers to color each of the cards. I used: CG2, CG4, CG6, CR2, CT1, CT4, DG2, DG3, EB1, EB2, EB6, GB8, GB10, HB2, HB3, LV3, IG1, IG2, IG4, OR2, PP3, TB1, TB2, TB4.

The alcohol markers will bleed through the card stock, so to hide that on the inside of the flaps I added pattern paper. Once the pattern paper was adhered, I turned the card over and placed the matching die in the hole already cut and ran it through the die cutting machine again. 

Last I used the Butterfly Clasp die and cut two from purple and two from pink card stock. I used them to wrap around each of the cards.
