I love you tons by Sharon Caudle

 Hello AI Fans!!

Have you started making your Valentines Day cards yet? It's that time of year ya know! It's only a couple weeks away, believe it or not! I can't believe we are already through the month of January! So anyway, I have a little card to show you today that features the adorable 5219 Lovable Animals Set! Links for everything are below.  I love this adorable little elephant! I stamped it onto cryogen white paper and then colored her up with Copic markers.

The scalloped card is so easy to create. Just score and fold your paper to be larger than the scalloped die you want to use. Then place your die where the top of it is above the card fold so it won't cut it. To hide the flat spot, just cut out a full scalloped circle mat and glue it on top of the card base. Voila! You have a round scalloped card which is the perfect size for a small Valentine!

So that's it for me today! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit and until next time - stay crafty!!

Owl Always Love You by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri Firth here! Today, I am sharing Valentine's day cards featuring the Owl Flutter Set. This project is perfect for Ai's current challenge, "Shimmy & Shake" since the owl flaps his wings up and down! Finally, this project is featured on my personal blog today, check it out here.

This adorable owl image is from the Owl Flutter Set. I colored the owl with Copic markers including W5, W3, W1, W00 for the feathers and Y00, Y11, Y21, Y26 for the eyes. In the stamp set, the owl is wearing a birthday hat. After stamping and coloring the image I used scissors to remove the hat.

With this interactive card, when you pull on the tab the owl's wings move up and down. Ai has provided wonderful instructions on how to make this mechanism work inside of the stamp packaging. The stamps, dies, and push-pins are all provided in the set. You will just need string and a pencil!

To create the background I used a retired Hearts and Dots Stencil with Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves, and Candied Apple Distress Oxide inks. I distressed the edges of the card front and the heart die cuts with Candied Apple Distress ink. The heart die cuts and the "XO" stamp come from the Lovable Animals Set.

I created another version of the card where the owl is stationary. I used the Stitched Circle die cut to add a sentiment to the front of the card. The "Owl Always Love You" sentiment is also from the Lovable Animals Set. I love both versions of this card design. Aren't they just adorable?!

Animal Love Notes by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri Firth here! Today, I am sharing a collection of simple and clean card designs featuring the Lovable Animals set. These cards are perfect for Ai's current animal challenge, "Lions, Tigers, and Bears, Oh My!". Find out more about Ai challenges here. This card is featured on my personal blog today, check it out here

The Lovable Animals set is so much fun! It comes with four adorable characters and a variety of accessories for the animals to hold so that they can show their love!

First, I cut the front panel to be 3.75" x 5". Next I trimmed a piece of masking paper to the same dimensions and die cut the large heart (die included in the Lovable Animals set) from the masking paper. I placed the mask over the front panels and ink blended over the heart opening with Distress Oxide inks. The colors I used include:

Pink: Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry
Blue: Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans
Yellow: Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey
Green: Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles

After blending, I used water to create an ink resisting effect and to add texture to the inked heart design.

Once the ink blended areas were dry I stamped the coordinating sentiments with pigment black ink and heat embossed the sentiments with clear embossing powder. I used foam tape to attach the front panel to the white background piece.

I colored the animals and their accessories with my Copic Sketch markers. I attached the characters to the card front with foam circles.

Cute Set of Valentine's Day Cards by Crystal

Hi AI fans! Almost Valentine's day so I need to play with the Lovable Animals stamp set. All of the animals are so cute in this set that I couldn't pick just one to make a card out of I ended up making a set of four. Each animal has a cute coordinating sentiment to go along with it.  I stamped all of the images I wanted to use with Versafine black ink onto water color paper and painted them all. Once the all where dry I die cut them out with their coordinating dies.

"I LOVE YOU TONS!"

"You're Paw-some"

"Owl always LOVE you"

"You're Puuufect Valentine"

Happy stamping!

You're Paw-some! by ReneƩ Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing a card made with the 5219 – Lovable Animals Set.
It's actually a Valentine's Day set but I'm using it for my niece's birthday.

I love all the Art Impressions animal sets but this is one of my favorites!
It comes with dies so you don't have to fussy cut the images!

I also made a slimline version

The dies I used were the large heart and the two dies that cut out the fox and gift package.  The XO is also a verse in the set in addition to the You're Paw-some.

Lovable Animals Birthday Cards by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Lovable Animals stamp set to make several cards. I love that this stamp set imcludes the matching dies.  It makes it very easy to make several cards

I started by stamping the images onto Canson XL watercolor paper.  They were inked up with Tombow Dual Brush markers.  I then colored them in using the same markers and a #4 brush. I will list the colors used under each image.   I then cut the images out with the matching dies that come in the set. I followed the colors Bonnie gave us on her Watercolor Wednesday on YouTube. I used the Bo Bunny Early Bird 6" x 6" paper collection.
Owl:
N25-Lamp Black + 947-Burnt Sienna, 526-True Blue, 965-Dark Brown, 885 Warm Red
Cat:
969-Chocolate + 565-Deep Blue, N25-Lamp Black, 885-Warm Red
Elephant:
N25-Lamp Black, 526-True Blue, 885-Warm Red
Fox:
965-Dark Brown + 565 Deep Blue, 947-Burnt Sienna, 885-Warm Red

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

Blossom Border Card by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

My friend Char had a birthday last week. I used the Blossom Border stamp set to create this clean and simple Birthday Card.
I started with a piece of white cardstock and some washi tape.  I added the washi tape onto my cardstock using the grid on my glass mat.  I then added Antique Linen Distress ink with a mini ink blender.  I removed the washi tape to reveal a striped background.  I then cut out a heart using a die from the Lovable Animals set.
I put the border stamp into my stamp platform.  I placed the stamp so it would fit into the die cut heart.  I then colored the blossoms with the 636 Imperial Purple Tombow Dual Brush marker.  I stamped it onto a piece of Cansom 140 lb. watercolor paper.  Next, I colored the leaves with the 177 Dark Jade Tombow Dual Brush marker.  I used a damp brush to spread out the color.  I colored just the centers with the fine tip of the imperial purple marker. I used my Clear Wink of Stella pen to add some shimmer over the flowers. I then stamped Happy Birthday from the SBC Exclusive Hydrangea stamp set with Black Versafine Clair ink right over the flowers. I also added some splatter by scribbling some imperial purple marker onto my palette and picking it up with my brush.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

You're Paw-some! by Carol Hintermeier

Happy Monday Ai fans!  I have one last card (for a little while-LOL!) using the Art Impressions' Lovable Animals set.  This cute little fox is perfect for a birthday card, or switch up the colors, and it would be just right for Valentine's Day!

I stamped the fox and other images with my MISTI in Copic safe ink and colored them with the Copic markers listed below.  I started with an A2 top-folding card base and added blue, black, and patterned paper layers with liquid adhesive.  I cut two thin strips of the blue card stock and adhered them on each side of the black striped paper.

Then I used the included dies to cut out the images.  I love how the die cuts the slits for the fox to hold a treat, a cupcake in this case.  I popped up the fox and second cupcake with foam squares.

Stamp the sentiment with black ink and die cut it with a Flag Double Stitched die.  I then die cut the end again to shorten the overall length.  Matt this on a blue layer then pop it up with foam squares.  For a bit of sparkle and shine I added some clear sparkle with a glitter pen to the cupcake icing and Diamond Glaze to the cupcake sprinkles.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope you've enjoyed seeing these cards using each cute animal from the Lovable Animals set.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fun, crafty week!
