PSL Gift Card Holder by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri Firth here! Today, I am sharing an fall themed project featuring the Java GCH set. This project is perfect for Ai's current challenge, "Shaken, Not Stirred". Also, this gift card holder is featured on my personal blog today, check it out here! 

I wanted to create a generic paper coffee mug look so I used the Pathway Slimline Stencil with Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide ink to decorate the coffee cup. I stamped and colored a pumpkin from the WC Harvest Set to make the java drink look like a favorite seasonal drink, a pumpkin spice latte! The "Just for you" sentiment is from the WC Sentiments 2 set. Finally, I used a neutral gray patterned paper for the GCH Envelope and attached the coffee cup with liquid adhesive.

Shaken, Not Stirred! New challenge #311

Hello Ai fans!!

It's time for a new challenge!

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Gift Card Holder Java Die set to make an interactive shaker card. It has a hidden spot to hold sequins that will pour out when you move the card. 

I started by  I stamped the greeting onto a thin strip of white card stock using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I cut it out using the Flag Double Stitched Dies.

I cut a piece of Moda Scraps Forever Green patterned paper slightly smaller than the standard A2 size.  I edged the patterned paper with a Pilot Gold Medium Tip Marker and attached it to a piece of white paper.

I checked the spacing by placing the two dies I plan to use onto the piece of paper.  I then die cut just the coffee cup die.

I attached double sided adhesive to two pieces of fun foam.  I then adhered them together.

To figure out the spacing for the coffee cup, I placed the patterned paper layer over the fun foam layers and traced along the inside of the die.

I then cut the coffee cup die into the fun foam.

I then cut the Oval Double Stitched Die into the fun foam.

I cut a small opening between the oval and coffee cup shapes.

I glued the fun foam piece to an A2 white card base.  I also attached a piece of acetate behind the opening in the patterned paper piece.

I added sequins to the oval opening on the card.

I cut several of the accent pieces from the GCH Java Die set and added them to the card front.  I then attached it over the fun foam to finish the card.

Java Gift Card Holder and Card by Jil Lebel

 

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Java Gift Card Holder and the Valentine Bears stamp set to make a card and a gift card holder.  The Gift Card Holder series is great because they look great on a card.

I started by stamping the images onto Canson XL Watercolor paper with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and colored them with Daniel Smith watercolors.  I then cut them out. I also stamped the sentament and cut it out with the circle from the gift card holder set.  

 I cut out the coffee cup with paper from the Kaisercraft Magenta 6"x6" paper pad.  I cut the lid from white sparkle paper.  The band of the cup is cut from Kraft cardstock.  Once everything was cut, I put the coffee cup together with glue and added the bear with foam tape. For the gift card, I cut out a gray piece of cardstock with the Envelope Gift Card Holder die and attached one of the coffee cups to it.  I cut an ombre layer from the patterned paper using the A2 Rectangle Double Stitched Dies.  I also cut a piece of gray paper with the Banner Double Stitched Dies.  I attached those pieces and a coffee cup to an A2 card.  The final touch ws to add some Crystal Stickles to the coffee cup and greeting.

Java Gift Card Holder | By Jessica Shier

 Hello Ai fans!

Today I have a gift card holder to share. I love this coffee die set and I feel like this one would be used all year! So easy to customize the colors and stick someone's favorite coffee place (or tea) gift card inside the envelope for a fun little surprise. 

I've done a couple of other projects using these new Gift Card Holder dies. Mixing up the materials you use is a lot of fun. This time though I decided to use some Alcohol Markers to color the white cardstock the colors I wanted. For a bit of added interest I also used a embossing folder on the main cup shape. So fun! Using a Wink of Stella pen I added some shimmer around the coffee bean, which is always hard to see in photos.

The Envelope GCH works with all of the Gift Card Holder die sets. Thinner paper seems to be the easiest, since you aren't adding in a lot of bulk. I used a fun aqua pattern paper.

Cat and Java GCH by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!!

Today I'm sharing my second post of the day with you.  I made two gift card holders.

The first is 5341 – Black Cat GCH Set. 

As you can see I chose NOT to make him black.  He's not just for Halloween.  My niece has two cats and would LOVE to get a gift card from me in this.

I love this cat and can picture him in so many different colors...maybe with some cute stripes.

The envelope die is so quick and easy to assemble.

My second GCH uses the 5343 – Java GCH Set.

There are so many fun accessories that come with the set. I used some of them on the back of the envelope.

Reindeer Flutter Card by Jil Lebel

 

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Reindeer Flutter stamp and die set to make an interactive Christmas card.  The penguin's legs and feet lift when the tab is pulled down.  

I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers.  The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post.  I then cut the images out with the matching dies that come in the set. I followed the directions on the package to make the flutter mechanism so the penguin legs move when the tab is pulled.  

I used papers from the Bo Bunny 6" x 6" Father Christmas patterned paper. I layered a piece over gold glitter paper to form the center piece.  I used the enclosed die to cut a small slit behind the reindeer body.  I inserted the tab into the slip so that it came out behind the center piece.  It is attached with foam tape.  I added the Pull Here by Lawn Fawn with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. The greeting is stamped onto t white circle with the same ink.  The circles are from the Java Gift Card Holder set.
