Feel Better Soon by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Doggy Kisses stamp set from Art Impressions.

I started by Copic coloring my wiener dog image. I trimmed him in a rectangle and added a frame in chocolate paper.

I used the same chocolate card stock for my card base and I added some patter paper I had in my stash that had paw prints.  I added my wiener dog image to the top at an angle to give it some depth.

I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with my Oval Double Stitched Dies.  I added a frame to it with the came chocolate card stock.  I finished it off with some clear jewels.

Here is one more look at the finished card.
Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little time with me.  Make sure you come back soon to the Ai blog and see what the team has been up to.

Get Your Happy On by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Be Happy Laugh Lines stamp set from Art Impressions

I started by Copic coloring my "Happy Lady". I fussy cut her out and set her aside so I could add her last.

I have three layers of framed pieces to my card.  Each layer has a base of black card stock.  The bottom two layers have pattern paper on top of the black card stock.  The top layer has a white panel where my lady will eventually go..

Here they are all layered together with the sentiment added to the top layer.  It says "Get Your Happy On!

Now just to finish it off by adding my lady to the top.

Here is one more look at the finished card. I thought it had enough going on with without adding any embellishments.

Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a little time with me.  Make sure you come back soon to the Ai blog and see what the team has been up to.

Thinking of You Floral Twist | By Jessica Shier

Hello Ai Fans!

It's Jessica today. I have another Twist card to share with you. Yep I'm still having fun with these and I thought the Floral Twist set would be fun to color using a lovely blue and yellow colorway. I'll be using Copic Markers today, the colors are listed below.

Like I've said before, these Twist stamp and die sets are super easy and so fun when you just feel like coloring a little bit. I paired this one with a fun black and white striped pattern paper adding a bit of a yellow stripe of card stock to the left hand side. I had fun using some gold watercolor paint and splattering the front of this card. the paint was a bit thicker then I normally mix, which created some fun splatters. I also added in some sequins from my stash in gold and blue colors.

The sentiment that comes with the Floral Twist set fits perfectly in the smallest Rectangle Double stitch die. I used some foam circles to pop it up a bit.

I even added some gold watercolor paint to the center of the flowers to really make those shine. I love the detail of this stamp and the pretty font of the sentiment. Such a cute pairing.

Thank you so much for joining me today! Happy Stamping.

Sunshiny Day by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a card I made using the Daisies stamp set from Art Impressions sold exclusively at Scrapbook.com.
I cut a circle with my Circle Double Stitched Dies out of my pattern paper.  I used a random die I had on hand for my scribble circle that I cut out of vellum. I glued my Daisy, which was also cut from the Circle Double Stitched Dies; to the vellum and raised it on the pattern paper and glued the whole thing onto my embossed card base.
You can see the impression from my embossing folder here. I added some colorful gems to the card around the banners I cut out of random pattern paper I had on hand. I think it accents the Daisy perfectly; spring colors.
Here is one more look at the finished card ...

Quail of a Good Time by Niccole

Hello Ai fans!!

I am stopping by today to share a birthday card I made using the stamp set Hoppy Birdy Set by Art Impressions.  This is such a fun set.  I can't wait to use the "Tweeting Bird."
I started by applying my pattern paper to my card base.  I added a square chocolate glitter piece to my base using foam tape.  I trimmed my white piece smaller. I stamped my birds and Copic colored them. I adhered it to my chocolate glitter piece.  I added Wink of Stella to the balloon for some dimension.
I stamped my birthday sentiment onto a white piece of card stock that trimmed down to fit another piece of chocolate glitter paper.  I placed my sentiment at an angle offset on the square with my birds.  I finished it off with some orange Nuvo Drops.

Here is one more look at the full card ...
Thank you so much for stopping by and spending some time with me.  Please come back again and see what all of us on the Ai team have been up to.

Still Playing in the Dirt... by Crystal

Hi Ai fans!

This week I made two cards using this cute garden lady from the Gotta garden stamp set

We are at the end of garden season here but I thought it would be fun to do a couple cards with this set before I start making holiday cards.

I stamped all of my images in with Memento Black ink so I could color them in with Alcohol markers. I colored them in on a road trip then brought them home to make into cards.

I used the same sentiment on both cards. "Another year OLDER and still PLAYING IN THE DIRT" such a cute sentiment.

Both cards I used different patterns of pattern paper and shaped stitched dies to put the cards together.

It's Birthday Thyme! by Crystal

Hi Ai fans!

This week I played with this Gotta Garden set.

This couple is so super adorable and that gnome is too cute with them. I colored the gnome in really traditional gnome colors.

I kept both cards very simple and kept the focus on the image that I colored in.

Both card are matted on pattern paper then matted onto solid card stock.

I love the sentiments they are just perfect for the image. "It's your Birthday THYME!" and Lettuce CELEBRATE!"

Fright Night Anything Ghost! | By Jessica Shier

Hello Ai Fans!
I can't get enough of this Fright Night set. I just had to make another scene card, this time I'm using these fun loving, partying ghosts!

I started this design by stamping the ghosts and pumpkin on to a piece of Neenah 80lb Solar White card stock. I used Gina K Amalgam ink in Jet Black to stamp these guys. Aren't they so fun!? Plus ghosts are super easy to color! I used just a few gray Copic markers, colors listed below, to color the ghosts bodies. Adding in some yellow highlights as a reflection of the light coming from the jack-o-lantern. This stamp has the ghosts sitting on top of stumps and the pumpkin is a separate stamp. I brought the grass/ground coloring just past the edges to make the edges. Then I fussy cut the whole scene out and the pumpkin which I adhered on top.

I layered this over a piece of Wolf Pack pattern paper which I die cut using the small double ended flag die from the Art Impressions Tag Double Stitch Die.  Both of those pieces are layered over a piece of navy cardstock and then I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I added a piece of gray cardstock to a Neenah Solar White 110lb card base and attached everything to the top.
