Give us a Fright by Nina

Hello Ai friends, Nina here with a new Scrapbook layout for our current "Give us a Fright" challenge. I am using multiple sets for this project, Ghoul Friend Set, Front Porch Halloween and MB Halloween.

I stamped the images using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and Mini Misti.
I then colored them with Copic Markers that are Halloween colors.

I cut the images and attached them to a black background.
I used my white gel pen to draw a lot of webs between the images and around the edges then decorated with enamel dots and star stickers.

Hairy Scary Halloween by Sharon Caudle

 Boo!!

Did I scare you? LOL!  My card today was made for the Give Us a Fright Challenge that is going on right now! You've still got time to get your card made and entered for a chance to win a stamp set of your choice! For my card I used #5446 MB Halloween Set along with the MB Template Die Set and the MB Envelope Die Set. On the envelope to decorate it, I used #5328 Mini Halloween Die Set, and I also used #5462 Web Dies Set to decorate the windows in the MatchBook scene. I tried and badly failed to turn the chair into something kind of Halloween-ish. LOL! But oh well...it's still kind of cute.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time hope you get some crafty time!

Trick or Treat Mini Scrapbook Layout by Nina

Hello Ai friends, Nina here with a new mini 6 X 6 scrapbook page. I am creating a page about Halloween using the lovely Ghoul Friends Stamp Set, Front Porch Halloween and MB Halloween Set.

I stamped the adorable images using My Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and my Mini Misti and colored them using my Copic Markers.

Copic Shades:

Blue Green: BG32 BG34
Oranges: YR24 Yr27 YR01 YR21 YR07
Reds: R21 R22 R24 R37
Yellow Greens: YG95 YG97
Yellow: Y38
Browns: E43 E42 E17 E15 E13 E11 E25 E27 E29 E99 E59 E37

I then  cut my images and backed them with foam tape, put them aside to start creating my scrapbook layout background.
I cut a piece of Purple Skulls pattern paper into a little bigger than 5.5 X 5.5 Inch and used a Halloween paper collection from my stash.

I cut two strips from same paper collection and stacked them behind each other to give to be my ground of the scene. I attached the girls image on the ground strips and created a table with black papr to put my treat bowls on.

I added my lantrn garland and the spiders. I positioned the spider as if they are trying to reach the candy :) they are so adorable.

I then decorated with stars, enamel dots and couple sentiment stickers and added the whole panel to a star pattern paper background.

I then cute the four squares of the letters forming the word Fall from the same paper collection and backed only two of them with foam tape to give a variety of dimension and attached them towards the top of my layout.

I die cut multiple leaves from different pattern papers using the Leaf Frame Die Set and glued them behind the girl, the fence, the hillside and the pumpkins. I even places some around the word blocks.

I finish off with couple heart stickers and enamel dots then placed my whole panel on a light teal background.

New! Front Porch Halloween set by ReneƩ Matarese

 Hello Ai fans!

Who loves Halloween??

I do! I do!

I was so excited when I saw the new 5487 – Front Porch Halloween Set which is part of the Front Porch Series.

I went a little dark and spooky with this one.  My kids both LOVE Halloween and being "scared."  Well,  kids...they're 22 and 23 but they're very much kids at heart when it comes to having a good scare at Halloween.

The awesome thing about this set is that you can go a little creepy or you can keep it totally cute for those that don't love that.

This set comes with coordinating dies which is great!  For my trees, I stamped and colored one of them and then cut it out.  For the rest, I just used the die to cut different shades of black and gray trees.

The little sign with BOO on it is from the Spooky Wagon set from the Ai Rides Series.
The fun scene inside the door is from the MB Halloween set.

Do you see my bats? They were cut out with the dies from the set.  I then used a piece of acetate and a brad to make them "FLY" through the air.  I love an interactive card!

Welcome to the Boo House by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri Firth here! Today, I am sharing another Halloween card featuring the new MB Halloween Set. The MB Halloween Set is part of Ai's Matchbook collection. This boo-tiful project is featured on my personal blog today, check it out here

I wanted to do something a little different with this Matchbook set so I decided to create a window scene instead. I used Halloween pattern paper to decorate the front of the card. I used a square die to cut the window and frame from the card front. I used the WC Fence Dies to decorate the window with a crooked fence. To finish decorating the card front, I used the Block Letters Die Set to die cut the word "BOO". I used Shaded Lilac Distress Ink to give the letters an ombre look.

I used a pencil to trace the opening onto the inside of the card. I wanted a majority of the scene to seen through the window but I wanted the ghosts to be hidden. I used the images from the MB Halloween Set to build the haunted mansion scene on the inside of the card. The background was created with Shaded Lilac and Black Soot Distress inks.

Trick or Treat MB Card by Tasha

 Happy Friday Ai Fans!

Tasha here sharing a card created with the new MB Halloween Set! I love all the MB stamp sets and this new scene is too fun!

The base was created with the MB Template Dies and I used the rounded windows to coordinate with the large window stamp. All of the images were stamped with black ink, colored with markers, and cut with the included dies. It's amazing how much detail can fit into this tiny card!

For the base and envelope, I used double-sided paper with Halloween prints to add to the haunted house scene. I also loved the happy ghost images so much that I also attached one to the envelope; so cute!

I hope you enjoyed taking a peek at the new MB-Halloween set and are inspired to create a MB card. These little sets are addicting and it's super fun to mix and match sets to customize your designs!

Happy crafting!

Spook Matchbook Scene by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri Firth here! Today, I am sharing a short and spooky post featuring the new MB Halloween Set. The MB Halloween Set is part of Ai's Matchbook collection. This eerie project is featured on my personal blog today, check it out here

I used my Copic markers to color the haunted mansion 3D scene and attached the pieces to the MB Template die cut. I used mystical Halloween papers for the MB Template and MB Envelope to coordinate with my spooky scene. I just love the funny coordinating sentiment, "Hairy Scary!"

Check back next week for more Ai inspiration made by me!
