Halloween Mini Die Set Card!

Hello Ai fans!

Art Impressions has some super cute new mini dies they are so much fun to play with. You can check out the whole mini die collection HERE

The focus of the card is the new Halloween mini die set. This card is very simple so it was fast to put together. I die cut a corner rounded rectangle out of black card stock. I die cut three small squares out of the black card stock with a double sided stitch square die. I adhered the black card stock over the green card stock with foam tape so the mini die cuts would be set back a little bit.

I needed a sentiment for my card so I used two sentiments from the Quivery Mini Shaker stamp set. "Happy Fright night" and "Boo!" I needed to fill in the open space the black space needed to be broken up a little bit so I used the spider web from the Fright Night stamp set and stamped them  with white ink.

Happy Stamping!

You're How Old!? -by Crystal

Hi Ai fans! How is everyone doing? Getting lots of extra time to spend crafting. Coloring is one of my favorite ways to relieve stress. This week I played with the Birthday Laugh Lines stamp set.

I stamped the image twice with Memento black ink onto smooth white card stock.

I colored both images in with alcohol ink tri-blend markers.

This card I stamped the sentiment "Old enough to know better, TOO OLD TO CARE!" onto a banner.  I stamped the sentiment "You'Re HOW old!?" onto the same card stock that I stamped and die cut the image onto.

The second card I stamped the sentiment "Happy Birthday! You still light up the room! ...as well as 4 city blocks".

Spectrum Noir Markers: AG1, AG3, AG5, CR7, CR8, CR10, IG2, IG4, IG5, YG1, YG2, YG3, IB1, IB2, IB3, TN1, TN2, TN4, GB6, GB7, GB10

This stamp set is so much fun! I love the funny sentiments that go along with this image.

Blessed & Grateful by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Birdhouse Neighborhood, the WC Sentiment Set 2, and the Circle Double Stitch Dies
I started by stamping my Birdhouse Neighborhood stamp set on the middle of my kraft card base. I colored my image with my Polychromos colored pencils. I moved on to my watercolor piece. I started by blending my ink onto the watercolor paper.  I only used two colors and blended them to make the middle color. I cut a circle with my Circle Double Stitched Dies and glued it so it was centered onto my card base with my Birdhouse Neighborhood image showing.
I added Wink of Stella to the whole colored area.  I wanted to make the image pop and I figured what better way than to add Wink of Stella to it ... I mean who doesn't love a little sparkle?
As you can see in the picture above I stamped my Blessed & Grateful sentiment to my one inch banner strip I made using the WC Sentiment Set 2 . I glued down the left side of my sentiment strip and I raised the banner side up with one layer of foam tape.  I absolutely love when I can do this to an image or sentiment.  It give so much dept to the card and to my sentiment strip with hardly any effort. What do you think?  Like it?
I finished my card off with some Crystal Nuvo Drops.  This has been my go-to embellishment lately.   I added the same three colors as my card front, I just varied the color so red wasnt on red and so forth.
Here is one more look at the full card.  I love this card can be almost anything from a miss you card, a thank you card, a friendship card, or even a new home card.

Thank you so much for spending part of your Wednesday with me.  Please come back again soon and see what we are up to here at Art Impressions.

Short and to the Point... by Crystal

Hi Ai Fans!

This week I made two cards using the same hedgehog image from the Hedgehogs stamp set.

Such perfect sentiment "Let me keep this short and to the point... Happy Bithrday!"

For both cards I stamped the image with Memento black ink onto Smooth white card stock.

I kept both cards very simple just layered the image onto pattern paper using different shapes of Art Impressions double stitched shape dies.

Spectrum Noir Markers:
DR2, DR5, DR7, TB1, TB7, AG2, AG3, AG5, TN1, TN2, TN5, GT1, GT2, GT3, EB2, EB4, EB6
